Hotties Dazzling Christmas 2012

Carrie Genzel in “The Wishing Tree”

 alt=  alt=

One of the most intensely gorgeous faces in the industry, Carrie Genzel is a Canadian talent who often is compelling as she is lovely. Her new movie “A Wishing Tree”, another Hallmark Channel favorites sees her tackling the role of Amanda Breen, a domineering woman whose son is a little bit of a troublemaker. That is until the Christmas spirit brings out family bonding and everyone remembers that love is really the most important emotion one can have in life. From TV shows (my fav being her appearance on “Femme Fatales” as a devious doctor) to big screen features, CARRIE has always been incredibly striking!

Christina DeRosa in “Christmas Twister”

 alt=  alt=

Words can only partly describe how much of a Sex Symbol Christina DeRosa is and it’s best to be in awe of her by watching the heat she can generate in the performances she’s given. This olive-skinned Mediterranean goddess with the voluptuous curves is starring in the movie “Christmas Twister”. Despite its grim content when a swarm of Texas tornadoes levels family man Ethan Walker’s (Casper Van Dien) home on Christmas Eve, hope and courage rings true as he searches to save his loved ones. Conversant in a variety of genres, Christina is taking on the mantle of rising starlet and looks likely to amass a big following.

Elaine Hendrix in “Anything But Christmas”
 alt=  alt=

As an actress, she’s done 3 Christmas movies thus far and keeps getting foxier every time we watch her onscreen. A true beauty in every sense of the word, Elaine continues to be at the forefront of fascination on celluloid as well as on the social activism front. In the TV Movie “Anything But Christmas”, she stars as Grace who is head over heels in love with Christmas and polar opposite to her holiday-phobic love interest John. The question is will their love endure? What is certain is that fans have firmly fallen for Elaine over the years and personally for me, her sweetbedroom eyes makes Elaine that extra special in our hearts.

Shelby Janes in “A Star For Christmas”
 alt=

To be passionate in promoting the work of independent actresses is something I’m truly fond of which is why Shelby Janes will be dear to my heart. Right here, I’m doing my part to give kudos to women who are dedicated in the pursuit of their craft and highlighting their very own distinctive gifts to the wider public. Just like how the mutant-horror film ‘ALBINO FARM’ introduced Miss Shelby to a viewer like me, it’s great that a holiday piece like “A Star For Christmas” can elevate her profile. Just like the word “Star” in her latest film, Shelby should be looked up as one for being pure and appealing.

Elisabeth Röhm in “A Christmas Kiss”
 alt=

If ever there was a popular lady in TV and Movie Land then Elisabeth Röhm would be one of the first to be exalted every time. The star of “Law and Order”, “Heroes” and “The Client List” is the Blonde Bombshell who is endowed with the sexy radiance that arouses the senses till today. In the romantic comedy “A Christmas Kiss”, Elisabeth is Priscilla Hall, a famed designer whose love life gets complicated when her assistant starts having a thing for her boyfriend. Will she lose her man this Christmas? Does it matter she’s not always the object of affection onscreen when she’s consistently proven to be so swoon-worthy.

Nikki Deloach in “Golden Christmas 3″
 alt=

Nikki plays a matchmaker in the romantic tale “Golden Christmas 3″ and yet again she’s a scene stealer as she has done on the hit TV series “Awkward”. Being a huge fan of cute actresses, it’s natural to feel an affinity for Miss Nikki Deloach whose sassy personality both on and camera is a delight. As Lacey Hamilton on “Awkward”, she’s regarded by many as a hot mom but doesn’t she seem forever youthful so gravitating towards her adorable nature is a snap! On the small screen, both she and Lauren Graham (Parenthood) have intriguingly depicted flawed yet thoroughly lovable characters, gaining the approval of worldwide audiences.

Lisa Durupt in “Hitched For The Holidays”
 alt=  alt=

Touted as one of the best romantic Christmas-themed films of 2012, “Hitched For The Holidays” would most certainly be highly watchable and for the fact Lisa Durupt is making an appearance on it. I only just got in contact with Lisa this year and was pleasantly surprised that she’s famed for her work on the quirky series “Less Than Kind” as the lively Shandra. She’s a prime example of why I adore Canadian talents as their attractive qualities go beyond the boundaries of beauty. Lisa has substantiated her ability to be irresistible in comedic roles with a reviewer comparing her to Kristen Bell. From this point forth, she can only get more enthralling!

Indie Queen: Janet Ulrich Brooks

 alt=  alt=

From theater to indie features, there’s noteworthy moments by which JANET ULRICH BROOKS often will leave audiences and reviewers enamored. Described as being highly watchable, JANET’s spot on delivery of an assortment of characters has seen praise coming from within and outside the industry. Be it employing a foreign accent or navigating the challenges of portraying varied expressions, she’s done it all and at the same time held our attention. At the Hollywood Reel Indie Film Festival, she appears in “One Small Hitch”, a tale of unexpected passion between 2 childhood friends who try to fake a wedding engagement. Seeing how comedy is her forte, she’s certainly part of some funny moments on film and if you get a chance to see her onscreen, marvel at her flair as an entertainer. In “I Heart Shakey”, she does play up the qurkiness as a dictatorial manager Estelle Willinger who is a stickler when it comes to pets at her property.

If you’ve seen Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil, JANET’s interpretation of the villain in the family comedy is larger-than-life and eccentrically fascinating. JANET has a colorful and impressive career thus far, a true-blue talent on stage as well as the features she’s been in…:) Having signaled her intention to meet me in future, I wouldn’t hesitate to take her up on the offer.

Rising Starlet: Katy Foley

 alt=  alt=

If it’s her alluring green eyes that have got you hooked then KATY FOLEY can certainly do so for hours on end. Have you seen her in the music video “My Apology” (above) by Aussie Singer/Songwriter Penny Hewson? Her appearance is one of haunting captivation befitting the ethereal texture of the melody and I have to say the vid is a new addiction for me (brings back memories of my fascination with Cocteau Twins). KATY is in her element as the song reaches its climax, her pained expression towards the end is so beguiling. In addition, she’s heating up the red carpet at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival with the premiere of her comedy short “Hairball”. She plays Clarissa who is seemingly the perfect blind date until the man who a thing for her discovers some unusual flaws of the physical kind. Let’s just say it’s sort of a hairy situation between the two lovebirds! The quirky performance by KATY should warrant a wave of adoration from indie fans.

That warrants a visit to the KATY FOLEY OFFICIAL SITE where you can view more of her videos. KATY can be sexy, funny and also display varied nuances in her performances with the impact being a sustained interest. Enthralling her way into our hearts is on the cards and we can’t wait for more. I’m due an interview with this up and comer of the film industry, so watch this space for more on the very lovely Miss Katy Foley…:)

Captivating Hotties @ Hollywood Reel Indie Film Festival 2012

Tara Cardinal in “Liberator”

 alt=

Insanely Sexy and exceedingly sweet are two facets identifiable in the ravishing Tara Cardinal who will fire up our imagination with her role as Gaia in “Liberator”. Especially since she gets to brandish her array of superpowers and faces the original Incredible Hulk Lou Ferrigno who is the titular Liberator, a disgraced superhero who is targeted for assassination. In addition to her ass-kicking role, she will soon up the action ante in “Legend Of The Red Reaper” as a demon-hunting warrior out for vengeance. Add to that, her appearance alongside Eric Roberts in the thriller “Spreading Darkness” and we have a starlet on the path to prominence.

Marianna Palka in “When You Find Me”

 alt=

Her angelic presence in the Bryce Dallas Howard directed melancholic piece “When You Find Me” would make Marianna Palka instantly memorable. She’s perfectly ethereal in her representation of the mother for whom 2 women with contrasting feelings reminisce over their loss in a dream sequence when they were kids. If ever there was an actress born to be an indie sweetheart it would be the willowy beauty Marianna. Sundance, Bafta, Newport Beach are just some of the film Festivals where her impeccable onscreen work has been more than well-received. Be prepared to be wowed over and over again…:)

Lauren Lakis in “Anti-Muse”
 alt=

In the comedy short “Anti-Muse”, the eternally cute Lauren Lakis stars as Jules, a depressed girl who instills a sense of positivity in a man who is prepared to take his own life. Viewers will soon be acquainted with her irresistible appeal on either side of the lens as Lauren is truly bewitching in every sense of the word and her reel (above) is a must-watch. Most would agree she has genially, inviting features and it’s apparent Lauren has been ever present on this blog, more so when she’s so lovable in person. She even gave me a shout out on my facebook page and featuring her is my way of showering her with love in return.

Indie Princess: Catherine Warner

 alt=  alt=

Expressive features on an actress is to be coveted and CATHERINE WARNER has invitingly, compelling attributes that stirs hearts. This can be seen in the number of reviews praising her heavenly personality, especially those reflecting on her performance in the tense short film “Earrings”. From the subtle, multi-layered execution of her tragic role to impressing as the leading lady in what was essentially a limited-dialogue content, CATHERINE made believers out of several independent film buffs. At Shockfest 2012, she is again one of the leads of another short “Nibble” which this time delves into horror territory. While we have yet to see a trailer, the synopsis points to a creature feature and tells of a typical young man who apparently has something living in the confines of his walls at home.

It will intriguing to find out how CATHERINE fits into the story and we may just find she’s on course to hypnotize us once again. The CATHERINE WARNER OFFICIAL SITE is yet another avenue to discover this wonderful starlet who is growing into her own as an actress competent in the more emotionally darker roles. We have always been enamored by women on celluloid who push themselves and it’s no wonder we keep returning to be enchanted…:) Thumbs up to CATHERINE for being one of those who make us giddy with excitement.

Ravishing Redhead: Alycen Malone

 alt=  alt=

Horror Starlets Fever continue with the delectable ALYCEN MALONE whom many will agree is so pleasing to the eyes. She is starring in the found footage thriller “The Garlock Incident” which is premiering at ShockFest 2012 and from the trailer, the tease of something cryptic is bound to get people talking. The footage will eventually reveal the fate of 8 people who stop at the Ghost Town of Garlock, California and ALYCEN is one of those who by all accounts vanished without a trace. Are their disappearance supernatural or otherwise? Is there some dark malevolence behind it or would it be the case of a more rational explanation? All questions will be answered on November 17th when we get a glimpse of “The Garlock Incident”! I’m sure viewers are curious to find how ALYCEN fares amidst the mystery.

She does have those penetrating bluish eyes that can be enigmatic and what would be needed in a role of perplexing circumstances. We have to believe the actor before we believe the film so ALYCEN has a refreshing honesty which we hope to see even more of…:) So many times before it’s been a horror feature that’s been the platform for new faces to shine so there’s plenty of time for ALYCEN to capture our hearts.

Foxy Femmes at ShockFest 2012

Devanny Pinn, Jessica Cameron and Sarah Nicklin in “The Black Dahlia Haunting”

 alt=
 alt=  alt=

It’s gratifying to be able to watch a trio of uniquely alluring Scream Queens in 1 movie, each having their brand of sexiness to entice a generation of fans. Stars of “The Black Dahlia Haunting which premiers at ShockFest 2012, Devanny Pinn, Jessica Cameron and Sarah Nicklin are as a group mighty appealing. As individuals, we will find them enticing! Devanny is the ‘Horror Barbie’ with a style that’s described as edgy. Jessica Cameron is a Canadian vixen whose is touted as a blossoming talent. Sarah Nicklin who is an indie darling is fondly remembered for her work in “The Disco Exorcist”. That’s 3 potential newsmakers!

Nicole Travolta in “Orange Country Hill Killers”

 alt=

Just heard Nicole Travolta has been nominated for Best Actress at ShockFest 2012 thanks to her riveting performance in “Orange County Hill Killers”. Certainly she’s in illustrious company alongside favorites Devanny Pinn and others who are also being featured right here. Nicole has to be doing something right since there’s growing recognition for her various appearances onscreen. She may be the niece of luminary John Travolta but this sweet brunette has made her own mark in the industry and has always been so down-to-earth. Spread the love for her as she’s a beguiling face everyone will have a soft spot for…:)

Hannah Levien in “Children Of Sorrow”
 alt=

Having seen how Elizabeth Olsen wowed audiences in “Martha Marcy May Marlene”, it won’t be a surprise if Hannah Levien does likewise in another psychological drama about the influence of cults on people in “Children Of Sorrow”. As Ellen a woman who searches for answers after the disappearance of her sister, she delves headlong into what will become a dark journey to seek the truth. From the engrossing trailer, she’s channels a myriad of emotions which is pretty amazing. I’m a huge supporter of Australian talents and Hannah is proving her worth ever since her emergence in the US Market.

Jillian Murray and Jules Hartley in “Visible Scars”
 alt=  alt=

I’ve had the distinct pleasure of meeting one while the other I hope to meet someday. Jules Hartley who previously was a scene stealer in the HBO TV Series “Femme Fatales” has a supporting role in “Visible Scars”. I can say I was lucky to have met her on her stopover in Singapore during her trip across the globe and in person she’s every bit as captivating as she is on film. With Jillian Murray you know what you’re getting for she is a certified Sex Bomb. The leading lady of “Visible Scars” is a nominee for Sexiest Shockfest Sweetheart and she’s absolutely stunning. (I think we all remember her racy ways in the Wild Things: Foursome!)

Emily Spalding in “The One That Got Away”
 alt=

Some actresses are so photogenic, they command attention from the get go and Emily Spalding is one such talent. Be it commercials or independent features, her looks will enthrall viewers without fail. What will fascinate further is her drive and ambition to make it big in an increasingly competitive entertainment biz. “The One That Got Away”, a quirky short about a serial killer who faces a conundrum when his prisoner escapes should be the platform for Emily to gain prominence. Not only is Emily immensely beautiful, the interesting roles Emily has essayed will lead to a devoted fanbase.

Jen Nikolaus in “Nowhere Road”
 alt=

Jen Nikolaus is the hazel-eyed hottie with delectable curves who is making a name for herself in a series of Horror features. Don’t you adore actresses who can be cute and seductive at the same time, showcasing those very facets in the thrilling short “Nowhere Road” which re-invents the often seen slasher genre. Just when you thought things were straight-forward, Jen produces a twist in her role as the seemingly innocent Krin. In fact, her previous features such as “Caesar and Otto’s Summer Camp Massacre” as well “The Victorville Massacre” has highlighted how we can’t get enough of her mesmerizing personality.

Sizzling Cutie: Amber Connor

 alt=  alt=

Her ability to move from sweetheart to tempting and back again is what will draw viewers to embrace AMBER CONNOR. The hot pics of her (above) would testify to that in a hurry! With the world premiere of “Bunyan” happening at Shockfest 2012 on November 17th, it’s an event not to be missed seeing how AMBER is the leading lady or should I presume the Final Girl! Certainly no one wants to be at the end of the huge-ass Ax of the urban legend lumberjack Paul Bunyan but that’s what will befall a group of delinquents at boot camp. Amber plays the daughter of a local sheriff who has some skeletons in her closet. Will she be on a collision course with the behemoth Bunyan? All you have to do is get those tickets to watch the carnage unfold. I like so many secretly want Amber’s character CB to survive (at least she’s facing one creature rather than thousands like Brad Pitt in the World War Z trailer! What the Hell!)

At the AMBER CONNOR OFFICIAL SITE, you’ll also discover her work as a voiceover artist, having done animated commercial work. In fact, she recently voiced for a great project called “The Guardians Tale”. Her voice does have a cute timbre to it which is so desirable for a variety of commercials. AMBER can be regarded as the ‘All-American Girl’ and she can only get even more fascinating. I’m honored that she is looking forward to getting to know more about me and as an actress buff, I would reciprocate the love right back to her. So should you…:)
