When the freshest faces of the film world are so often discovered, it’s because they excel in truthful performances and RACHEL QUINN did ever so admirably in “Megan Is Missing”. The dramatic thriller hits closer to home with its painfully realistic tale of the dangers lurking on the web as Megan, a sexually adventurous 14- year old gets abducted. As the jailbait Megan, RACHEL thrives on the wild side of her character who even confesses to giving her first blowjob at the age of ten! It’s the case of girls trying to grow up too fast, as a result careering straight into trouble as her seemingly innocent dalliances on the web cam turned to tragedy. Precocious teenage girls seem to attract the most undesirable elements and they’ve been depicted onscreen for quite some time. Think Dominique Swain, as the personification of youthful temptation of a grandpa in the remake of “Lolita” as was Ellen Page in “Hard Candy” although that film became harrowing in a hurry for the the horny paedophile. This time round, RACHEL culls that authenticity of a sexualized teen, revealing a promiscuity that would frighten the living hell our of parents. Having done theatre for years, the social networking cautionary tale “Megan Is Missing” was her debut film feature and from the oft, she’s been impressive, auguring well for her future ahead. You can catch her in the short film “Kaka Nirvana” (above) as a Hollywood type on a sometimes warped road of salvation after being dumped by her lover. Gravitating towards these dark roles means drawing on a tide of emotions and RACHEL has the wherewithal to convey them. Texan actress/model ELLE LAMONT is completely breathtaking when she pulls of the Classic Hollywood Look and there’s a bombshell quality about her that would make anyone swoon. Seeing her sizzle in the red bikini (above) reminds me of the memorable pool scene in “Fast Times At Ridgemont High” where Phoebe Cates titillated a generation of impressionable youth. If they ever remade that definitive teen movie, I reckon ELLE has to be a top candidate to reprise Phoebe’s role as the foxy Linda Barrett. Certainly an appearance in a sex comedy would be a departure from the troubled souls she’s been depicting thus far. She went to the extreme as a drug-addled mother seeking revenge on vampires who took the life of her son in “The Devil’s Gravestone. Excellently shouldering the darkness enveloping her character Jaq, ELLE is both beautiful and a tower of strength in spite of her loss as she embarks on her bitter vengeance. Recently she was part of the cast that was awarded “Best Cast Ensemble” Award at the Best Actors Film Festival in San Francisco for their sterling work on thriller “Strings”. Shining yet again as a wife of a perturbed musician whose life turns awry when he seeks experimental help to turn his life around, she conveyed such tenderness, moving audiences at a screening to tears.

ELLE LAMONT is a former Miss Texas USA pageant contestant as well as a Texas Bikini Team National Finalist, hence ELLE’s alluring photos are a must see at her Model Mayhem Page. The gorgeous olive-skinned features of this brown-eyed actress does mean she has an exoticness that has allowed her to be cast as either a Caucasian, Hispanic, Italian, Greek or Native American. She may be the new kid on the block in the popular web series “Anyone But Me” but in Season 3, MARISSA SKELL is in the illustrious company of Digital Vixens such as Rachael Hip-Flores and Nicole Pacent. MARISSA is one yummy starlet with fans of the series be it on Hulu, Youtube and pretty much everywhere on the net acknowledging her hotness. The best part is we get to enjoy the sumptuous blonde anytime, anywhere 24/7 and that is essential especially since our lives can get a little busy. Tapping on the shift in social norms in the US as we as people are beginning to accept our gay bethren. After all aren’t we all children of the world…do we not bleed when we are cut? “Anyone But Me” has a huge following precisely because it’s a celebration of young love and that life is not about fitting into what society wants us to be. MARISSA portrays Carey, the new love interest of street smart Aster played beautifully by Nicole Pacent. Carey is the artistic soul that provides much needed comfort to Aster’s love troubles and becomes the yin to Aster’s yang. Obviously we’ll get our dose of girl-on-girl kissing scenes and the chemistry between MARISSA and Nicole are intimately spot on when they’re in the throes of passion. One of MARISSA’s grittiest performances came in the episode of “Criminal Minds” as a victim of torture by electrocution dished out by the insane son of notorious serial killer “The Butcher”. She had me gripped in such an unnerving way, I’m bound to praise her dramatic chops. Previously, she had impressively fleshed out a similar state of duress in another scene from “The Mentalist”. She’s come a long since her reality TV days on “Scream Queens”, developing into a coveted, multi-genre talent. She’s proven that hard work and honing your craft in the business does indeed pay off! Oh and don’t forget her pleasant personality that’s so infectious to a fan like me. Quirky Saucy: Michelle Luchese

It’s never an easy thing when you’re a one-man-army actress lover like myself who has to have fingers on the pulse of entertainment news at all times. Then comes cherubic cutie MICHELLE LUCHESE to my rescue by pointing out that she’s letting blood flow on “TRUE BLOOD” in the episode “If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin’?”. Well actually, she’s playing a young woman whose part of a viral video team filming vamps in action and sacrificing her neck in the hopes of fame. Check out her reel (above) for that very scene where even in Bon Temps, Louisiana, you can be the next Youtube star! MICHELLE gets to delivered the punch line at the end…What A Sweet Deal! Vampires are indeed taking over the internet so thumbs up to MICHELLE for having a say or should I say sticking out her neck for them (hers is luscious by the way)…can you imagine the Youtube segment she did on the red-hot “True Blood” is now on the authentic Youtube and should be gaining hits as we speak! Expect the cash registers to ring as more offers pour in for MICHELLE…hehe. Could MICHELLE be the newest princess of cool ala Lauren Ambrose? She however likens herself to be a mixture of Lauren plus a few more non-conformist indie actresses.

Rising Starlet: Jessica Whitaker

Ever since Katie Holmes embodied the quintessential girl next door Joey in “Dawson’s Creek”, we’ve always held an undying fascination for cuteness and actress JESSICA WHITAKER radiates with a similar purity. Just like Katie, Jessica also hails from the state of Ohio…indeed they both have gorgeous genes! That doesn’t mean she can’t turn on the sexiness once in a while as she did belly-dancing (above) in the horror romp “Killjoy 3″. JESSICA plays Sandy who gets plunged into the world of the demonic clown-faced Killjoy and has to save her skin by means of seduction. One can see JESSICA had fun sashaying her flawless body and for me the most memorably amusing part was when as Sandy, she revealed to Killjoy that she’s a virgin hence sealing the tempting act. Check out the behind the scenes video (also above) of that “love-making” scene plus interview snippets with the lovely JESSICA. She’s an absolute sweetheart and interestingly enough, everything was filmed in China. Harking back to the good old days when horror didn’t take itself too seriously or populated with emo kids and having JESSICA as the heroine was wonderfully apt! She’s massively easy on the eyes and I love that she’s allowed the license to be playful.

JESSICA does traverse the horror route once more in suspense thriller “The Guest” which was an official selection at several festivals last year and stars Alyshia Ochse (i’m doing up a feature on her soon too). She’s also in a series of dramatic shorts, one of which is “Grass Is In Never Greener”. So fetchingly serene, it’s easy to get ourselves infatuated with her. In the prosperous arena of independent films, keep a watchful eye on the beautiful JESSICA WHITAKER whose flourishing talents are not too be missed.

Latin Vixen: Yeniffer Behrens

When one speaks of The Sexiest Women Of The World, one has to talk about the very beguiling YENIFFER BEHRENS in the same breath. Or in my case put the reverence for this Venezuelan-born Stunner down in words. This week, it has been so gratifying featuring a Bevy of Hispanic Cuties and continuing the Hottie Trend, it’s time to turn our attention on the delectable YENIFFER. Known for steaming up the soap opera “General Hospital” as Marianna, she was Ric Lansing’s love interest who somewhat tempers his revenge-seeking ways. The soap star then took the indie route, depicting a spicy energy in numerous films such as “Hollywood Whores” and “Frozen Kiss” and in recently released thriller “Decisions”, showcased her dramatic chops as Serena, a woman on the wrong side of the law. This was the very last film of the late Corey Haim and was a poignant reminder of how people can leave us at the most unlikely of times but their spirit remains. I’m eagerly awaiting for the DVD release of “Decisions” on August 15th as it has YENIFFER in a fascinatingly edgy performance which i gathered from watching the trailer (above). If you think she’s eye-catching, wait till you see her at a premiere or an event if you ever had the chance…the photos proving she’s an Illuminating Siren, the genuine article…:) There’s also that unmissable detail of Miss YENIFFER and her voluptuous curves that has so many calling her ‘Chica Bonita’. Latina Heat is turned all the way up this Summer and YENIFFER is most certainly taking us on a journey we want to be part of. Besides her movie appearances, she previously guest starred in several popular TV Shows such as CSI and Nip/Tuck. She even became the focal point throughout a whole episode of TV Series “In Plain Sight” playing Reina Alfara, a nurse from El Salvador facing deportation unless she is given a green card in exchange for her testimony. Don’t you worry, YENIFFER has plenty of intoxicating appeal to carry a feature on her shoulders if need be and it’s great to see her driving the plot. Look out for her in the upcoming snuff film horror of “Unknowns”. I haven’t seen her in a slasher before but that’s going to be a huge thrill! Often described as the Girl with the Captivating Smile and heaped regularly with positive praises for her onscreen endeavors, she’s leaving an impression that will last a lifetime.
