Must Watch TV Vixens Of Summer 2013!


It’s the greatest feeling when one of my actress friends give me the thumbs up for featuring them here on this blog. Even better when I see them being successful in their careers. If only the world is that supportive as I’ve recently found out on twitter and facebook that there’s some who will have disdain for you no matter what. For me, it’s about being supportive of my friends and people of various industries (i.e. actressses, bloggers, communities etc) for only then will you become a better person. So give a shout out to the women who will sizzle on TV this summer!

1. Kayla Mae Maloney, star of “The Glades”

- Cuteness is an addiction and if there’s one lady we’ll be adoring for quite some time is the ebullient Kayla Mae Maloney.
- In Season 4 of “The Glades”, her character Dr. Miranda Buckley gets close to Kiele Sanchez’s Callie…hmmm…wonder how intimate will this relationship really get???

2. Holland Roden, star of “Teen Wolf”

- All hail the return of one of the hottest faces on television as Miss Holland Roden charms us once more only this time in a more emotionally laid-bare sort of way.
- While Season 3 of Teen Wolf will have the Alpha Pack, the very foxy Holland and her co-star Crystal Reed should be called the delectable duo!
- Catch her in person on 23 June 2013 as she heats up the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention.

3. Daya Vaidya, star of “Twisted”

- Daya Vaidya’s recurring role in the new drama “Twisted” will reacquaint viewers with why she’s so unforgettable, having appeared in the series of the same name.
- She embodies the character Sandy who is a tough, saucy female deputy with street smarts and a flirtatiousness to remember!
- This Nepalese-born starlet has a very pleasant appeal because of her accommodating demeanor and is likely to be sought after soon enough.

4. Susie Abromeit, star of “The Have & The Have Nots”

- This list wouldn’t be complete without a striking blonde and Susie has the right personality to make us all swoon.
- Having shown her wild side in several comedies, she’s set to entice us on Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and Have Nots”

Hotties On Film and DVD – Apr 27th


Today April 27th is my birthday so why not celebrate this momentous occasion by featuring some of the most enchanting women to grace the DVD & Film Worlds. Who knows I might just be watching one of their films on DVD at the Birthday Party!

1.Rae Latt in “Blood Type: Unknown”

- Thanks to the enchanting Miss Rae, I’ve got a look at her intriguingly poised upcoming feature “Blood Type:Unknown” which has an interesting mystique surrounding the plot.
- The film is screening at the Newport Beach Film Festival 2013 and she plays Jean Landale, a mom who has to send her only daughter off to college!
- Known for her roles on TV in “Criminal Minds” and “The Office”, she’s currently amassing an impressive body of work on the indie scene.

2. Megan Duffy in “Maniac”

- Her memorable performance in “Maniac” as Lucie, one of the early victims of Psychopath Frank (Elijah Wood) is delightfully saucy.
- So is her photoshoot for iheartgirls.com (above) in her sexy kitty-like costume that fits her fun personality to a tee.
- She exudes a charismatic foxiness that certifies her as a bonafide screen vixen.

3. Sarah Deakins in “The Mark”

- Sarah was one of the first actresses from Canada I got to know when i first started out the blog and you can see why so many will be obsess with her.
- Exceptional beautiful on film, television and print, she’s also built a adoring fan-base thanks to her stints on popular sci-fi TV shows such as Stargate.
- Her ability to reach people and get them involve in the story is amazing so catch her at her beguiling best in action thriller “The Mark” which has been released on DVD.

Asian Vixen: Aoni Ma

Actress and Martial Artiste AONI MA is an all-round captivator, potently beguiling and equipped with the pugilistic skills to rouse your senses. If you’ve seen the myriad of photos floating around the web, AONI has the perfectly svelte body and killer looks (as cliché as that may sound). It’s appropriate to showcase the sexy AONI since we are after all in the throes of Chinese New Year 2013 and in the celebratory mood for admiring Asian hotties. After watching her in the intense Spike Tv Scream Awards Promo 2009 which she headlined with Caity Lotz (who is a fav of mine), I’m instantly drawn to AONI’s prowess on camera. Having gone on a FitBox cum martial arts training at Zen Martial Arts recently, stunt women such as AONI really make it look so easy when in fact it’s really punishing for you. The best part of it all is they are so beautiful and elegant when executing those dynamite moves. In an interview, she talks about telling stories though body movements be it if is in a photo, feature film or even dancing in a music video. AONI is a natural for the high-energy themes and ideal playing Grave, the cold, bitchy assassin. This is one Action Diva we could get attached to for quite some time. Rising Starlet: Kyra Zagorsky

KYRA ZAGORSKY has an incredible glow of sexiness that’s both delectable and yet intrigue us to build an affinity for her. Her roles certainly been some of the more interesting ones, fulfilling audiences and me alike. Anthology films are a firm favorite of mine and KYRA so happens to star in “The ABCS of Death”, a thrill ride of 26 tales of gory fun which also includes some grisly claymation. She is the leading lady of the the segment directed by Kaare Andrews (Altitude) which is set in the future, combining elements of sci-fi and horror. Playing Lainey, an accomplished officer of the law whose dedication in life and career is leading to the day she creates a family of her own. That’s until she gets a surprise she never saw coming! She is the consummate action starlet in “The ABCS of Death” where the fast-paced scenes are a passion she always looks forward to. She is continuing her dexterous ways only this time facing zombies in the soon to be released flick “Toxin”. KYRA’s athleticism and toned figure does advocate her desirability as well as being so commendable onscreen.

In 2012, she sizzled up the small screen in the hit show “Supernatural” as Randa Moreno, a Mayan Goddess with the ability to rip out hearts. KYRA was super foxy throughout the episode and no wonder she’s described as a heart-breaker, alluding to the immense charismatic allure she has…:) Yet again, I’m blessed to be connecting with KYRA as she’s been in so many hit TV shows such as “Fringe”, “Stargate” and “Smallville”. Her diverse body of work is one to savor with “Twist Of Faith” being another feature she’s part of, premiering during Black History Month! on Lifetime this Saturday. A multiple-genre actress, the ravishing KYRA ZAGORSKY is set to be a temptation for all seasons…:)

Sizzling Cutie: Boni Yanagisawa

With her captivating smile and toned figure, BONI YANAGISAWA can be regarded as having a sexiness certain to garner affection. This Pan-Asian hottie is a tough cookie who has invigorated the world of Film and TV as a stuntwoman. She is steadily growing as an actress too, recently starring as co-flight attendant Camelia Satou alongside Denzel Washinton, one of the cinematic greats in “Flight”. It’s a role that could raise her profile and refreshingly there will always be a place for women with the hard as nails dynamism. I’m in awe of how she’s handled deadly weaponry such as katas, swords and naginata, a traditional Japanese sword that resembles a pole.

Just like her fellow stuntwomen, BONI and her peers deserve recognition for constantly putting their bodies on the line. I so happen to experience a little physical abuse at a place called Zen Martial Arts last week and even though it was a FIT Box Training, the cardio-vascular workout was intense. Props to BONI for her delightful vigor onscreen having stunt-doubled for Maggie Q and even Troian Bellisario from “Pretty Little Liars”! One of her upcoming projects is “Steampunk Samurai Biker Chick” and what a killer title it is…;) Boni is kicking-starting a fascination that’s going to linger long in our hearts.

Captivating Hotties @ Hollywood Reel Indie Film Festival 2012


Tara Cardinal in “Liberator”

Insanely Sexy and exceedingly sweet are two facets identifiable in the ravishing Tara Cardinal who will fire up our imagination with her role as Gaia in “Liberator”. Especially since she gets to brandish her array of superpowers and faces the original Incredible Hulk Lou Ferrigno who is the titular Liberator, a disgraced superhero who is targeted for assassination. In addition to her ass-kicking role, she will soon up the action ante in “Legend Of The Red Reaper” as a demon-hunting warrior out for vengeance. Add to that, her appearance alongside Eric Roberts in the thriller “Spreading Darkness” and we have a starlet on the path to prominence.

Marianna Palka in “When You Find Me”

Her angelic presence in the Bryce Dallas Howard directed melancholic piece “When You Find Me” would make Marianna Palka instantly memorable. She’s perfectly ethereal in her representation of the mother for whom 2 women with contrasting feelings reminisce over their loss in a dream sequence when they were kids. If ever there was an actress born to be an indie sweetheart it would be the willowy beauty Marianna. Sundance, Bafta, Newport Beach are just some of the film Festivals where her impeccable onscreen work has been more than well-received. Be prepared to be wowed over and over again…:)

Lauren Lakis in “Anti-Muse”

In the comedy short “Anti-Muse”, the eternally cute Lauren Lakis stars as Jules, a depressed girl who instills a sense of positivity in a man who is prepared to take his own life. Viewers will soon be acquainted with her irresistible appeal on either side of the lens as Lauren is truly bewitching in every sense of the word and her reel (above) is a must-watch. Most would agree she has genially, inviting features and it’s apparent Lauren has been ever present on this blog, more so when she’s so lovable in person. She even gave me a shout out on my facebook page and featuring her is my way of showering her with love in return.

Blonde Bombshell: Jenny Allford

If there’s one hottie who gets my enthusiastic vote, then JENNY ALFORD has the generous sauciness to trigger widespread approval. She’s an easy choice when it comes to obsessing over actresses and JENNY is a babe to be treasured. In the Miss California USA 2011 pageant, she was Miss Santa Cruz and JENNY is every bit the beauty princess with her sensuality apparent for everyone to see. Indie horror is fast becoming the platform for her to shine with a supporting role in “Killjoy Goes to Hell” as a Blue Demon and “Obsidian Heart”, the feature where she takes on the reins of Cosette, a woman cursed by demonic forces. What about her turn as Lizzie Borden in the upcoming “Lizzie Borden’s Revenge”, exacting a murderous rampage and does she up the creep factor so well! She’s the slaughter sister and more than just a temptation with a bloody hatchet in hand.

The JENNY ALLFORD OFFICIAL SITE has a wealth of information including her modeling portfolio that affirms she’s a doll. JENNY is also trained in defense tactics and Muay Thai so she has a physical edge which is an attractive trait when it comes to the more action-oriented movies. Now more than ever we are seeing women being both beautiful and strong onscreen and it’s a trend expected to steadily grow. JENNY ALLFORD is an emerging starlet in our midst and there’s plenty still to come from this mesmeric blonde.

Elise Ivy in “Take Care”

Sometimes it’s about being thoroughly likable and that is an asset Elise Ivy has in abundance. Being a sweetheart can be very sexy and seeing how her congenial nature is visibly inviting, we’ll be hooked on her in no time. After outstanding performances in “Please Give” and the upcoming indie drama “Take Care”, Elise should already be talked up as a potential star. In “Take Care”, she’s Kaylie a woman with a trouble past who enters the seemingly comfortable life of a young couple which leads to reflective self-discovery. Elise puts such natural depth into the role, viewers will be glued to her current and future onscreen appearances.

Jenni Melear in “Dead Dad”

We don’t need any goading when it comes to carrying a torch for Jenni Melear who comes across as an attractive charmer. She may not yet have an extensive filmography but already Jenni is a fascinating watch in the dramedy “Dead Dad”. Excellent as Jane, one third of the Sawtelle siblings who are thrown into dealing with the passing of their father. Some media have commented on how great the acting was in this family drama of sorts with the great chemistry palpable between the 3 leads. Being a dude, everyone knows where my loyalties lie and Jenni would be the one I covet…:)

Sarah French in “Opposite Blood”

She may have reverted to Sarah French as opposed to her stage name Scarlet Salem but there’s no denying her status as one of the most enticing indie actresses today. Essaying the role of Russian assassin Lin Chow in “Opposite Blood”, she cuts her teeth in the action-packed martial arts movie and looks every bit as divine doing so. As we already know, the blonde bombshell is a prominent Scream Queen with quite the busy schedule in 2012, starring in upcoming features such as “Insectula!” and “Hallow Pointe”. And as we’re noticing, Sarah is extending herself into many genres which means a hottie visual feast.
