With the world premiere of “Bunyan” happening at Shockfest 2012 on November 17th, it’s an event not to be missed seeing how AMBER is the leading lady or should I presume the Final Girl! Certainly no one wants to be at the end of the huge-ass Ax of the urban legend lumberjack Paul Bunyan but that’s what will befall a group of delinquents at boot camp. Amber plays the daughter of a local sheriff who has some skeletons in her closet. Will she be on a collision course with the behemoth Bunyan? All you have to do is get those tickets to watch the carnage unfold. I like so many secretly want Amber’s character CB to survive (at least she’s facing one creature rather than thousands like Brad Pitt in the World War Z trailer! What the Hell!)

In fact, she recently voiced for a great project called “The Guardians Tale”. Her voice does have a cute timbre to it which is so desirable for a variety of commercials. At ITVfest 2011, you’ll be able to watch JUDITH BENEZRA in the very first episode of the increasingly popular web series “DeVanity”…and why shouldn’t we when she’s 5 feet 10 inches of pure enchantment. As the crafty Kitty Crane, she directs tough questions at protagonist Jason DeVanity, cleverly trying to dig up dirt in the process. One can see how she relishes embodying a character that rubs people the wrong way. This summer, JUDITH has already shown how imposingly saucy she can be as Shoshanna in “Frents” aka “Friends For Rent” on Youtube. The statuesque actress tantalizes throughout (that she surely does even off set) and of course how can we not be transfixed on her deliciously buxom figure (watch the Pool Party episode and you’ll be wanting to give her a hug too..hehe). Things can only get hotter for JUDITH since she’s set to play a host of characters in “Electric City”, the highly-anticipated animated series from the brilliant mind of acclaimed actor Tom Hanks. Having also worked with established stars such as Chris Pine, Blair Underwood, Jayma Mays, Jenny McCarthy and Jane Seymour, isn’t it time for JUDITH to steal some of the limelight herself.
An esteemed comedienne, she’s performed at a slew of venues in Los Angeles and currently co-hosts Indiglo-An Alternative Comedy Show with Alison Becker every last Sunday of the month where funds are raised in support of a charity organization. Such a worthy cause from JUDITH brings attention to her generous soul. I’ll always adore her for remembering my birthday and in kind showering her with my loving support comes easily. Having made her presence felt on the net, we’ll be desiring this curvaceous beauty even more in the coming months.

Shamelessly infatuated with Emmy Rossum and Shanola Hampton would be what many fans feel for this hot actresses who amped up the sass and sex factor in the compelling series “Shameless”. Taking on the role of Fiona Gallagher and Veronica Fisher, they both embodied both their playfully wild as well as affectionate sides with accomplished ease. The running of a personal x-rated home webcam in Veronica’s case and the bare-all drama including raunchy love making of Fiona highlights the rawness of the show. As opposed to the original British series, this US Version coveys its own cultural nuances and stands as a sensation on its own merit. Shanola is overwhelmingly pleasant to her fans and while she’ll be missed at the “Shameless” panel at Comic Con, sexy siren Emmy is present plus we do get to see the alluring Shanola in the Season 2 sneak peek…:)

The immensely cute Megan Hilty joins forces with “Glee” sweetheart Lea Michele as the voice talents of the upcoming 3D animated film, “Dorothy of Oz”. Both are set to attend Comic Con and Lea will be singing a song from the film along with fellow stage veteran Megan Hilty…now that’s a dynamic duo with some soaring vocal prowess! Lea will be voicing Dorothy while Megan is China Princess, a doll who bands together with Dorothy to stop the evil Jester who wants control of Oz. While Megan mostly portrays sweethearts onscreen, I remembered her best in the indie horror flick “Bitter Feast”. As Peg, the sarcastic host of a cooking show, she was a constant thorn for her co-host chef, unaware that her constant mocking might just kick start his killing spree. Be it on stage, film, TV and now animation, Megan is an exceptional performer.

She entranced me in a big way as the sultry ball buster of a district attorney Jessica Devlin in “Shark”. The take no prisoners attitude and constant squabbling with her nemesis Sebastian Stark (a top-notch James Woods) made her exceedingly fascinating to watch…i couldn’t get enough especially when the seas From her Seven of Nine Trekkie days to her immaculate body of work on numerous hit shows, Jeri is deserving of the honor of being one of TV’s Baddest Babes. And on the subject of bodies, Jeri has quite the voluptuous one emphasizing why she’s celebrated as a Sex Symbol. As well as being Dr Kate Murphy on “Body of Proof”, returned as Sonya Blade in “Mortal Kombat Legacy” web series and is in the new season of Warehouse 13. With that naughty glint in her eyes, Jeri stirs our loins on such an appetizing level!

Even though I’m manic for Holland Roden because she’s one of the nicest actresses in this era, we shouldn’t forget to admire Crystal Reed who together with Holland are setting our pulses racing on “Teen Wolf”. Both are probably going to mesmerize at Comic Con seeing how they’re gracing the momentous convention. I’m betting wolf packs of rabid fans are lining up to keep an eye out for both these captivating young stars. “Teen Wolf” has taken the world by storm and even in Asia, it’s been the top trending topic on Twitter thanks to Crystal and Holland. Their onscreen personas as Allison Argent and Lydia Martin may be on polar opposites but it’s the uneasy ‘frenemy’ vibe between the two thats absorbing! Young Hollywood is looking mighty fine with these two ladies delivering an irresistibly foxy bite!

Sarah Wayne Callies in “The Walking Dead”

If ever that is an ideal woman to be fawned upon, Sarah Wayne Callies would always be a strong candidate as she’s highly fancied for her intoxicating comeliness. Season 2 of “The Walking Dead” can’t come soon enough as we eagerly await to follow her perilous journey in the zombie wasteland as Lori Grimes who shows true grit as a survivor. She did reveal that she hoped Lori gets to show her ugly side as the protector of her son and evolving into a matriach of sorts. Get ready for Sarah to enthrall even more if it really happens. Remembered fondly as Dr Sarah Tancredi from “Prison Break”, she’s noted for infusing her roles with a realistic experiential touch that’s riveting. We’ll be walking to the ends of the earth to get a chance to meet her, well actually we can as she’s on “The Walking Dead” Panel at Comic Con.

I may never have been part of this teen generation whose lives revolve around social media, self expression and of course celebrity worship but one can see they’re certainly becoming the apex of what’s cool. Hence you have Teen Idols who are quick to shape the entertainment world tapping on the desire of every teen out there. Enter Britt Robertson, the female lead of upcoming witch fest “The Secret Circle” who could very well be the next starlet that casts a magical spell on the youth of today. She of course plays Cassie Blake whose relocation to her mother’s hometown sparks off the discovery of powers beyond her comprehension. Already many have hailed her ability to handle the complexities of her roles notably as Lux Cassidy in “Life Unexpected” and she excels once more as Cassie, the teen destined for the witching hour.

Less than a week to go before Comic Con invades San Diego and the horror comedy anthology Chillerama is bound to be the talk of town. An ode to horror fans, it is the coming together of 4 brilliant minds of fear to offload their demented spin on the classic monster movies of yesteryear. Purveyor of bone-chilling tales, Adam Green has roped in Scream Queen Kristina Klebe and Colombian-born cutie LAURA ORTIZ to star in the segment “The Diary Of Anne Frankenstein”. It’s a black and white spoof that sees Adolf Hitler searching for the perfect killing machine to tip the balance of World War II in his favor! LAURA plays Margot Frank, elder sister of Anne Frank who together kept separate diaries recounting their experiences during the Holocaust. Expect less drama however as campy terror threatens to assault our minds so mark down the date July 22nd, Friday, the Sneak Preview of “Chillerama”. You’ve already seen LAURA’s debut as the memorable mutant girl Ruby from “The Hills Have Eyes” which she was nominated for a Fangoria Chainsaw award and became one of Fangoria Magazine’s Cover Girl. I say give her an award for Cutest Starlet on the Planet! Have you seen her on Sleeper Cell as Magdelena, the Mexican teen forced into prostitution? A solid performance from LAURA, encompassing first seduction and then revealing vulnerable layers of her character.
If her Lolita-like preciousness has us mesmerized, then her adorable voice will make anyone weak at the knees. No wonder she perfectly voiced the character “Pirahnica” on Disney’s animated series “Fish Hooks” and was the talkative cheerleader high on caffeine in the amusing 2007 T-Mobile Commercial (see above). According to a study by the late scientist David Feinberg, higher-pitched voices correspond with being highly attractive hence LAURA’s saccharine sweetness is definitely reeling in viewers hook, line and sinker…:) She once said Horror fans are the most loyal, passionate and fun people she’s ever met. As a fellow devotee I can say LAURA ORTIZ has done plenty to captivate our hearts.
