Ravishing Redhead: Mallory Moye

 alt=  alt=

On and off screen, MALLORY MOYE is a sweetheart with some dainty attractiveness all of us will come to adore. Her recurring role on “Hart Of Dixie” as the effervescent Wanda is thoroughly endearing and is a credit to MALLORY for creating such lovable appeal. Fans have called her character everything from cute to unconventionally charming and has sparked a following within “Hart Of Dixie” fans. The hot news is that Debro Jo Rupp (That 70′s show fame) will be recurring as the mother of Wanda and things are bound to get testy! We do want to see MALLORY’s role expanded as she is deserving of the opportunity to show her natural ability to delight our eyes. It’s great to see her joining the likes of Kaitlyn Black whom I’ve featured several times before. Just like Kaitlyn, MALLORY’s versatility in doing comedy and drama will spur us on to profess our liking for her.

Additionally there’s the MALLORY MOYE BLOG where you can keep updated and watch quirky videos touching on topics of everyday life. NEWS JUST IN from MALLORY Herself: She’s off to shoot a movie called ‘Parkland’ in the next few weeks in Austin. Produced by bigwig Tom Hank’s production company Playtone and includes an ensemble cast starring Paul Giamatti, Billy Bob Thornton, Marcia Gay Harden, Zac Efron, and MALLORY of course! Hailing from Georgia, MALLORY’s perky features does make for a healthy admiration. Engagingly angelic is how one can describe her and having message her on facebook thus finding out how pleasant she is, I’m all for supporting Miss MALLORY. There’s a whole lot more still to come from her and TV viewers will be treated to a rising starlet with very exciting prospects.

Indie Princess: Halley Feiffer

 alt=  alt=

HALLEY FEIFFER has already established herself as a captivating starlet and continues to astound viewers with a series of riveting performances. I’m honored and lucky to be able to watch her on film and reading of her interest to be featured on the Actress Obsession Blog is truly special indeed. The posts I’ve written from the first day is a testament to the influence of talented women such as HALLEY and they’re the very reason why this blog was created. There’s sweetness about HALLEY that is layered with fascination awaiting to be discovered by keen eyes. Invited to spend time with a man and his gravely ill wife in “How It Ended”, her portrayal as a flustered young woman is vulnerable and tempting in equal measures. “How It Ended is available now free online through Film Movement, its distributor and this is the perfect opportunity to be mesmerized by Miss HALLEY FEIFFER…:)

If you’ve read the interviews she’s done, HALLEY has a kooky and dirty sense of humor, a genuinely engaging aspect to her personality that she so often exudes be it in her varied roles, on the theater scene or in real life. On her way to becoming a big name herself, she’s starring alongside Paul Rudd and Paul Giamatti in “Lucky Dog” as well as with Jesse Eisenberg in 2 upcoming comedies, she’ll be all the rage in 2012. Also an amazing playwright and producer, HALLEY is segueing into lighter fare as opposed to her earlier dramatic exploits, demonstrating her inviting versatility. Expect a flood of devotion trickling her way in the months ahead.

Canadian Vixen: Jeananne Goosen

 alt=  alt=

If there’s one lady worthy of obsession, she would be JEANANNE GOOSEN, the vivacious and foxy scene stealer. Notable for being captivating on “Alcatraz” as coroner Nikki, she’s the crush that will put a smile on anyone. Even if she was a tad understated in “Alcatraz”, JEANANNE ranks as alluring as the other female starlets Sarah Jones and Parminder Nagra. Even now I can’t comprehend why they canceled the show! Still, you’ll be in awe of the level of her sexiness as proven by her lingerie photo shoot in Toro Magazine (watch the video above). JEANANNE’s curvaceous body compliments her Pan-Asian looks so much so we’re mesmerized at a moment’s glance at her. She is photogenic from every angle and the camera unceasingly displays her soulful yet most enticing face.

In the pilot of Kevin Bacon’s new series “The Following”, JEANANNE appear as FBI Agent Jennifer Mason but apparently they’ve re-casted the role. Boo to that since I was in fervent anticipation of seeing her dazzle on TV once more. An exemplary beauty with an engagingly fun side, this brunette is gloriously divine. I recently started a blog that focuses on trying to find one hot babe every day and if ever there was a chance meeting with JEANANNE, she’d be a top-draw Featured Babe…:)

TV Vixen: Elizabeth Chomko

 alt=  alt=

The bewitching ELIZABETH CHOMKO makes us want to tune in every week especially since she’s readily mesmerizing in the new series “Common Law”. As Alex MacFarland Mitchell, the ex-wife of Wes (one-half of the leading men on the show), her role is one of emotional woes as the estranged couple work through their divorce. Engaging characters are the strength of “Common Law” with the consistently excellent cast from Sonya Walger to ELIZABETH herself providing the charming effect on viewers. ELIZABETH’s stunningly gorgeous eyes does indeed play their part and she should by now be acknowledged as one of the hottest women on TV in 2012. Let’s hope we continue to see her in an expanded capacity on the series as she steadily garners a growing list of admirers…:)

She has been highly lauded for being riveting on the theatre scene and naturally her captivating beauty is now enriching the small screen. More than ever big stars such as Rachel Nichols (from Continuum) are migrating to TV like bees to honey and in the midst of competitiveness, it’s great that upcoming faces are still given a platform to dazzle. It augurs well for everyone as we’re presented with a treasure trove of talents such as Miss ELIZABETH CHOMKO. Blessed with a amiable personality, our hearts are veritably set on her.

Euro Vixen: Renée Fokker

 alt=  alt=

With the date 11-11-11 being a primary phenomenon this year, I’m following its lead by featuring Renée Fokker, the first ever Dutch actress on the Actress Obsession Blog. Her appearances in the explicit Cannes selection “Code Blue” as well as the much vaunted thriller “Loft” have introduced her to a worldwide audience. She currently stars as Chief of Serious Crime Department in Amsterdam on the TV series “Hart-Tegen-Hard” (aka Hard against Heart) and while it has been compared to the popular “Castle”, the show has something “Castle” does not; A sexy, take charge police commander Trudy van Veen played by the voluptuously beguiling Renée. As one can see, she is endowed with an authentic, sensual nature and she more than expresses feminine sexual liberation in the raunchy “LelleBelle” as the mother of a young girl whose is discovering her carnal knowledge. Oh, her character also happens to be a teacher who educates couples on the fine art of erotic copulation and even quotes the Kamasutra. The honest direction the drama takes is not one of exploitation rather the laying bare of irrepressible pubescent desires and a flirtatious yet sensitive interpretation from Renée makes it all the more rousing. Having watched “Cat Run” recently, I have to say European cinema can get away with pretty much anything (i.e. full-frontal nudity, penetration) where other markets may fear to thread and “LelleBelle” is unequivocal in its explicitness.

While the US has the gifted yet under-rated screen siren Patricia Clarkson, the Netherlands can count Renée Fokker as one of it’s visually stimulating stars. Actually, Patricia has even reprized the award-winning role Renée made famous in “Blind Date” directed by controversial filmmaker Theo van Gogh and it’s clear both have an immensely, engaging sultriness. Whether she’s arthouse or TV Darling, here’s an actress at her peak and we can anticipate more strong performances from the gorgeous Renée.

Captivating Siren: Debrianna Mansini

 alt=  alt=

DEBRIANNA MANSINI is a multi-hyphenate with an engaging charm whose work on Film, TV and now the web has to be held in esteem. She stars in “The Lying Game”, the drama series that left critics and viewers alike longing for more with every episode. That has a lot to do with its amazing cast and you know I’m referring to the ladies. Surreptitious identity switches, a deluge of devious characters and witty sarcasm has made “The Lying Game” as much a guilty pleasure as Sara Shepard’s book series it’s based on. Of course, DEBRIANNA adds the spicy tension as Clarice, the foster mum of Emma (Alexandra Chando who actually plays identical twins), proving that antagonists can be just as engrossing. We do love our fix of juicily wicked behavior in a woman! Check out the intense confrontational clip (above) as Clarice meets her match in the equally tigerish Emma or could that be Sutton, her twin! If you though she’s brilliant as a meanie onscreen, you must have seen DEBRIANNA at her foxy best in “Crazy Heart” back in 2009. This is a lady who tempted The Dude Jeff Bridges into joining her in a saucy liaison if you will. Well, that Italian allure of hers more than does the trick…:)

It’s easy to see why New Mexico is considered the ‘Land Of Enchantment’ when its given us gifted entertainers such as DEBRIANNA as well as the “Roswell” TV Series in the 90s and more recently Snake Cups made famous by Craig Ferguson/Mary McCormack. DEBRIANNA’s star is set to burn even brighter having snagged a meaty role alongside Sean Astin and Sara Paxton in “The Boys of Abu Ghraib”, the indie feature on the lives of US soldiers stationed at the notorious Iraqi prison. Already her web series “Cyphers” has been roundly praised for its innovative content. She’s both a writer and actress on “Cyphers” which has been billed as an eco-drama with our environment being the catalyst of the mysterious episodic plotlines. It’s refreshing to hear her say that there’s an urgent need to rekindle the artistic culture that’s slowly eroding, something which she is trying to rectify with her creative energy on the series. She’s most definitely a woman of substance.

Scream Queen: Donna Hamblin

 alt=  alt=

It’s sheer bliss when Blood and Babes come together so when actress DONNA HAMBLIN gets covered in crimson red, viewers are assured a visual feast. She has a classic old-world beauty offering a distinguishing allure that’s a standout in the annals of indie horror. She sweetens the deal even more with her genial personality, a big plus for her ever increasing worldwide fanbase. This Halloween, grab the DVD of her chilling film “Sinister” that promises the psychological spooks to make everyone jump. There’s plenty of voodoo spell casting, murderous zombies and DONNA in the lead role as EMILY who is afflicted with a Hex that threatens to envelop her life. Just as she kept us transfixed by portraying an affecting dualism in the 2008 thriller “At The House Of Madness”, DONNA intrigues by accentuating her character’s cerebral terror with ease in “Sinister”. She knows how to keep everything on a knife edge onscreen…might that have something to do with her background as an accomplished fencer!

More attuned to human complexities, it’s no surprise she opts for character work in the various guises she’s encompassed on film with many pointing our her eyes as being expressively engaging. She’s has already starred with Tura Satana, Brinke Stevens and Felissa Rose who have left their enviable mark as luminaries of horror over the years. Could DONNA be the genre’s next thriving starlet…she’s certainly been pleasingly captivating to warrant a slew of admirers for years to come.

Hot TV Vixen: Amy Stewart

 alt=
 alt=

Touted as being an engaging funnywoman who has distinguished herself in a myriad of TV Shows, AMY STEWART is just as enigmatic in darker fare. In the recent episode “Rebel Without A Pause” from the drama series “Rizzoli & Isles”, she’s thrust into the challenging persona of a rape victim whose offspring from that heinous act seeks revenge on the perpetrator, a respected professor. AMY’s strong features excellently fleshes out the furrowed lines of a painful past etched on the face of her character. Putting a tough affront, the woman with a bitter trauma she much rather see stay hidden is agonizingly authentic in the capable hands of the gifted AMY. Playing against type can so often yield warm approval for any actress. While she’s provided hours of pleasure in comedic turns on “Desperate Housewives” and “Las Vegas”, it was “Monkey Love” opposite Jeremy Renner that initially got everyone noticing how natural she is in fun roles. Can’t wait for AMY to dive into some boisterous screwball comedy after her emotionally invested stint on “Rizzoli & Isles”.

Have a look at her reel at the AMY STEWART OFFICIAL SITE to see her get under the skin of varying guises on some of the hottest shows on television. Her beautiful expressive eyes is the foundation from which she builds an assortment of emotions onscreen, varying the depth of each captivating performance. There’s plenty to suggest that AMY is on the right track to becoming TV’s Sweetheart as she has an innate charm that’s genuinely interesting and likable.
