If ever there was an actress with a persuasive geniality, KRISTEN GUTOSKIE would be the sweetheart we would have no qualms showing her complete passion. When you switch your TV set on and tune in to the latest Season of “Republic Of Doyle”, her charismatic endearment is clear for all to see. Starring as spunky reporter Kyla MacRury, she ruffles Allan Hawco aka Jake’s feathers a wee bit and has her own agenda. In the episode “Multitasking”, even getting a bloody lip in a fisticuffs with a ‘Psychic’ baddie or so we are led to believe. Krystin Pellerin who plays stunning cop Leslie Bennett sure has some competition in the hottie stakes and being a huge fan of Canuck Talents, I certainly welcome the constant array of screen sirens. Especially when KRISTEN has also been eye-catching on fish out of water comedy series “Beaver Falls”. As camp counsellor Rachael who has a on again off again relationship with British import A-Rab, the many dramatic pitfalls between the two lovebirds make for fascinating viewing. I may be a little biased here but KRISTEN is a big reason why her character is so engrossing and appealing.
She does facilely radiates a lovely, winsome vibe that is to be admired. Just like the likable actress she played in the indie film “Moon Point” back in 2011, KRISTEN is herself sweet-natured, taking the time to acknowledge even fans like me who live in ASIA. Since I’m guessing you’re already into her, check out the various interviews she’s done on youtube and discover her genuine mellifluousness. It’s easy to adore KRISTEN when she’s this relishable…:)
ANDREA DEPAUL is one ravishing cutie we’ll be gushing about with vociferous passion. The olive toned actress of Portuguese and Guyanese descent is immensely appealing and if there’s an inclination towards her stunning facets, it would be so appropriate. She can be seen in “The Boy Who Smells Like Fish” at the Miami International Film Festival 2013 which has just kicked off. There’s some unique and heavenly faces in this dramedy namely Zoë Kravitz, Adriana Gil and of course ANDREA who each have their merits for such a quirky feature.
Here’s a snippet from ANDREA herself about “The Boy Who Smells Like Fish:
“This project was a project I really enjoyed working on. Its a Dark comedy that touches on the issues of what its like to be “different” and how society perceives the people who sometimes struggle with it. My character Denise has a nervous issue…. thats the best I can say without giving it away. The crew and cast were so lovely. The hired character actors and I learned a lot from them. The scenes are actually so funny that while we were shooting, the cast and crew would break out laughing and then we would have to reshoot it.”
ANDREA has also been prevalent on television, appearing in a number of hit shows such as “Beauty and The Beast”, “Covert Affairs” and “The Firm”. The camera absolutely loves ANDREA and there will be a succession of viewers quick to extol her attractively exotic traits.
Here’s more scoop from ANDREA on the work she’s done in all 3 shows:
“I live in Toronto, so working here is great, very convenient. Beauty and The Beast is the best set and cast to be on. As being part of an ensemble cast in this particular episode we were all so pleasantly surprised as to how well we got along while the cameras were not rolling. I was working directly with Kristen Kreuk, Nicole Anderson, Nicole Steinwendell and Rachel Skarsten. We had such great chemistry and we genuinely all liked each other I think that really worked to our benefit while we were shooting our scenes.”
“I really enjoy working on American productions because I get the opportunity to work with actors I wouldn’t normally get a chance to work with. Toronto has a small community of working actors. That means you often times work with the same people on different productions They bring in american actors to work on these US productions and I just benefit as an actor from working with them. When I did Covert Affairs I worked closely with Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes) and he was so lovely. He gave me some great advice and was so professional and courteous. Probably one of the nicest actors I have had the pleasure of working with.
“The most star struck I have been on set was working with Callum Keith Rennie on The Firm. I am a big fan of his work. So I was very nervous to work with him. He intuitively sensed that i was nervous so we rehearsed our material for 30 mins before we shot it. He was very kind.”
ANDREA has also worked on a web series called “Off 2 Kali” where she plays Sabrina in the episode called “I think I know you”. She’s ever so comfortable in the comedy genre and we can’t wait to see more. Being photogenic, she shot a series of pics with the Amazing Director/Photographer TJ Scott (from Spartacus). He is actually creating a coffee table book called “In The Tub” which will feature potraits of Actors/Singers/Artists with a common them of being “In the Tub” The book will be published late May and be available for purchase in stores in North America as well as online at Amazon. The profits of the book are being donated to Breast cancer research and ANDREA is very excited to be part of this charitable project. With her being visible on so many platforms, ANDREA is going to be sought after in no time!

I’m looking forward to getting her autograph which she has so kindly promised to send…:)
It’s time to rank Marguerite Insolia as one of the most desirable women in the world for she’s a force of captivation each time she appears onscreen. Marguerite can be immensely beguiling when she employs the Bostonian accent in the features she’s done, the teasing of the lilt with her lips is enough to affirm her lusciousness. This can be traced back to back in the day when at 18, she won the award for “Best National Commercial Print Model” signaling the start of emergence as the face to covet. Her name Marguerite already means ‘Pearl’ and she’s definitely shining on the indie scene. One of the stars of “The Whiskey Girls” which is directed by Amy Lyndon has been garnering awards at numerous festivals. Her turn as the neurotic Supatra who has issues when it comes to her beauty is appealing and entertaining. While the past few days have been super busy for me with the deluge of blogger events that have occupied a large part of my time, it’s great to be writing again about actresses worthy of mention.
In the thriller “The Muse”, she’s sexing up proceedings as the titular character who inspires a rock musician to re-capture the essence of what compelled him to write a hit song. Triggering such an awakening is something I’m sure Marguerite would easily do off camera as well for she has more than enough charms to be memorable. The MARGUERITE INSOLIA OFFICIAL SITE should get you excited about this rising starlet in the months ahead.
LAURA PERLOE has a mesmerizing radiance that has seen her receive the some of the highest of praises for her work in entertainment. Look out for her in “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World”, the Keira Knightley romantic comedy screening at the Los Angeles Film Fest 2012. There’s quite a few familiar names in the cast and it’s great to see LAURA being one of the gorgeous faces we find so desirable. In fact she’s excellent at subtly varying her voice, body language, and gestures when in character which would in turn resonates heartily with everyone that watches her. It’s these special qualities that we so often remember and as we discover LAURA’s appealing personality, we’ll be inclined to adore her.
Pay a visit to the LAURA PERLOE OFFICIAL SITE to read up on this upcoming starlet especially since she has a role opposite Kristen Bell in the stage adaptation of Neil LaBute’s play “Some Girl(s)”. It was in the theatrical scene that LAURA began catching the eye where according to a reviewer each moment she’s on stage is a pleasure. On that note, we’re in for a period of fascinating over her as this lovely gal flourishes in the arena of film.
Simone-Élise Girard in “The Weight Of Emptiness”
What better than to showcase the wonderful Simone-Élise Girard, star of “The Weight Of Emptiness” (Le Poids Du Vide) which is having its world premiere at TIFF 2011 on 12th September. She’s already given me a heads up on how intense the short film will be and the trailer (above) suggests an enigma well worth watching. One can tell it’s a bewildering allegory of the sometimes strained relationship between a mother and her child (Boy floats through the air while his mum struggles to keep him near). Simone herself is endowed with an endearing mystique that’s bound to add gravitas to the events that will unfold in the suspenseful tale. The amiable warmth of this French-Canadian Starlet is also another one of her many gifts which is always a crowd pleaser. Fall in love with this talent with the natural instincts to enchant.
Jessica Embro in “Good Boy”
She’s been called one of the most authentic performers on film and as as a fan/friend of Jessica Embro, I wholeheartedly agree. The raven-haired beauty does invest emotionally in many of the characters she plays although she’s more subdued in “Good Boy”. It’s a story of a golden retriever who starts to lose the lovable attention of his owners, what with a bundle of joy in the family due to arrive and jealousy starts to rage within the dog! I’m inclined to affectionately call Jessica the Short Film Darling having garnered attention for her work on “Measuring Tape Girl” and now with “Good Boy”. She’s also set to be a scene stealer in the upcoming “14 Minutes” as a soon to be hitched American woman who meets with a Canadian stranger on a road trip and ends up questioning the very idea of marriage. Infatuated with her yet…well you must in a hurry!
Noureen DeWulf in “Breakaway”
“Breakaway” is a Canadian film generating strong buzz with its upbeat Bollywood inspired musical set pieces, bouncy humor amidst culture clashes and blossoming romance in the confines of Hockey, Canada’s National Sport. It’s even bewitched Hollywood with Rob Lowe and Camille Belle making their presence felt alongside cameos by luminaries such as rapper Ludacris, Drake and Indian screen heartthrob Akshay Kumar. That’s all great but of course, red-blooded males can’t wait to watch the always luscious Miss Noureen DeWulf sizzle! Will the buxom actress get to shake her money maker in one of the many enjoyable dances? Having gone visceral as a burqa covered punk in “The Taqwacores”, Noureen is proving to be quite the impactful actress. Shattering the notion of being just a sexy, pretty face, she enthralls with ease.
Rebecca Hall in “The Awakening”
While there’s still no trailer for the post-war thriller “The Awakening”, the intriguing images of Rebecca Hall looking all flustered in the role of a skeptical ghost hunter alongside co-star Dominic West would be enough to entice viewers. The busy actress is expected to dazzle TIFF 2011, promoting this haunting tale of apparitions and a woman whose a staunch unbeliever of ghost stories until an event drastically alters her perception! Lauded as a thinking man’s Sex Symbol and for portraying brainy women often with a nervous energy, one can say she has an unconventional foxiness. Comfortable as a dowdy plain Jane or a sassy Femme Fatale on screen, she does have a cultured poise that’s downright quaint and appealing. So intimately stirring in “The Town”, she did win a TV BAFTA for her shocking performance in “Red Riding”, showing us how much of a multi-faceted actress she can be.
MyAnna Buring in “Kill List”
She was in two of my all-time favorite British films namely “The Descent” and “Doomsday”. It would have been three if the campy “Lesbian Vampire Killers” was regarded as a true horror movie…hehe. I’m refering to MyAnna Buring, the Swedish-born English Rose who is swiftly racking up them gritty roles. Her latest mystery “Kill List” however could rank as another gem as it opts for psychological terror, the kind that has people talking long after they’ve experienced the movie. Of course, rabid fans will get a helping of her as the “vegetarian” vamp Tanya of the Denali Clan, cousins of the Cullen Family in Breaking Dawn, the concluding double feature of the beloved saga that is “Twilight”. This delectable blonde with the cute dimple chin is rightly making a splash in Hollywood after memorable turns in lower-budget fare which she still continues to take on.
It’s been a while since a French temptress graced this blog so it’s with pleasure I give you the diving AMANDINE MAUGY. If you’ve manage to catch her in the short film “Le Hobby”, you’ll see how AMANDINE wields that power to seduce on film. She plays a prostitute who dives headlong into a sexual and emotional affair with a mortician, showing him there’s more to life than death. Her gorgeous, supple body laid bare as she’s in a steamy lovemaking scene (watch the NSFW clip above) that emphasizes an unbridled affair of the heart. She’s a tamer of men as once Carla Bruni aka Mrs Sarkozy remarked; showing the protagonist that without passion, one can never say they truly lived. One of AMANDINE’s most sexually-charged role to date yet manages to maintains a delicate femininity that’s highly appealing. The sexy freckles adorning her angelic face serves to make our eyes wander to the natural exquisiteness that heightens her wholesome beauty. One just has to visit the AMANDINE MAUGY OFFICIAL SITE and see the many photos she’s in, underlining her youthful French chic.
Besides her various acting and modeling gigs, she’s noted for gracing the Chanel Chance Perfume Commercial that harks back to a glamorous era and AMANDINE can be said to have timeless allure in this. She’s also been featured in a clutch of music videos often as the center of attention. While she may await her breakout role, this Parisian Cutie has done adequately to suggest there’s potential in her to rise to the top.
Cathy Baron in “Elfquest: A Fan Imagining”
With her divine features and ethereal radiance, Cathy Baron was born to portray a graceful Lady Elf. She’s perfect as Dewshine of the Wolfrider tribe, the free-spirited huntress in ElfQuest: A Fan Imagining inspired by the epic comic book series ElfQuest. The trailer(above) conceived by the creative double act of Stephanie Thorpe and Paula Rhodes has been a major hit with fans and gave us plenty of pointy-ear hotness. I can’t stress enough why she really needs to be referred lovingly as a living doll…she’s got me hypnotized be it in or out of Elven form…:) Web Vixen, Indie Horror Starlet, TV Siren and now Fantasy Babe, Cathy has got us fans under her appealing spell. The ElfQuest Panel at Comic Con should be one where many will congregate just to catch a glimpse of the comely beauty that is Cathy Baron.
Clare Grant/Rileah Vanderbilt from Team Unicorn
Clare Grant and Rileah Vanderbilt are the Delicious Duo that Nerds around the world fantasize about on a daily basis. The titillating twosome has undeniably taken Geek Chic to such Sexily Soaring Heights! From cosplaying as numerous characters to creating parodies on the realm of video games, comics, sci fi and fantasy, they’re rapidly gaining support for their spin on pop/geek culture. You certainly won’t want to miss their impressively amusing creation, “Alien Beach Crashers” (above). Retro Reefer Madness meets extraterrestrial mayhem in this enjoyable homage to Summer beach parties of the 60s. I say bring on more of Team Unicorn’s unique vision and humor especially the bikini babes or for that matter Sexy Geek Girls. With Clare and Rileah at the helm of Team Unicorn, it’s time to ride their waves of pleasure!
Sarah Michelle Gellar in “Ringer”
Despite her slasher spell (I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream 2) and experimental phase (Southland,The Air I Breath), there’s no denying Sarah Michelle Gellar is Pure Gold on TV. Her long awaited return to the small screen in “Ringer” promises to ignite once more our veneration for her which was sealed in the 8 years Sarah immortalized Buffy The Vampire Slayer. While there’s no vamps around town in her newest psychological drama, bloodsuckers of the human kind, specifically the mob are after her character Bridget Cafferty. Tackling the dual roles of twins, one an addict on the run, the other a wealthy socialite with a dark secret is utterly intriguing! There’ll be plenty twists and turns once the season gets underway as Sarah is on top form yet again. It’s as though Sarah never went away!
Carlee Baker in “Femme Fatales”
Femme Fatales Magazine recently christened the delectable Carlee Baker and Anya Monzikova as a Deadly Duo thanks to their salacious turn in the episode ‘Something Like Murder’. By now, you must have seen their lesbian loveplay (see video above) and should be wishing you were sandwiched between them somehow,someway..hehe. Wonder if Carlee has a preference for both genders but one thing’s for sure, she can arouse both guys and gals with her daring onscreen displays often in the nude. She has kindly informed me that she’ll be at Comic Con with about 20 other Femme Fatales signing autographs and wishes I could attend. That’s how highly she regards her fans even those from overseas and being such a temptation, she’s destined to be a Hot TV Vixen Of Summer.
Kristen Nedopak – Geek Goddess
Having told me that she’s going to be interviewing practically the whole cast of “The Vampire Diaries” at Comic Con 2011, it’s vital to include Kristen Nedopak in this Hot List. As sumptuous as every actor that’s appeared on “The Vampire Diaries”, Kristen certainly lives up to her tag of ‘Playfully Bright With Bite’. Especially since she’ll add some sauciness at Comic Con in the Metallic Bikini-like Costume (see pic above) that will have photogs snapping away…:) I wouldn’t be the least surprised if they hired her for Season 2 of “Game of Thrones”. Check her out recreating a Battle Scene from “Game of Thrones” on her new Academy Fight Class web series. This alluring hostess of Think Hero and Science Fiction with the undeniable lust for dreamboat Ian Somerhalder is a true maven on all things Geek!!
Skyler Samuels in “The Nine Lives Of Chloe King”
Emerging from the ashes of the canceled series “The Gates”, Skyler Samuels has come into her own and amazed the tween audience in “The Nine Lives Of Chloe King”. She’s the titular new breed of super heroine descended from Egyptian Goddesses whose awkwardness in discovering her powers is as endearing as her sharpened cat claws…I adore cats and a human/cat-like hybrid is so fascinating especially in the form of someone as adorable as Skyler. Throw in Heroes-like abilities, post-Twilight love triangle and a girl who is immortal until her 9 lives are exhausted; It’s a recipe for fascinating viewing every week and don’t forget Chloe has a poison kiss! Indeed Skyler is a kissable cutie and while still a she’s still a barely legal high schooler, the show rests on the very capable shoulders of this exciting young talent.
Reach out and Touch Faith or in my case, reach out and touch the actresses of the world. I’ve decided to established Monday of every week as ‘Rising Starlets’ Day in honor of the fresh faces that are making a play for your hearts and eyes. Sweetheart KATIE L. HALL is one such desirable young lady and she’s set to tickle your funny bone in her upcoming film “Act Naturally”, a comedy that delivers the fun of nudism Full Frontal…hehe. Let’s Strip!!!! With those magical words from “Act Naturally”, we’re in for a rollicking good time especially as KATIE is fabulous as Leah who together with her sister unexpectedly inherits a nudist resort. I love the joviality of the movie, imploring us to let it all hang out and despite the consternations we have with our own body image, inherent happiness is what really matters. Of course, not only have do we have the cast stripping down to their bare essentials, the production crew got into the act too and went au naturel…:) Don’t miss the awesome behind-the-scenes footage (above) as the female leads regale their on-set experiences being enveloped by carefree nudity, the thrill of wearing nothing and why “Act Naturally” is really not a Dirty Movie!! Actress/Comic KATIE L. HALL as you already know is delightfully adorable, Liz Lytle has a ballsy charm and there’s even Susan May Pratt, a beauty I haven’t seen since her rousing “Open Water 2: Adrift” days.
The Underground Dance Flick “Go For It” and Investigation Discovery’s suspenseful LORE: Deadly Obsession are two more of KATIE’s features in what is becoming a busy week for the cutie. Good Things always comes in waves and I’m happy that KATIE has taken the time to compliment me on my efforts to promote female entertainers. This is what she said: “The fact that you spread such love and support for actresses creates such an amazing ambiance in this entertainment field. There are certain people that work very hard to get where they are, and you’re such a kind soul for recognizing and bringing attention to that”. Such an attractive, generous and talented actress is deserving of all the success in the world and judging from her lovable quirkiness, she has the perfect potential to strike it big….:)
