Hot TV Vixens Of Summer Part 4

Courtney Halverson in “Death Valley”

 alt=  alt=

Whenever an actress utters “SLUT” on camera, it’s always priceless and vivacious Courtney Halverson does it ever so brilliantly on upcoming series “Death Valley”. We’ve seen it all before; vamps,werewolves and zombies biting for screen time (Dylan Dog comes to mind) yet MTV is hoping fans come on board in droves for its reality TV-like grit involving an Undead Task Force, pop culture humor and of course the bevy of hotties…:) Renowned for her dramatic turns in “Godspeed” and “Hamill”, she’s now spicing up Summer TV. Courtney plays Natalie who partakes in ‘Turning’ parties where blood is drained as impressionable girls turned into vamps!! Looks like Ravishing Redhead Courtney could become just as much a temptation as Deborah Ann Woll from “True Blood”.

NICOLE MOORE in “Femme Fatales”

 alt=  alt=

“Femme Fatales” is undeniably one of Cinemax’s stirringly raunchy skin fests to date and it’s great that the show let the women wield the power of seduction. As protagonists with tons of feminine wilds, a host of talented actresses dish our sheer captivation usually wearing little clothing. One such yummy performer is none other than Nicole Moore who stars in the film-noirish episode “Haunted”. Miles away from the meek ladies of “Boardwalk Empire” which was an unfortunate product of that bygone era, Nicole is devilishly delicious as a woman possessed who brings death to idealistic men! The babe-heavy “Sorority Row” introduced this sexy brunette and from then on, NICOLE has left us in awe of her stimulating aura that any real-life Femme Fatale would be proud of…:)

CODY KENNEDY in “CSI:NY”

 alt=  alt=

It’s true that we can’t get enough of Cody Kennedy and when she donned a very saucy schoolgirl outfit in “CSI:NY”, our obsession grew tenfold. She more than fulfilled those Lolita fantasies we so often have and proves why she’s headed for big things. Besides a young talent on the ascendancy, she’s a breathtaking model and is a Video Vixen, having graced the music clips of Miley Cyrus and Leona Lewis. Now it seems, Cody is heading towards some heavy infatuation as a TV Starlet as she’s been appearing in a clutch of hit shows. Not that we haven’t had strong desires to follow her work especially since she’s pleasantly personable…oh and the small detail that Cody succinctly indicated she loves being on my Hot Lists. It’s an honor to rave about someone as infectiously appealing as her.

Polly Shannon in “Rookie Blue”

 alt=  alt=

Polly Shannon is a devastatingly gorgeous charmer that recently was a scene stealer in “Shattered” as the kooky mistress Naomi of MPD-afflicted detective Ben Sullivan. This time around in the new season of “Rookie Blue”, she plays Tori, a sassy bartender who’s a suspect in a drug smuggling case. She once admitted in an interview that she doesn’t have the boobs and the butt for some of the racier scenes but it’s likely her fans would collectively disagree. By the way in the episode “Might Have Been” (see above), Polly has a saucy kissing scene and surely by now you’re drawn to her distinctively foxy eyes that are so hypnotic! There’s lots of reasons why Polly Shannon is coveted in many circles as this Canadian Cutie is always brimming with exuberance, possessing a bubbly demeanor that’s mega fascinating.

JESSICA EMBRO in “Covert Affairs”

 alt=

She’s promised to brew coffee in anticipation of my trip to Canada and the planned visit to meet Canadian actress Jessica Embro in person can’t come soon enough. Particularly since this strikingly statuesque dazzler has revealed some juicy updates about her role on Season 2 of “Covert Affairs” (specifically episode 6 next week) and her appearance as a farm girl on “Little Mosque On The Prairie”. Although, we may not yet get our hands on any teasers with the luscious Jessica in them, satiate yourselves with the trailer (above) of her spooky thriller “Off Season”. A recent review of the horror flick points to the fine screen presence of Jessica who’s the female lead. Blessed with the ability to be authentically emotive on camera, we can’t wait for Jessica to set alight TV Land.

Enchanting Cuties To Watch At The NYLA Film Fest 2011

Raquel Brussolo in “Deception”

 alt=  alt=

When an actress maxes out at 5000 peeps on Facebook, majority of whom are her fans, you should get a idea of the magnitude of her popularity. Since I’m in the habit of loving beauties of the entertainment world, I have to applaud Executive Producer and Actress Raquel Brussolo on a tremendous feat. Whether you choose to believe or not that the admiration for an actress is measured by the number of friends she has on Facebook, the fact that people are clamoring to add her is incredible. I’m fortunate to have squeezed into her esteemed friends list and while she could easily create a Fan Page, it’s the personal account that Raquel imbues her personal touch. I know the NYLA Film Festival is lucky to have her especially when she’s starring in “Deception”. I believe she has the role of a husband stealer who is the catalyst for a woman’s breakdown into insanity. Wish i could get my hands on a trailer somewhere!!

She’s been in several indie features most notably Horrorween that had William Shatner, Lloyd Kaufman, Tom Savani, singer Alice Cooper and even porn legend Jenna Jameson in its star-laden cast. The searingly gorgeous Raquel has also sizzled as a model, singer as well as captivating on stage and taking the world by storm. Her multi-faceted background is as stunning as her beauty! It’s a matter of time before we are all touched by the ‘Raquel Brussolo Effect’…I know I have and she’s wonderful…:)

Heather Morris in “A Sense Of Humor”

 alt=  alt=

While some are head over heels with Dianna Agron, your other favorite “Glee” Cheerleader Heather Morris should easily command devotion from legions of fans. Is it her thrillingly saucy dance moves? Is it the impressive way she delivers one-liners as Brittany? Or could it be her sensual cat-eye look that has us rooting for Team Heather? Lo and Behold, she’s going to steal countless hearts in the short film “A Sense of Humor” as a girl who cannot laugh due to a psychical defect. Quirkiness is right up her alley and with more projects in the works, she’s turning into a festival darling.

Jennifer Bogush in “Trio”

 alt=

Jennifer Bogush is the consummate writer, co-producer and leading lady of the award winning drama “Trio” which also garnered multiple award nominations for its screenplay. Renowned as a playwright and screenwriter, she has a knack for creating vivid characters and watching her be the one in “Trio” to flesh out the forlorn Jess is hauntingly touching. Her many accomplishments tellingly reveal that she can stir audiences from behind the scenes yet I hope she continues her presence on film in a big way. Isn’t Jennifer the reason why we love indie actresses so much.

Ashley Barron in “The Collector”

 alt=

If you haven’t seen her with comedian Rob Schneider in a hilariously entertaining scene before then make sure to check out the reel of sumptuous blonde Ashley Barron. She’s the naive girlfriend of Rob’s Iraqi Soldier character who gets more than she bargain for when pressed for sex….I couldn’t stop laughing at their humorous quips and boy do they have an amazing chemistry. She’s appearing in “The Collector”, the escapades of a nymphomaniac at the NYLA Film Fest and I can’t wait to see the whole thing! Isn’t it time we crave for sweetie pie Ashley Barron.

Jeannine Kaspar in “L.A. Love Story Part 1″

 alt=

Setting the relationship-driven drama in Hollywood, a world of excess, where fame is fleeting and temptation inescapable ensures “L.A. Love Story Part 1″ ain’t no run-of-the-mill sentimentalism. Just like the harshness of “Reality Bites”, there’s a jarring tone especially when the casting director tells aspiring actress(the lovely Jeannine Kasper) to take off her top at an audition. The brunette shines in bleak roles having played the damaged daughter of Dr. Christian Troy in “Nip/Tuck” and a suicidal mom in indie hit “Paper Covers Rock”. She definitely has my undivided attention!

Anita Briem in “You, Me & The Circus”

 alt=

Aside from the re-teaming of Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen in Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night, Icelandic Honey Anita Briem would be the one very hot reason to catch the comic book adaptation. She makes me want to visit Iceland in a hurry; Have a relaxing soak in the thermal pools of Reykjavik and be in awe of the Northern Lights, attractions that have dubbed Iceland as God’s Country…;) And just as we are blessed with the heavenly beauty that is Miss Anita, we are treated to yet another moving performance from her in the romantic tale cum musical “You, Me & The Circus”.

Ivana Miličević in “All America Tooles”

 alt=

With that unmistakable Euro Vixen charm, seductiveness has become a strong suit of Bosnian-american actress Ivana Miličević. She did play a Bond Girl in “Casino Royale” and I have a feeling she’s going to be all wolfish villainy in the upcoming “The Howling:Reborn”. Remember how Elisabeth Brooks was a picture of erotic evil as the werewolf pack leader Marsha Quist in the original….If Ivana is indeed cast as a sexy beast, she’ll probably tempt rabid fans of “The Howling” series. Until a trailer surfaces for her film “All American Tooles”, we’ll have sweet fantasies about her.

Hot Actress #460 – Laura Spencer: Indie Princess

 alt=  alt=
 alt=

Isn’t is any wonder we all love indie talents to the max as they seem to touch us every which way with their sensitive, stirring performances. Compelling and exquisite, LAURA SPENCER is brilliant as Heidi in the drama ‘IN THE LAND OF FIREWORKS’ where after a whirlwind romance comes an unexpected pregnancy and a shot gun wedding. However, there’s more than meets the eye as Heidi has secrets of her own including the identity of the baby’s father which ultimately will lead to painful choices to be made. LAURA is absorbingly impressive as she had showed before as the demon-possessed seductress in ‘THE FAMILIAR’. It’s great to see a character-driven plot with minimal effect/gory make-up that sees LAURA giving an emotive realness to the impending darkness of her protagonist in the religious thriller. Armed with such a ravishing cuteness, Laura is instantly likable from the onset and she looks so delectable on camera even in her evil guise on film…hehe. A performer of such hugely appealing stature, I’m glad to be a fan boy…:) Will appearances in the Dylan Dog comic book film adaptation and ‘CRIMINAL MINDS: Suspect Behavior’ get her even more coverage….I should think rightly so!

The feature today is a shout out to LAURA for being both a wonderful actress and person; Despite her busy schedule, she took the time to praise my support for her and that’s always priceless…:) Irrespective of whether they are household names or not, there will always be actresses having an immediate affinity to their audience and LAURA SPENCER has certainly made that connection.
