We adore UK actresses for their regal beauty and posh accent to the max that the debut of MAUDE HIRST on “Vikings” will be met with exciting fervor. Having amassed an unprecedented rating of 8.3 million total viewers on just its first episode, “Vikings” is one show we should be keeping tabs on. While the interest has been on intriguing aspects of the life of Nordic conquerors, the women who are in it should be lauded too for being represented as equals with emphasis on their fortitude and guile. The debut of Maude Hirst on the History Channel as Helga, an addition to the “Vikings” storyline would add more feminine dynamism to what Katheryn Winnick (as Lagertha) and Jessalyn Gilsig (as Siggy) have already exemplified. There’s limited info on how her character Helga will be introduced in the upcoming episode “Raid”so it means we’ll just have to tune in on 31st March to find out!
MAUDE’s other prominent role was as Kat Ashley in “The Tudors”, the King Henry VIII of England scripted period drama which was a big hit for Showtime. She is after all the daughter of Michael Hirst, the series creator and the doe-eyed actress also has a celeb best friend who is none other than Julianne Hough of “Rock of Ages” and “Footlose” fame. As evident from MAUDE’s Twitter, they’re pretty close pals; Julianne stating in an interview that she stays with MAUDE whenever she’s in England. Isn’t it amazing how interconnected the world is! Bonds are being form all the time between actresses and fans like me who at least have an avenue to contact the lovely ladies of the screen. What will ring true is my eyes is going to be glued when the captivating Maude makes her mark on TV.

Intriguing and Captivating are sweet words to describe Southern Actresses and MELISSA LOWE has both facets on a highly appealing level. Her Southern accent to me has got to be one of the loveliest on the planet as is her ravishing figure which is immensely enticing. A fitness enthusiast & model on top of her acting career, she is a certified bikini hottie and her fabulous bod deserves endless infatuation. I’ve seen the modeling portfolio of Melissa and she absolutely sizzles in every photo. Furthermore, MELISSA’s support for me is so genial which in turn merits me championing her here.
While we already know she’s strikingly gorgeous, she did play that down in her role as Mrs. Potter in the indie horror flick “Lynch Mob”. Appearing as a dowdy mother figure is telling of her capability when it comes to handling a range of characters. The juicy news is she’s slated to be the lead female in Jason Winn’s (of The Fat Boy Chronicles) new film Boxes. Does sound like she’s on her way to becoming a star! My dad was stationed in Atlanta, Georgia when he was in the Air Force back in the day and I’m crossing my fingers that I could meet up with MELISSA one day…:)

It’s gratifying to be able to watch a trio of uniquely alluring Scream Queens in 1 movie, each having their brand of sexiness to entice a generation of fans. Stars of “The Black Dahlia Haunting which premiers at ShockFest 2012, Devanny Pinn, Jessica Cameron and Sarah Nicklin are as a group mighty appealing. As individuals, we will find them enticing! Devanny is the ‘Horror Barbie’ with a style that’s described as edgy. Jessica Cameron is a Canadian vixen whose is touted as a blossoming talent. Sarah Nicklin who is an indie darling is fondly remembered for her work in “The Disco Exorcist”. That’s 3 potential newsmakers!

Just heard Nicole Travolta has been nominated for Best Actress at ShockFest 2012 thanks to her riveting performance in “Orange County Hill Killers”. Certainly she’s in illustrious company alongside favorites Devanny Pinn and others who are also being featured right here. Nicole has to be doing something right since there’s growing recognition for her various appearances onscreen. She may be the niece of luminary John Travolta but this sweet brunette has made her own mark in the industry and has always been so down-to-earth. Having seen how Elizabeth Olsen wowed audiences in “Martha Marcy May Marlene”, it won’t be a surprise if Hannah Levien does likewise in another psychological drama about the influence of cults on people in “Children Of Sorrow”. As Ellen a woman who searches for answers after the disappearance of her sister, she delves headlong into what will become a dark journey to seek the truth. From the engrossing trailer, she’s channels a myriad of emotions which is pretty amazing. I’m a huge supporter of Australian talents and Hannah is proving her worth ever since her emergence in the US Market.

I’ve had the distinct pleasure of meeting one while the other I hope to meet someday. Jules Hartley who previously was a scene stealer in the HBO TV Series “Femme Fatales” has a supporting role in “Visible Scars”. I can say I was lucky to have met her on her stopover in Singapore during her trip across the globe and in person she’s every bit as captivating as she is on film. With Jillian Murray you know what you’re getting for she is a certified Sex Bomb. The leading lady of “Visible Scars” is a nominee for Sexiest Shockfest Sweetheart and she’s absolutely stunning. (I think we all remember her racy ways in the Wild Things: Foursome!)

Be it commercials or independent features, her looks will enthrall viewers without fail. What will fascinate further is her drive and ambition to make it big in an increasingly competitive entertainment biz. “The One That Got Away”, a quirky short about a serial killer who faces a conundrum when his prisoner escapes should be the platform for Emily to gain prominence. Jen Nikolaus is the hazel-eyed hottie with delectable curves who is making a name for herself in a series of Horror features. Don’t you adore actresses who can be cute and seductive at the same time, showcasing those very facets in the thrilling short “Nowhere Road” which re-invents the often seen slasher genre. Just when you thought things were straight-forward, Jen produces a twist in her role as the seemingly innocent Krin. In fact, her previous features such as “Caesar and Otto’s Summer Camp Massacre” as well “The Victorville Massacre” has highlighted how we can’t get enough of her mesmerizing personality.

It’s been a while since I’ve given plaudits towards a British/Irish sweetheart and Rosie Fellner has a graceful magnetism certain to make us smile. Hearing how she loves being part of telling great stories is why she’s often regarded as being compelling onscreen. Rosie’s appearance in the thriller “Two Jacks” opposite Sienna Miller and Danny Huston should give ample time to digest her beguiling versatility and guess what she actually plays Lily, an American in the film. Having seen pics of Rosie on the set of “Two Jacks”, she has a seductive edge, adding to the allure she can so easily depict so Rosie’s got my vote…:)

Hannah Levien is in a string of interesting features which will have steadily see her becoming prominent in the eyes of viewers. She has a starring role in “The Devout”, a grim short set during the plague-filled years when the Black Death caused pestilence around the world. Her wonderfully emotive performance as Emery, one of 2 saviors whom a medieval English village turn to after long besieged by a creature. Putting herself in conflict with her preacher brother, it’s science vs the word of god to provide much-needed redemption. She’s yet another wonderful talent from Australia and one with lots of enchanting presence.

Her gift for playing a myriad of female personas is definitely worthy of adoration. While she is regularly seen on TV either in hit shows or as a host on several programs, she’s been entertaining in indie features as well. In “Thriftstore Cowboy”, a gritty cowboy flick she’s Trish Shelton, a southern bartender who is seemingly down on her luck but there’s a tough streak underneath that gets her through the day. It’s got a great ensemble of characters and Kinga has the foxy appeal to instill a wave of excitement. With her capacity to take on strong roles with a semblance of fragility, Kinga is going to be intently watched and desired.

While we are deprived of a trailer for “Lost Purpose” where both are in supporting roles, both America and Alyshia are dazzling our world on a number of platforms. Alyshia was the beautiful ‘Woman In White’ on the popular soap “General Hospital” while America is intriguing the web domain with her fun series “Geek Therapy”. There’s surely one word that best represents these two talented ladies whose names start with “A” and that is Amazing…:)

The extremely photogenic NADINE NICOLE HEIMANN has one of those faces that’s fascinating on so many levels. Her mixed ethnicity has given rise to the fact that NADINE is truly an exotic hottie. From her hazel eyes to her olive skin, we readily identify her as someone who has so many captivating qualities. She did however go against the grain in the drama “Paradise broken” as a one-time hula dancer turned prostitute and self-proclaimed photographer. The downward spiral from attractive woman to drug addict was excellently depicted by NADINE, ably filling the shoes of such a tortured persona.

JILL WAGNER is the super hot hostess and actress whose breathtaking sauciness has conquered both the big and small screen. Recognized as the face of “Wipeout”, she’s probably the reason we’re glued to our TV sets over the years. If you’re hungry like a wolf for JILL that’s because she portrayed wild and wacky Kate Argent on “Teen Wolf”. She happens to be a werewolf hunter and was so captivating that fans were wishing they had a hot aunt like JILL. One can almost be led to believe she gives off a certain whiff of pheromones to trigger such fascination.
