Film Festivals are where we get a glimpse of talents who should be on our radar and ALISON SIEKE has mesmerizing features that will give rise to many a crush. Her allure reminds me of another hottie with the first name Alison…Alison Lohman that is and we can all discern Ms. Sieke herself is a photogenic sweetheart with an attractively fresh sparkle. It’s her budding beauty that will allow ALISON to take on youthful roles well into her career as she has adorably exhibited on TV shows “The Middle” and “Awkward”. While she’s gone the dramatic route in the short film “Becoming” at the LA Shorts Fest as the love interest of a recent college graduate at the crossroads in his life, we are reminded of her radiance in the trailer (above). She could turn to out be one of the more intriguing faces this year!
It’s always a great feeling when an actress reads the Actress Obsession Blog as Alison has so kindly done, affirming why my support for them has paid off in a big way. It’s become a way of life honoring the dazzling women of film and television where their influence are limitless. Certainly Alison is well on her way to enchanting the masses on a spectrum of entertainment channels and a peek at the ALISON SIEKE OFFICIAL SITE reveals she’s a fixture on LA Fashion Week each season. With her impeccable good looks, solid acting background and the passion she has in polishing her craft, Alison will see plenty of offers coming her way.
With Chinese New Year a few days away, let’s instill some Asian flavor by having ELAINE LOH enchant us right here. For those in the know, ELAINE is actually of Hispanic and Asian heritage, a very alluring combo indeed, those almond shaped eyes, kissable lips and the soft hair very much desirable facets. This up and comer has just scored a role in “The Mentalist” where she’s currently having a ball on set. She’s acknowledged the cast may be the nicest people she’s had the pleasure of working alongside and I have a feeling Simon Baker may have something to do with those friendly vibes. “Californication”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “Chuck” are some of the other shows where ELAINE has displayed her glowing lissomeness. There’s a collection of videos detailing her TV appearances at the ELAINE LOH OFFICIAL SITE. It’s been said she even gets into character when having a shower…what endearing dedication! Hmmm….or were some of you living in hope of seeing lady parts after finding this out since ELAINE is so attractive…;)
Her fight reel shows another dimension to her onscreen abilities and she sure served up some action moves in spy comedy “One Sharp Girl”. Additionally her vocal prowess as a theatre actress and her experience as a teacher/private coach for aspiring actors is indicative of ELAINE’s diverse competencies. This month has all the makings of an auspicious one and since ELAINE has caught our fancy lately, there’ll be a measure of devotion coming her way.
YAY! It’s the time of week where I spotlight actresses who have forged an identity that heralds their unique appeal. With her elaborately fierce body tats, piercings and raven eyeliner, it can be deduced that SARAH BUEHLER has a penchant for Goth subculture. Onscreen she takes being fashionably gothic to an engaging level sometimes with hilarious results for instance her appearance on “The Big Bang Theory”. As the gloomy Sarah, her casual reaction to being ignored is amusingly priceless (check out the funny scene above). This was on the back of another solid turn as a Goth Girl Glenda in an episode of “Life” where she delivers some preciously witty lines. In 2011, as a redhead this time around, stars in “Razor” that has a ravenous hyena smelling dinner time when a group of unfortunate souls happened to come its way. Sid Haig does his utmost to creep us out yet again in this horror comedy. She has done her share of slashers with human villains or otherwise; The Psycho Clown Killer Feature “Drive Thru” comes to mind where she shared screen time with a bevy of beauties including a pre-Gossip Girl fame Leighton Meester, Melora Hardin and Rachael Bella.
SARAH’s acting finesse was already evident ever since her debut film “Blue Car” became a Sundance fav. Praised for being part of a top-notch indie cast, she’s grown from strength to strength ever since; Gotta love the carefree yet approachable brashness she effectuates in her roles. On top of being an actress, SARAH is an accomplished photographer shooting everything from concerts, nature, and those Hollywood Headshots that’s become essentially ubiquitous. Have a taste of her portfolio at the SARAH BUEHLER PHOTOGRAPHY SITE and why not drop by the SARAH BUEHLER OFFICIAL SITE as well to watch her reel. Reading all the appreciative comments on the web about SARAH’s unconventional sexiness leads me to the conclusion that we are indeed enjoying the cinematic pleasure she’s whipping up.
Meeting a Femme Fatale Starlet in the flesh has to be chalked up as one of the greatest moments in the ebb and flow of life. Actress Jules Hartley visited Singapore (she’s here for 5 days) and besides taking her sight-seeing, I got to hang out with her at my home…how cool is that! I’m awe-strucked by her beauty and also the warmth she has for people as well as animals. We chatted about her racy stint on “Femme Fatales” and her experiences being in Asia yet there’s two things that is exceptional about her. As a person, she genuinely cares about local culture, something that is diminishing in our world today due to globalisation. As a performer, she has only kind words for her peers and stresses how grateful she is to be a working actress. That’s the measure Of A Woman in this case the enthralling Miss JULES HARTLEY…:) Coincidentally, she was the leading lady in the drama “The Measure Of A Man”, her most emotional role to date as Lizzy, the daughter at her father’s death bed who reminisces how special her dad has been in her life. A standout tearjerker all the more poignant thanks to a touchingly tender performance by JULES.
While she does look like an enticing mix of Heather Graham (you have to see the pic of her as Roller Girl) and Mischa Barton, JULES has a vulnerability on screen that parallels that of Jennifer Jason Leigh. On “Americas Most Wanted” she played a 19-year old runaway turning tricks for a pimp, showcasing her range as a damaged teen searching for a way out of her predicament. Of course if you’ve seen her in the episode ‘Help Me Rhonda’ of “Femme Fatales”, she’s all edgy titillation, the dark red lipstick accentuating her manipulative gangster moll persona. After all, her character is called Molly Trevor, full of sauciness especially the scene of her cavorting with her very much married paramour…Scandalous! Be sure to check out the JULES HARTLEY OFFICIAL SITE where she is praised for both her engaging acting and melodious singing.
Jules has also modeled for top fashion brands such as Kate Spade, Prada and Ralph Lauren. On top of wowing audiences on stage, she recently started the charming web series “Forbidden Fruit Kitchen”, a cooking show using the freshest sometimes exotic food. During her current trip around the world, JULES has been researching the unique local fare of the countries she visited and I was glad to show her around town discovering unique delicacies. She’s a major reason why I have such passion for blondes, her pleasantness overflowing, her delicate allure more than exquisite. What more can one ask for when not only did I get two autographs specially signed by JULES, she gave me an adoring kiss. She may be taking a hiatus from acting endeavors but she’s truly unforgettable in every way…:) I cherished the enjoyable time I spent with such a kind, soulful gal and here’s hoping I’ll get to meet her once more, this side or the other.
KIMBER LEIGH & DANAE McKILLOP in “Sweet Connections”
Blondes have and will always be a recipe for infatuation that I continually find hard to resist. Am I lucky or what to be an acquaintance of not one but two lovely ladies who exudes sexiness as well as a very pleasing congeniality. I’m of course talking about the delightful duo of Kimber Leigh and Danae McKillop. Together they have pool their impeccable talents to give us the enjoyable short “Sweet Connections” which is premiering at Phoenix Comicon on May 28th during the Local Comedy Block. I’m truly indebted to Kimber for sending me her luscious collection of autographed photos and elated that Danae included me in her ever growing droves of fans. Blonde Bombshells in their own right, both should be amorously adored…;)
She gained prominence as the super-juiced Glory in “Buffy” and became one of TV’s Great Villains. For me, Clare Kramer will always be fondly remembered in the under-rated flick “The Thirst” as the drug-addicted terminally ill woman recruited into a vampire cult. Recently, I saw her in the indie thriller “Endure” as a kidnapped woman tied for days on a tree for the pleasure of a demented killer….yet again the blonde siren is at her riveting best. Away from the camera, Clare has been called Smart and Funny, a testament to her bubbly, warm disposition. If you’re a fervent devotee, there’ll be a Clare Kramer Spotlight come Saturday May 28th at Phoenix Comicon…that’s Unmissable!
Many of her fans probably can’t wait for Fall to arrive after finding out that Horror Princess Deneen Melody was cast as one of the Original Bunnies in NBC’s pilot of “The Playboy Club. From an early photo, the curvaceous Deneen epitomizes the sumptuous traits of a Playboy Bunny we’ve come to love..:) It’s been a booming year for her with Slices Of Life, Rose White and the remake of “Don’t Look In The Basement” expected to evoke avid reaction. She’s also starring in the award-winning web series “Western X” ensuring her blend of enigmatic delivery, acting versatility and pin-up allure will have us constantly addicted.

KRISTIN BAUER in “True Blood”
It’s easy to fathom why couch potatoes have an ardent hunger for Kristin Bauer. If you’re talking about seductiveness in the shape of a female vampire then Ingrid Pitt would be the icon of such temptation. As Pamela Swynford De Beaufort in “True Blood”, Kristin has a similarly lust-inducing appeal that Ingrid herself would be proud of if she were still alive. No doubt she’ll be steaming up the Phoenix Comicon and I have a feeling convention attendees would want that to continue over more than just 3 days she’s allocated…hehe. The cunning sophistication and ballsy attitude she has embraced as Pam in “True Blood” will keep us entranced for ages.
She’s as fascinating as her hotpot of transitional nationalities having been born in Canada, moved on to her Aussie phase in Melbourne and now establishing herself as an New York indie starlet. SARAH LASSEZ is quite the unconventional lady admitting that her acting career goes through phases going from the virginal to the whorish stages which might include a crazy spell or two. If that makes her some sort of visionary, this must be the best phase in her life! She is of course headlining the United Film Festival 2011 as the lead in supernatural musical “The Dead Inside”. It’s compelling to note her character is called Fi having starred as a demoness in the horror comedy “Lo” previously. Evidently SARAH’s quirkiness is anything but Lo-Fi and her penchant for eccentric roles such as the spirit-possessed author Fi in “The Dead Inside” generates more than cursory intrigue. I read that SARAH has an addiction to the paranormal especially in the area of psychic phenomena so I get why she’s attuned to the spiritual dominion in many of her films. Enter her extraordinary world at the SARAH LASSEZ OFFICIAL SITE.
She’s also the author of “Psychic Junkie”, the honest memoirs of a struggling actress in the topsy-turvy entertainment business which has been featured in the New York Times, the Today Show, People Magazine and Entertainment Weekly. If you were hooked on that book back in 2006, you’ll still be enchanted by the indie maven that is SARAH LASSEZ! Not only has she worked with big guns Christopher Plummer, Dennis Hopper and Margot Kidder, SARAH is also revered for portraying a kung-fu obsessed nymphomaniac/health inspector turned savage murderess in the cult movie “Mad Cowgirl”. Full of oddball individuality, this winsome beauty has positioned herself to be one uniquely charming personality.
If you were at the recently concluded SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL (lucky bastards), you would have caught some of the finest young indie starlets such as RENNY GRAMES mingling with luminaries such as Zooey Daschanel and Ashton Kutcher. In the upcoming Sundance-worthy drama “I LIVE AT THE HOUSE WITH THE BLUE DOOR”, RENNY offers an unsettling, disquiet performance as a wealthy wife driven by guilt after a life-changing tragedy. Come to think of it, she looks like a cross between actress Amy Smart and Lauren German but RENNY has her own distinctively captivating pixiness that’s also accentuated by stirringly strong features. On the acting front, you can read about her intriguing projects at the RENNY GRAMES OFFICIAL SITE. She’s also a singer/vocal coach and her sultry, resonating voice is awe-inspiring. Love that she has an Asian connection having been born in Tokyo and residing there for a number of years….get her in a JAPANESE FILM i say!
It’s also great to see her inject a little fun once in a while as evident from her foray into low-budget horror in ‘ORCS’ that takes the mickey out of ‘Lord Of The Rings’ in spates. Those pesky beasts didn’t have a chance in Middle Earth and they won’t either on Earth after getting a piece of RENNY’s shotgun (watch the trailer above)! We’ve already aware that she’s a fine dramatic actress and it’s always nice to see her cut loose in less serious fare. I highly fancy this eloquent blonde to be one of the “IT” Girls of the indie scene especially since she has such a radiant potency on screen.
As Laura Lurch in ‘OUT TO LUNCH’, DANIELLE HOETMER embraced one of the weirdest characters ever seen on a web series. Who can forget the creepy laugh without actually smiling that Laura exhibited at the end of the “The Pot Brownie” episode (above) that has us chuckling inside. Shudder at the thought that our next-door neighbors can be so outlandishly bizarre! Together with starlets Kathrin Smirke and Julie Mintz, DANIELLE makes up the lusciously talented threesome that’s giving neurotic behavior a dose of the funny so that we can snigger at the silly things we sometimes do. Of course i must underline that DANIELLE is hugely attractive especially with those dreamy blue eyes. DANIELLE also appeared in 2 episodes of TV Series ‘OUTLAW’ as a wife of a police officer on trial for murdering an illegal alongside Mr Charisma Jimmy Smits. Watch a clip from that episode plus keep up to date with this sexy blonde at the DANIELLE HOETMER OFFICIAL SITE.
Sumptuous model, theater thesp, producer and indie starlet, we’ve only scratched the surface of her many sublime gifts. Regularly praised for her acting finesse and mesmerizing assets, it’s a joy to see her tickle our funny bone or fascinate us in more dramatic fare. Be blown away by her impressive reel (above), showing us why she’s an enthralling prospect in the present and for the future.
