DEBRIANNA MANSINI is a multi-hyphenate with an engaging charm whose work on Film, TV and now the web has to be held in esteem. She stars in “The Lying Game”, the drama series that left critics and viewers alike longing for more with every episode. That has a lot to do with its amazing cast and you know I’m referring to the ladies. Surreptitious identity switches, a deluge of devious characters and witty sarcasm has made “The Lying Game” as much a guilty pleasure as Sara Shepard’s book series it’s based on. Of course, DEBRIANNA adds the spicy tension as Clarice, the foster mum of Emma (Alexandra Chando who actually plays identical twins), proving that antagonists can be just as engrossing. We do love our fix of juicily wicked behavior in a woman! Check out the intense confrontational clip (above) as Clarice meets her match in the equally tigerish Emma or could that be Sutton, her twin! If you though she’s brilliant as a meanie onscreen, you must have seen DEBRIANNA at her foxy best in “Crazy Heart” back in 2009. This is a lady who tempted The Dude Jeff Bridges into joining her in a saucy liaison if you will. Well, that Italian allure of hers more than does the trick…:)

It’s easy to see why New Mexico is considered the ‘Land Of Enchantment’ when its given us gifted entertainers such as DEBRIANNA as well as the “Roswell” TV Series in the 90s and more recently Snake Cups made famous by Craig Ferguson/Mary McCormack. Sizzling Cutie: Lindsey Haun

LINDSEY HAUN is carving a name for herself on both sides of the acting and musical divide, hypnotizing us with her cavalcade of talents. Certainly she did so in the trippy thriller “Shrooms” which thrived on LINDSEY’s underrated yet compelling performance that ran the gamut of psychological terror, warning us never to go on an acid trip by way of Magic Mushrooms! Naivety, vulnerability, intoxication and finally lunacy, each facet of her character contrived exceptionally by LINDSEY kept me gripped until the shock ending. You may remember her as Mara, malevolent leader of the iconic group of evil platinum blonde-haired children from “The Village Of The Damned”, sparking off her forays into the underbelly of darkness on both TV and Film. She admits to having an affinity for mysteries as well as murder, culminating in her juicy stint on “True Blood” as Hadley Hale, cousin of Sookie Stackhouse. From getting a violent love bite from Eric to being on intimate terms as the lover of Evan Rachel Wood’s Vamp Queen Sophie-Anne, she became the envy of fang bangers everywhere. That scene of her in the sheer black lingerie (at the ’1:21′ mark) from her reel (above) is rather steamy and commands repeated viewings…;)

Our passion for this comely blonde are set to climb several notches higher when her movies “The Life Zone” and “House Of Last Things” are released. As we’ve seen before, LINDSEY excels when it comes to subject matters that absorbingly confound. The daughter of Air Supply guitarist Jimmy Haun, LINDSEY is currently charting her own path to success with her group Haun Solo Project….does she and her bandmates make them 3D glasses cool or what! Also that powerful, layered voice of hers adding soulfulness to the experimental rock styling of her band, a true aural and visual enchantment…:) Not only is LINDSEY great friends with fellow starlet Amanda Fuller (both of whom I have huge crushes on), it’s awesome that they are ever so kind to let me connect with them on the inter-webs. Even Han Solo would be proud at the lightspeed with which Miss Haun is catching the eye.

Indie Princess: Stephanie Sanditz

It’s about celebrating the fledgling starlets of the entertainment world and actress/screenwriter STEPHANIE SANDITZ ranks as one who we’ll be passionate about in a heartbeat. Her attractively, sharp jawline enhancing that foxiness she has in abundance and with the New Orleans Horror Festival in full swing, it’s the very event to catch her illuminate onscreen. Look out for STEPHANIE in the dark short film “Nice Guys Finish Last” as she plays Shellie, the best friend of perennial Scream Cutie Danielle Harris’s character Kori who has thing for bad boys. The trailer (above) implies a deranged malevolence on the part of Miss Danielle and I can’t wait to see what STEPHANIE has in store for us as the unsuspecting gal pal Shellie. From what I gather, she sets up a nice guy for the menacing Kori, inadvertently turning him into possibly the Final Victim of this horror love story as its title suggests!! Guess we’ll find out soon enough and its always a boon to see women being the centerpiece of the film. It’s from the talented mind of Soap star Kimberly McCullough (General Hospital) turned director and kudos to her for roping in the stellar cast of her soap co-star Lexi Ainsworth, Danielle Harris and potential star STEPHANIE SANDITZ.

I’ve read that one of her mentors whose prominent stable of pupils have included Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”), Sarah Clarke(“24″) and Ellie Kemper (“The Office”) raves about STEPHANIE as being one of the best he’s seen in his 24 years of teaching. From being an enchanting leading lady in a host of indie flicks to having completed the screenplay for the first of possibly 6 features for Greenestreet Films entitled The Mediator based on Meg Cabot’s book series of the same name, she’s making quite a name for herself. Having started the production company Broken Pictures, she’s also in the midst of bringing the dramedy “Creve Coeur, MO”, her opus on romance and life in Middle America to the big screen. It’s evident everything she does as an actress/screenwriter stems from the heart and with her innate multiple talents, she’s quickly on her way to becoming an all round entertainer with a compelling authenticity.

Rising Starlet: Dana DeLorenzo

To remember singer extraodinaire Amy Winehouse, it is poignantly essential to feature attractive DANA DELORENZO who cites Amy as being a heavy influence on her as an entertainer. DANA is of course the lead vocalist for tribute band HOUSE OF WINEHOUSE who stayed true to the spirit of Amy, the recently deceased artist with the signature beehive do and sultry bluesy vocals. In DANA’s words, Amy enriched her life and those of many others worldwide. By not conforming to the forced machination into a pop idol purported so frequently by the music industry, Amy charted her way to success as a one-of-a-kind performer. She was unique in molding her own image and for all her flaws, I rather remember Amy for indelibly changing the music landscape on her own terms. What DANA and her tribute band are doing is amazing, honoring the life of Amy Winehouse as a stirringly talented musician and DANA can certainly rock it! By the way, DANA is a whiz at Celebrity Impressions delightfully impersonating Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and even the ditzy Kim Kardashian….she had me tickled pink! Don’t miss the Chelsea Handler and Sarah Silverman caustic war of words skit with Liza Minnelli putting in her hilarious two cents worth in the clip (above). She captured the essence of each one with excellence. HEY! Give this girl her very own comedy sketch show like now!

DANA is also an accomplished stage and indie actress, most recently seen alongside horror icon Robert Englund in “The Mole Man Of Belmont Avenue” which had its share of laughs and scares. Her character Stoner Molly involved being dressed as a creepy clown and looking all psycho! Adept at different incarnations onscreen as well as multiple accents, this beauty with the Italian heritage has played everything from a Latina sidekick to a scandalous stripper. She’s born to perform and while DANA is known for being strikingly remarkable in her posh, often cussing Amy Winehouse impersonation, she stands on her own merit as a dramatic actress.

I’ve decided to established Monday of every week as ‘Rising Starlets’ Day in honor of the fresh faces that are making a play for your hearts and eyes. Sweetheart KATIE L. HALL is one such desirable young lady and she’s set to tickle your funny bone in her upcoming film “Act Naturally”, a comedy that delivers the fun of nudism Full Frontal…hehe. Let’s Strip!!!! With those magical words from “Act Naturally”, we’re in for a rollicking good time especially as KATIE is fabulous as Leah who together with her sister unexpectedly inherits a nudist resort. I love the joviality of the movie, imploring us to let it all hang out and despite the consternations we have with our own body image, inherent happiness is what really matters. Of course, not only have do we have the cast stripping down to their bare essentials, the production crew got into the act too and went au naturel…:) Don’t miss the awesome behind-the-scenes footage (above) as the female leads regale their on-set experiences being enveloped by carefree nudity, the thrill of wearing nothing and why “Act Naturally” is really not a Dirty Movie!! Actress/Comic KATIE L.
