Yet again another hottie in the ethereal form of ELINOR CRAWLEY makes her maiden appearance on “Vikings” and she does have comely features many will take a liking to. ELINOR plays Thyri, the daughter of Earl Haraldson (Gabriel Byrne), a high-ranking and ruthless Viking leader who is at odds with ambitious Ragnar Lothbrok. We soon learn Thryi is betrothed to a man old enough to be her grandfather! Expect ELINOR to become a regular on “Vikings” and she’s also about to dazzle in another costume drama series called “The White Queen” only this time as a princess in feudal England. Women are this time the centerpiece as these are episodic tales of their quest for power….mighty interesting indeed!
ELINOR does have a delectable adorableness and having indicated both her interest to be featured as well as the greatness of my blog, I can only advocate her pleasantly affable attributes. She may not have been the first Welsh actress to be lauded here (she’s from Cardiff) but rest assured she can take our breath away with her angelic cuteness. While the first few episodes of “Vikings” herald the showcase of Canadian Vixens, the next few will see the emergence of actresdes from the UK who should soon get their set of devoted fans. ELINOR looks best placed to blossom into a TV Sweetheart.

We adore UK actresses for their regal beauty and posh accent to the max that the debut of MAUDE HIRST on “Vikings” will be met with exciting fervor. Having amassed an unprecedented rating of 8.3 million total viewers on just its first episode, “Vikings” is one show we should be keeping tabs on. While the interest has been on intriguing aspects of the life of Nordic conquerors, the women who are in it should be lauded too for being represented as equals with emphasis on their fortitude and guile. The debut of Maude Hirst on the History Channel as Helga, an addition to the “Vikings” storyline would add more feminine dynamism to what Katheryn Winnick (as Lagertha) and Jessalyn Gilsig (as Siggy) have already exemplified. There’s limited info on how her character Helga will be introduced in the upcoming episode “Raid”so it means we’ll just have to tune in on 31st March to find out!
MAUDE’s other prominent role was as Kat Ashley in “The Tudors”, the King Henry VIII of England scripted period drama which was a big hit for Showtime. She is after all the daughter of Michael Hirst, the series creator and the doe-eyed actress also has a celeb best friend who is none other than Julianne Hough of “Rock of Ages” and “Footlose” fame. As evident from MAUDE’s Twitter, they’re pretty close pals; Julianne stating in an interview that she stays with MAUDE whenever she’s in England. Isn’t it amazing how interconnected the world is! Bonds are being form all the time between actresses and fans like me who at least have an avenue to contact the lovely ladies of the screen. What will ring true is my eyes is going to be glued when the captivating Maude makes her mark on TV.

There’s no better way to appreciate the women of indie cinema by showing outright adulation and CRYSTAL RIVERS is a promising talent with a mesmeric appeal. With the release of her film “Ghoul” on the Chiller Network, we’re going to have our craving for horror satiated yet again with this creature feature. Inevitably her character Karen Moore falls victim to the terror in the woods and from the excerpts taken from “Ghoul” (above), CRYSTAL can certainly be regarded as a future Scream Queen. She has revealed that she’s often been cast as someone who gets preyed on but that’s not to say she’s bounded to one specific genre! Especially since she’s attracting fanboys as a recurring super hero character on the web series “Heroine Legends” and also filming the intriguing feature called “Awesome Girl Gang Street Fighter”. Expect her to nab some roles that will give her the license to captivate even more!
CRYSTAL’s natural glow can be seen on 3 platforms namely online, film and television with SyFy’s channel “Miami Magma” being another movie she’s making a splash in, there’s going to be a spell of infatuation coming her way. Having read an interview she gave, CRYSTAL has a positivity which is becoming key to her success as a upcoming talent to keep adoring tabs on. CRYSTAL does have plans to explore the darker psyche of characters and when that comes to fruition, she’ll be leaving us enthused over her.

Destined to make a big impact, I’m already in love with BRAND ASHTON LEIGH especially when she acknowledged me as being the sweetest…:) If you’re tuned in to the SyFy Channel, she’s a sizzler as the character Tish in “American Horror House”. This supernatural flick which also stars iconic blonde Morgan Fairchild sees gorgeous pledges learning the insidious truth about their sorority house. As the bitchy Tish, ASHTON effortlessly portrayed the nasty side which of course will come back to haunt her. Let’s just say there’s a brutal comeuppance of the bloody variety! One has to be mindful of the level of attractiveness ASHTON exudes, her exotic features (an alluring mix of Caucasian, Native American, and Mediterranean) is something we don’t mind obsessing over.

A true beauty in every sense of the word, Elaine continues to be at the forefront of fascination on celluloid as well as on the social activism front. In the TV Movie “Anything But Christmas”, she stars as Grace who is head over heels in love with Christmas and polar opposite to her holiday-phobic love interest John. The question is will their love endure? Touted as one of the best romantic Christmas-themed films of 2012, “Hitched For The Holidays” would most certainly be highly watchable and for the fact Lisa Durupt is making an appearance on it. I only just got in contact with Lisa this year and was pleasantly surprised that she’s famed for her work on the quirky series “Less Than Kind” as the lively Shandra. She’s a prime example of why I adore Canadian talents as their attractive qualities go beyond the boundaries of beauty. Lisa has substantiated her ability to be irresistible in comedic roles with a reviewer comparing her to Kristen Bell. From this point forth, she can only get more enthralling!

Beguilingly adorable is the essence of rising starlet KAYLA MAE MALONEY and her personable charm has a worldwide appeal. When there’s a host of lovelies such as Miss KAYLA grabbing our attention, Television has indeed become the gift that keeps on giving. She is currently guest starring as Dr Miranda Buckley on Season 3 of “The Glades” and is turning into the thorn in Callie’s (Kiele Sanchez) side. The beef between the two looks to be heading to an unavoidable conflict and as Miranda, KAYLA shines as the icy doctor. Hers is a truthful performance and we can’t wait to see if all the pent-up resentment of her character boils over in upcoming episodes, which happens to screen tomorrow, the first week of July 2012.
