Sizzling Cutie: Natalie Cordone

Shriekfest 2012 is also about featuring otherworldly films and NATALIE CORDONE is one Sci-Fi Hottie we should all take a liking to…:) She stars in the Star Wars Fan film “A Light In The Darkness” which recently won 1st Place in the Fan Film category at Dragon Con among many other accolades. As Kyla, the best friend of central character Farin who is an aspiring Jedi, she’s his trusted ally who has a special place in his heart. And as we’ll soon find out in the big reveal has her own extraordinary gift. Just as “A Light In The Darkness” is an independent gem, there’s plenty in NATALIE’s performance to suggest she’s one to have eyes for. How can one not be swayed by that beaming smile of hers, angelic yet with a tinge of flirtatiousness making her a sight to behold.

Well by now, everyone should know how I never fail giving due recognition to women in entertainment and a visit to the NATALIE CORDONE OFFICIAL SITE is in order. It’s music to your ears to know that NATALIE is an accomplished, classically trained singer with a smoky, cabaret style and there’s clips of her enchanting listeners as you browse her website. Indie Princess: LaDonna Pettijohn

Featured Actress of the Day LaDonna Pettijohn is the very first talent from the state of Indiana I’ve had on this blog and that’s something special. If you are lucky enough to be present at the World Premiere of “Scalene” this Saturday at Dances With Films 2011, LaDonna will most certainly be gracing the momentous event. I love how a personal quote on her Facebook Fan Page reads ‘A hard working actress, gonna’ make it BIG!’. With such passion and her amiable personality coupled with the buzz she’ll be getting for her performance in “Scalene”, LaDonna should soon be on the shiny pavement to stardom…:) I hope they release the full trailer of “Scalene” because the teaser (above) is seriously missing the scenes of elegant Miss LaDonna. Obviously eyes are on Margo Martindale and Hanna Hall who together are the protagonists of the thriller but LaDonna should be commended as well especially since she’s playing the distressed mother of rape victim Paige Alexander (Hanna Hall). As much as I can, I’ve always believed that actresses be put on equal footing as one can never guess when they’re going be sought after! Will LaDonna as Mrs Alexander be caught in the crossfire of revenge purported by Janice Thimble (Margo Martindale), whom we know is the retribution-seeking mother of her rapist son who got incarcerated….these are the times when we as fans salute the whole cast of “Scalene” for delivering first-rate drama.

Oh by the way, LaDonna did appear alongside Academy Award Winner Melissa Leo in the underrated “Lullaby” set in the crime-heavy concrete jungles of South Africa. The Actress/Producer/Director has worked with some of the best in the business and it’s now her time to shine as she’s astutely done in commercials, shorts and films spanning her career. Sci-fi fans will note that she starred as Dr Samantha Fuller in “Quantum Leap: A Leap To Di For”, the independent feature based on the long running, fan favorite TV series fronted by Scott Bakula. I have to admit I missed out on this adventure in body teleportation but if they ever did a big screen treatment, please get LaDonna to reprise her role. Make sure your viewfinders are pointed at LaDonna Pettijohn as this angelic blue-eyed blonde is bound to keep us entertained.

Hot Actress #483 – Carly Jones: Sizzling Cutie

She may have recently played a mean girl on the hit show “No Ordinary Family” but CARLY JONES is 100% America’s Sweetheart. No amount of rotten behavior on TV can hide the fact that she’s likable and one of the nicest actresses of her generation yet she’s amazing at playing up the bitchiness. Can’t wait for Carly to appear in the indie paranormal drama “Coldwood” with fast rising newcomer Savanah Wiltfong whom I featured some weeks ago. Yay, finally the trailer is out(above) and it’s purely riveting stuff. If you’ve seen the on-set pics on the Coldwood Facebook Fan Page, you would be inclined in acknowledging that CARLY and SAVANAH make a comely pair….2 Gorgeous Blondes Are Invariably Better than 1…hehe. This sunny young lady is also a Digital Vixen having been the poster girl of the hugely popular “The Last Exorcism” (Chatroulette) Viral campaign and all the rage Mallory of Lonelygirl15 fame. Chances are she’ll replicate her success story in the new web sitcom about game addicts called “Game Room” which also stars Annemarie Pazmino, a honey that has dazzled my blog as well. We would be so blessed if we were in the same room with the exquisite Carly!

Hot Actress #431 – Rachel Thevenard:Canadian Vixen

There’s already a battle brewing on who’s the sauciest young actress even though ‘SKINS (US Version)’ just made its premiere recently. Admittedly every single one of the ladies has her own distinctive allure and Rachel Thevenard who plays bad-boy loving Michelle on “SKINS” certainly takes your breath away. Her character may look demure but she’s someone not be messed with, picking fights with girls as well as guys! Uncompromising good as the sweet girl with a lust for life, smitten with her even lustier boyfriend who treats her like trash. I may enrage long time ‘SKINS’ fanatics here but i’m biting the bullet by acknowledging that Rachel makes a sexier Michelle than April Pearson (of UK Skins fame)…sorry. Mirroring the privileged generation of the modern youth who live like there’s no tomorrow, expect drug-fueled parties, casual sex and teen melodrama filled with sexual identity issues. I hope things continue on the raunchy road much in the same vein as the original UK series as we want the moans,groans and ecstasy in the raw…please MTV i beg you not to deprive us of those priceless erotic moments! Make sure you don’t miss the mind blowing Reverse Party Scene (above) complete with thumping bass and plenty of wet kissing between the leads with Rachel delivering the most stimulating thrills.

Much like how newcomers, the foxy Sarah Butler (‘I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE’) and the delicious duo Ashlynn Yennie/Ashley Williams (‘THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE’) roused audiences in the past year on film, RACHEL THEVENARD debuts fabulously as a television siren in what has been a scintillating era for ingénues. I’m amazed that all these actresses have captured our hearts so rapidly, a sure sign of their worldly appeal. Fans have even affectionately coined the term “The Thevenard Effect” and with the “SKINS” FACEBOOK page reaching a fanbase of almost 60,000 the hype has justifiably reach fever pitch! Remake or not, Rachel brings her A-game and engaging substance to every nuance of her multi-layered character Michelle. Rachel’s an exquisite entertainer for the present and the future..:)
