Dance With Films never fails to unveil up and coming actresses with JENNI MELEAR being yet another apple of our eyes. She’s the leading lady of the refreshing dramedy “Dead Dad”, a must see if you’re an indie addict! Taking a new approach to the idea of a dysfunctional family, this is a tale of 3 siblings trying to find a common bond after the passing of their dad. As the confused and resentful younger sister Jane Sawtelle, JENNI credibly accomplishes every emotional tinge from initial realization to the desire of a perfect farewell for a father figure. JENNI’s perfect chemistry with her cast mates has added to the authenticity of the film, the solid acting of each one key to the essence of the story.

I may have missed out on her red carpet appearance but one can make out that she’s exquisite in an angelic kind of way. Intriguing women of horror have always been sought after and TRACY TEAGUE has played her part in fascinating us in 2 films. Last year’s “Respire”, the soul transference thriller had TRACY as a woman with a fatal disease who discovers a chest with a mysterious content capable of curing her. Eventually, it’s revealed there is someone’s breath in the chest which if inhaled can magically heal anyone. The only downside is you gain the person’s personality, his or her bad traits may just come to haunt you! TRACY admirably deals with her character’s conflicted psyche, from dealing with her debilitating condition to the euphoria of learning she can actually overcome her sickness. With a plot this unique and an exquisite leading lady, it’s a recommended watch for any viewer. She continued her duel with mortality in “The Haunting Of Pearson Place” as Gwen, one-half of a couple acquiring a house with some dark history. Always ensure a thorough background check on a property before you purchase for it could become a ‘GRAVE’ mistake as the couple soon find out. If there’s one common thread in both of TRACY’s movies is how immaculate she is in all her scenes.
The perfect representation of a living doll, I can say with certainty how elegant she is in person too. Whether she’s clad in a bikini or in glamorous wear, TRACY captivates from head to toe. Make sure you grab them DVDs of both her films for she’s already been talked about as a rising Scream Queen with one reviewer calling her the next Linnea Quigley. Now there’s some big shoes to fill yet TRACY’s onscreen dynamism can only lead to eventual success. She sees herself as a work in progress and as she evolves, we are in for quite a treat from this standout performer.

It’s because of founder Robert Redford and the continuous success of this prestigious event that has enabled us to glimpse the global foxiness of screens sirens. This year’s edition runs from January 19th to 29th at Park City, Utah and “Simon Killer”, a mystery revolving around a college graduate’s chance encounter with a young prostitute on the streets of Paris sees LILA in a supporting role. There’s sexual undercurrents in this tale of hidden secrets weaved by the masterful Antonio Campos and for some may remind us of Brando’s “Last Tango in Paris”. This actress/model is a fixture on red carpets, gracing last year’s Cannes as a fashion forward stunner. If ever they did a French version of “My Week With Marilyn”, LILA would be perfect as the Blonde Icon, not taking anything away from the brilliance of Michelle Williams. Being also regarded as versatile gives LILA a distinct advantage.
Stumbling upon the scene of her stimulating a guy in the surrealistic TV series “Xanadu” (watch the video above), it’s obvious she’s has no qualms in the edgy sensuality stakes. As Clare, a ditzy model / actress who flirts with the other main character (Michael A. Newcomer) at a party, getting into a scary situation in this indie thriller. Recently she was in a play called One Night Stands, a raunchy sex comedy at the Avery Schreiber Theatre in North Hollywood and is returning for another play in the NoHo Arts District. Was there any other stimulating all-girl car wash scene in a horror flick this year than the one in “Bikini Girls On Ice”…ok i just saw The House Bunny on TV with Anna Farris getting wet and wild on top of warm engines but that surely doesn’t qualify right! Newcomer Danielle Doetsch on the other hand is a standout and not just because she’s dolled up in her sensual purple two-piece. While “Bikini Girls On Ice” is a slasher bereft of the on screen gore one might expect, it’s her enigmatic chemistry with fellow actress Cindel Chartrand (the two play best friends) that showcases her credibility as a blossoming prospect. Watch Danielle in her newest short “Here Goes Nothing” as an object of affection. Inviting yet always absorbing, she’s the young lady we all should have a crush on.
