Stars of tomorrow are certainly emerging at CANNES and MISTY UPHAM is one who is on song to steal our hearts with a series of upcoming roles. Most significant of all, she will be at CANNES walking down the red carpet with leading man Benicio Del Toro for the premiere of “Jimmy P”. Buzz is swirling around for this film that deals with loss from a Native American perspective and surely eyes are on MISTY who in the press photos can be seen in scenes with Benicio. Apparently MISTY’s character JANE has a romantic liaison with Benicio’s Jimmy P which will be talked about by many. In fact, she has been a scene stealer before in the critically acclaimed hit “Frozen River” alongside Melissa Leo and it would be fitting if she garnered the plaudits this time around. Having been nominated for best supporting actress at the Independent Spirit Awards for embodying Lila Littlewolf in “Frozen River”.
As Lila the widowed Mohawak mum looking to reclaim her son from the mother-in-law while smuggling immigrants, MISTY was a revelation and showcased how great she is at delivering on conflicting emotions. She was able to sustain the attention of audiences who must have been fascinated with the multi-layered role MISTY so successfully made believable. Slated to star with the legendary Meryl Streep in “August: Osage County,” a dark comedy based on a play, things are looking very rosy indeed. It’s a key role for MISTY as Johnna Monevata, a Cheyenne woman hired as a live-in housekeeper by the Weston family whom has demanding matriarch Violet Weston of course played by Meryl Streep. So start admiring this most graceful Native American talent certain to make waves the world over!
Hot Comedienne: Marieve Herington

Cute redhead MARIEVE HERINGTON is a pleasure to watch and she’s so likable, it’s conceivable that viewers would be gravitating towards her. I have to admit that I’m blessed to be surrounded by pleasantly charming women such as the ebullient MARIEVE who regularly keep me in the loop on the happenings in the industry, notably the goings-on in her career thus far. You may have seen her guest-starring on hits “How I Met Your Mother” and “Good Luck Charlie”, catching the eye ever since. On May 5th 2013, MARIEVE returns to “Good Luck Charlie” as Winnie who becomes a friend and cooking partner with leading man PJ Duncan (Jason Dolley) after crossing paths at a cooking school. With the Disney show going into its 4th and final season yet being adored by the masses, it should go a long way in elevating Canadian-born MARIEVE as a burgeoning talent.
This also means a visit to the MARIEVE HERINGTON OFFICIAL SITE is in order. Wow i just discovered she also answers fan questions on her FACEBOOK PAGE which means she’ll be able to dish a little gossip on her successes. Besides the screen, MARIEVE has also been a voice-over maven for several animated features; recently as the Hyrax on Fox’s hit “Ice Age: Continental Drift.” She also fronts Jazz act “The Marieve Herington Band” and her immaculate vocals shine every time she performs. Call her the Perky Priestess of Entertainment for she’s about to enchant us in 2013 and beyond.

LILAN BOWDEN is undeniably cute with the Capital “C” and has that lovably, infectious appeal warranting praise from everyone who’s in contact with her. There’s an endearing quirkiness about her and it’s so enamoring, I’m in awe of her pixie daintiness. While she’s done her fair share of improv, LILAN is steadily blossoming on the independent arena. Because of the number of zombie flicks that LILAN has starred in, I think it’s time she should be cast on “The Walking Dead”. Besides the SyFy feature “Zombie Apocalypse” which she starred with Taryn Manning, she also dazzled in “Nazis at the Center of the Earth” and “Rise Of The Zombies”. In “Zombie Apocalypse”, she played Myrah, an archer with a penchant for shooting zombies which I’m betting was tons of fun to embody.
Many are also commenting she’s due for a big role soon and LILAN will be so very memorable when it happens! It’s incredible to see just how much sweetness is etched on her gorgeous face, a selling point of hers among the many talents she already has. LILAN does remind us a great deal of Rachel Bilson, the similarly sexy grin tellingly exhibited by LILAN is captivatingly precious. We dudes don’t know how lucky we are when we are able to celebrate the comely ingénue that is Miss LILAN BOWDEN…:)
Blonde Bombshell: Murisa Harba

Inexhaustible praise can be conferred on actress MURISA HARBA for she’s drop dead gorgeous from head to toe. Seeing how a blonde namely Gwyneth Paltrow has been lauded as the most beautiful woman by People Magazine, it’s a given to feature MURISA who herself is just so heavenly. Check out her latest REEL where she absolutely enchants from the first till the last frame. The Jamie Kennedy comedy “Lost and Found In Armenia” was the film where she had her eye-catching moments as her reel will confirm. Her Eastern European roots makes her gloriously classy and she comes off as naturally approachable too. As her appearance in the Kyle Puccia music video “Broken People” (above), MURISA can touch the hearts of viewers in other ways too. Heart-wrenchingly magnetic in the video, I’m sure many will agree she has an endearing and divine appeal.
A peek at the MURISA HARBA OFFICIAL SITE will reveal MURISA is also an accomplished dancer. Give her a latin beat and she’ll heat up the dancefloor in no time! She does have the va-va-voom figure which accentuates the foxy facets she’s endowed. KELLY KEMP has one of the most interesting faces ever seen onscreen, enough to suggest she’s well on her way to be thoroughly inviting for our eyes. In “Casting Couch”, KELLY may project a different kind of hotness but she’s dazzling in her own comely way. The laugh-out-loud comedy does have its bevy of stunners (Mayra Leal, Mindy Robinson, Nikki BreAnne Wells and so forth) yet you sense KELLY will be appealing to viewers as her perkiness as casting director Katie is amiably engaging. It’s no surprise that KELLY is part of the cast which has been identified as delightful up and comers. Being cute does have its perks and KELLY will leave us in no doubt of her glowingly sweet demeanor. For most, she certainly tickles our fancy, a combo of delectable vivacity and earnest sparkle makes her a genuine honey. Her meaty part in “Casting Couch” does allow her the opportunity to flaunt the lovely radiance that she has…:)
She’s also been busy on the digital front, starring in “Gossip Boy”, touted to be one of the best online gay-themed series to hit the web. In my book, she can easily melt a guy’s heart and has the cherubic beauty to keep us trained on her. I would love to see her in a flirty role one day! More and more a woman’s badge of acceptance hinges on her level of cuteness and indelibly Miss Kelly Kemp has her very own assets for audiences to extol.

Beauty and brains can be an enchanting combo especially when alluding to delectable enchanter ASHLEY AVIS. This talented gal has been in the industry as an actress, model and writer/producer, each time creating works that aim to stir the hearts of audiences. A look at her concept trailer “Watch Me” aka “Guardian” which deals with horrifying sexual trauma is so poignant, especially this year with violence against women so rampant worldwide; the rapes in India for example creating such notoriety. Just the boldness of ASHLEY to delve in this darkest of themes should be applauded, an eye-opener to the endless suffering of victims. She is an evocative actress, transitioning between emotions effortlessly and it’s not always the grim aspects of features that she excels. Give her a witty role such as the one in “The Cynical Life of Harper Hall” where as the main character, she relates her horrifying dating experiences in LA which for many is a bitter reality. Even Talk-show host Craig Ferguson has admitted it’s hard to find decent men in LA and we too can be downright sardonic to realize that…lol.
ASHLEY’s accomplishments also include starting the production company ALCHEMY PICTURES which is churning out some intriguing independent projects that cover everything from comedy to horror. I’m already amazed by how proficient ASHLEY is at juggling a multitude of tasks! Head over to the ASHLEY AVIS OFFICIAL SITE and be wowed by this fetching hottie. She can also be seen in the spoof-heavy creepy comedy “Paranormal Movie” which is out on DVD and on ITUNES. Sizzling Cutie: Buffy Charlet

It’s awesome to highlight actresses doing the film festival rounds and the charismatic BUFFY CHARLET is in line for recognition from fans. Due to the fast-paced fluidity of SXSW 2013, I couldn’t get insider news from BUFFY in time for this article but having connected with her is already amazing in itself. After all, she’s appearing in the riveting thriller “Holy Ghost People” as Liz, the woman who becomes the enigma of the story as the world of Snake-Handlers of Southern Appalachia and those from the outside converge. Having vanished mysteriously, her sister Charlotte decides to infiltrate the religious commune only to discover a darkness she would never see coming. BUFFY re-unites once more with Joe Egender, her co-star from indie comedy “Lurking in Suburbia” and moves into a different territory as opposed to her comedic parts in the past. At this year’s SXSW, we’ve seen Jane Levy of “Suburgatory” fame who moved effortlessly into horror with the R-rated “Evil Dead” and the genre bending continues with the talented BUFFY.
“The Buffies” is her successful web series with fellow actress Caroline “Buffy” Rich who has sizzled up this blog before. Their “Cum-N-Go” skit on the wonders of having sperm readily available without the need for men is hilarious so check the video out (above). BUFFY is endearingly good when it comes to the funnier side of life and with her venturing into contrasting roles, this could be the time for her big break.

To be desired and loved is justifiable especially when it’s KRISTINA KRUZ accomplishing the feat of mesmerizing us. Being addicted to “Californication” transpires because of the foxiest women on television and KRISTINA exhibits a radiance that’s enticing. Check her out in the episode “In The Clouds”, as she gives a show for Hank Moody (David Duchovny) with a girl on girl kiss on Air Force 69. Leaving us on a high from the very start is courtesy of the beautiful KRISTINA and that’s even before Maggie Grace appears. It’s great to see her tantalizing lips on fellow actress Elizabeth Nicole (whom I’ve featured before) and while it’s a dream for Hank to be around attractive women, it must also mean KRISTINA is a Dream Girl! If only we each had a private jet to call our own and a sexy stewardess in the comely form of KRISTINA. There’s part Latin Vixen and part petite cuteness that makes her compelling, a head turner to be cherished.
Her goal has always been to inspire people through her onscreen sojourn and she’s actively working on honing her craft every single day. This cutie has appeared on hit shows “Hung”, “Greek” & “The Middle” as well as various short films. Comedy is her forte, having excelled in stand up, performing at venues such as The Improv and Comedy Store. KRISTINA evokes good vibes and her expressively angelic face will translate to an unabashed fascination.
