Sizzling Cutie: Shelly Varod

 alt=  alt=

Be still my heart when someone as luscious as rising talent SHELLY VAROD has a new film out which threads on horror territory. I’ve been waiting a long time to feature her and finally found the opportune moment to be caught in SHELLY’s web and so should you. After all, she is one of the stars of “Spiders 3D”, the newest creature feature to crawl up your skin this Halloween. The sci-fi terror tale is screening this Friday at the Freakshow Film Festival 2012 in Orlando, Florida and early buzz indicate it’s going to be a monster movie to enjoy. Seeing how those huge spiders descended from outer space setting itself apart from the chemically mutated ones in the 2002 horror comedy “Eight-legged freaks”, they’re gonna take some stopping! Plus Scream Queen Christa Campbell is in the cast with SHELLY who together will be more than just eye-candy amidst all the nasty web-crawling carnage.

SHELLY was previously seen in another Syfy original “Morlocks”, the fantasy flick of monstrosities running amok after time-traveling their way onto Earth. This captivating brunette with the beautiful, willowy hair has also had supporting roles alongside Val Kilmer and Dolph Lundgren in a couple of action movies. “In The Name Of The King 3″ which has Prison Break’s Dominic Purcell as the leading man, SHELLY is in the cast and that means further exposure for the blossoming honey.

Michelle Shields in “Frankenstein:Day Of The Beast”

 alt=

A regular at horror conventions, Michelle Shields is on a hot streak of starring in independent features which are bound to garner attention. As will her killer curves and her leading lady credentials on the gothic horror “Frankenstein:Day Of The Beast”. A new take on the classic monster tale made famous by Mary Shelley is as intriguing as her lead role of Elizabeth who is being hunted by the now infamous creature. With her sweet sensuality, there’s gonna be a line of people willing to be Miss Michelle’s protector…:)

Debbie Rochon & Raine Brown in “Gallery Of Fear”

 alt=  alt=

Debbie Rochon and Raine Brown in 1 movie? Now that’s a sight for lust and everything in between! Both are appearing in the anthology movie entitled “Gallery Of Fear” with each showing us why horror fans are devoted to them year in and year out. Coincidentally both are playing bitchy-types! Debbie stars as a NY socialite who is drawn to a exhibit with hallucinogenic properties while Raine is in the third short as a wife of a meek man whose friend could just be a monstrosity. Both are Saucy sirens indeed!

Manoush in “Turnpike Killer”

 alt=

It’s fitting when Manoush is anointed as a Horror Icon for she’s headlined some of the most intensely, terrifying films. Making a special appearance in “The Turnpike Killer”, it’s yet again another feature whereby Manoush reigns as one of the top female performers in horror. She once remarked “Playing nice is easy, people do it all the time in real life but acting real evil and credibly evil performances are always a challenge.” Manoush is without a doubt more than capable of portraying both sides.

Eileen Dietz: Special Guest

 alt=

Don’t you wish you were already at the Macabre Faire Film Fest to get the autograph of the esteemed Eileen Dietz? Her cult celebrity status thanks to “The Exorcist” means she’s revered at a host of conventions rolling into town and you’ll be able to catch her at the 2012 edition of Macabre Faire! Eileen has a gift for enthralling us with her innovative spin on numerous roles over the years, from the spooky to the creatively unconventional. A phenomenal actress each time she takes to the screen.

Rising Starlet: Lacy Phillips

 alt=

Monster movies are definitely here to stay and central to its popularity is a cute leading lady, take for instance the crave-worthy LACY PHILLIPS. Her fetching face has a memorable exoticness and it was fitting that she was cast as a woman of Native American descent in “Maneater”. This thriller bases its story on the legend of Wendigos, not to be confused with the 2007 man-eating creature feature of the same name that had a ravenous tiger and the ruffled-looking Gary Busey. In this one, Dean Cain is Sheriff Harry Bailey investigating a spate of brutal murders that could be the work of a Wendigo and LACY is his chaste daughter Pearl who has desires to break free from her modest chains. With a hungry beast running loose and even hungrier hormones, one can understand why Harry’s concern for his dearest is the recurring theme in “Maneater” and the source for conflict. LACY acquitted herself well from the get-go, gentle as a flower at first as the virginal daughter and later on shedding her inhibitions in a beer-induced makeout session. Audiences should pine for LACY’s delicate sexiness. In fact we’re in infatuation territory when regaling the stunning yet gracious female cast which includes Nicole Moore, Allyson Kyler and Mercy Malick.

This year she appeared as a gangster moll in punk band Social Distortion’s prohibition era music video “Machine Gun Blues”. She’s yet another talent who would dazzle even on Terra Nova, prehistoric nor modernity no barrier to us embracing the sweetness etched on her face when she takes to the screen. Known for her slinky ways on the award-winning web series “Pushing Twilight”, her “Coyote Ugly” bar-top shaking and letting loose skin to skin with another girl in barely-there lingerie revealed the innate vixen in her. On top of that, LACY revels in creativity having been a short film director and now owner of vintage/handicraft products business KONE 10. LACY’s innovativeness adds an extra dimension to her appeal which is plentiful and why she’ll amass a huge fan base in no time.

Sizzling Cutie: Jen Dance

 alt=  alt=
 alt=

Mesmeric model turned aspiring actress JEN DANCE is set to provide numerous thrills in her commendably, gritty debut as the leading lady of “Down The Road”. As Jenn, an emotionally unstable girl only just released from hospital who by the end of the movie would have wished she never left. At the behest of her friends, she joins them on a trip that unwittingly change their lives for the worse. As one of the posters from the slasher states “You Will See These People Die” but can JEN endure till the bitter end to be the eponymous Final Girl. The Festival teaser (above) that implores us to explore Braiden Woods is clearly more hard-hitting in the shivers department than the other trailers that’s been released so far. We get to see juicy glimpses of a disheveled JEN in what is a battle of survival against a madmen with diabolical motives. Such is the fragility of life and JEN has the requisite air of vulnerability to shine as a women of torment, in this case one bearing mental scars and encountering those of the blood-soaked, physical kind at some point. One of the stills from the movie, shows her being wheeled by Veteran actor Clint Howard at the hospital and she perfectly emotes her character’s troubling state.

“Down The Road” is a Best Feature nominee at Shockfest happening this weekend and we’re in for backwood horrors that might spring a surprise or two. It’s a great occasion to catch this buzzworthy slasher and of course the delectable female cast of JEN, Chelsey Garner and Nikki Bell. I feel blessed to be in touch with all 3 of these pleasant ladies, dazzling beauties in their own right and whom have been pleasantly accommodating. In her very first feature, the strikingly photogenic JEN is unmistakably a Belle, her lustrous long blonde hair contributing to her appeal that’s set to grow by the day. Estella Warren and Malin Akerman had degrees of success as models transitioning into actresses and with the emergence of fresh-faced JEN, we hope the trend continues.

Watch These Stunning Terror Hotties At The Everybody Dies Film Fest

Jamie Carson, Anya Benton, Alana Curry & Katie Lohmann in “Dahmer Vs Gacy”

 alt=Photo By Albert R Ortega Photography©  alt=
 alt=  alt=

Jamie Carson: Well you’ll most certainly insatiably covet her since she’s the hostess of this year’s Everybody Dies Film Fest in the saucy form of her alter ego Machete Betty. I’ve seen the cleavage revealing Catsuit she dons in her recent shoot as Machete Betty and she’s a picture of incredible temptation, a tad more alluring than Machete Man Danny Trejo I should add…hehe. Her movie “Dahmer Vs Gacy screening at Everybody Dies at Orange County has her playing Melanie Potter, an ardent fan of serial killers and Jamie’s a delectable bundle of fun onscreen. She’s not only one of the nicest Scream Queens in the biz, Jamie has more than enough spice to drive us wild in the years ahead!

Anya Benton: She’s the Russian-born Bombshell who has shone in a myriad of genres even though she’s been a turn on in some of the more racier roles. As Daisy Daniels in “Dahmer Vs Gacy”, the comely blonde parodies news reporters to a tee and shows she can injects opportune shades of humor.

Alana Curry: There’s no denying her Sex Bomb credentials having sizzled in recent flicks 2001 Maniacs: Field Of Screams and “Breadcrumbs” more often than not in a scantily-clad bikini. Even though she plays up the bimbotic blonde stereotype as Holly Richards a serial killer devotee, she’s always an ultra adorable watch.

Katie Lohmann: You know you can’t take your eyes off her or her lust-inducing figure…:) A former Playboy Playmate who is essential to any sex comedy that’s ever existed, it’s also her bubbly personality on top of her titillating energy that gets us all hot and bothered. Often touted as having one of the most beautiful bodies today!

Jen Nikolaus in “Nowhere Road”

 alt=  alt=

Having won Best Supporting Actress at the Los Angeles Movie Awards for the short film “Nowhere Road”, Jen Nikolaus is steadily becoming a bright prospect in horror. Excellent as Krin, her role is one of false facade as she goes from apparent victim to victimizer. She’ll surprise and leave you in awe as the sweetie pie college girl she plays who is supposedly stranded on an empty highway hides her own nasty agenda. We’ve seen our perception of a Hillbilly serial killer turned on its head in “Tucker & Dale vs Evil” and “Nowhere Road” takes it on a completely different direction with Jen’s wonderful obfuscation of appearances a measure of her acting finesse. Plus we do get to see Jen stripping down to her undies, her voluptuous va-va-voom body being another reason to crave this impressive talent.

Amber Bollinger, Jacqui Holland & Erin Marie Hogan in “Zombies and Assholes”

 alt=
 alt=  alt=

Here’s 3 immensely sexy women who are cannily able to milk the laughs while still maintaining an absolute desirability. Joan Rivers may have proclaimed that funny women are measured on Cup-size but I can find no wrong there especially when actresses Amber Bollinger, Jacqui Holland and Erin Marie Hogan prove that comedy thrives on its stimulating content. In “Zombies and Assholes”, it so happens The Walking Dead (think hot commodity!) are thrown into the mix of Gen X banter and biting zombedy. Watch out for the scene at the 1:54 mark of the ‘Zombie Attack’ clip (above) for the amusing ‘Breast Joke’. Amber has an eye-catching coolness that’s infectious, Jacqui is a pin up blonde with a charming sex appeal and busty beauty Erin intoxicates our loins with ease. All three vastly delightful scene-stealers in their own right!

Cathy Baron in “Dead Stop”

 alt=

Miss Cathy Baron is becoming quite the habitual fixation on this Blog and with ample reason! She wholeheartedly believes people fascinate her as does love…well there’s a huge number of Cathy fans that will not fail to reciprocate the ardor for this cutie with the face of an angel. Thus, many would be crossing their fingers and hoping she survives in her latest film “Dead Stop” that aims to reinvent the wheel of Creature Features. Primal instincts abound as a group of friends discover that the desert can be a truly brutal place. Carving that ‘Scream Queen’ niche for herself which she also brilliantly took on previously in “The Eves”, she cleverly develops her characters with such accessible captivation. Recently recognized as a Geek Goddess for her work on “Elf Quest: A Fan Imagining”, she’s an obsession well worth having…:)

7 Hot Actresses At Shriekfest 2011

Audrey Walker in “Rage”

 alt=

http://vimeo.com/14394554

She’s in one of the most brutal home invasion movies ever seen and Audrey Walker delivers a roller-coaster of emotions as Crystal, the wife of a man targeted by a dude called ‘The Biker’. The physical and mental torture dished out by the nasty invader on her will be one of the most talked about scenes and in my opinion the most intense she’s ever done. This could indeed be the role that puts her on the map thanks to its unsettling tone. Be it the darker subject matter or otherwise, she’s glowingly relatable on every level and one will find that she’s just as wonderful doing comedies. She once said she never feels more at home than she does on set and that’s precisely why she has the ability to connect with viewers. I feel blessed that she sent me her autograph as Audrey could very well be a gem of an actress in our midst.

Barbara Nedeljakova in “Isle Of Dogs” & “The Hike

 alt=

Euro Vixen Barbara Nedeljakova has seen her star on a meteoric rise ever since she burst onto the horror scene back in 2005. This year alone, we have seen the Slovak cutie in “Children Of The Corn:Genesis” and is primed to thrill audiences in two features screening at Shriekfest. Well we may always remember her as duplicitous temptress from Hostel, her turns in “Isle Of Dogs” and “The Hike” will see her as a victim of circumstance. Whether she’s a trophy wife of a cuckolded husband or a hiker whose vacation in the woods turn deadly, she’ll be enticing every step of the way! I believe her husky voice may have something to do with her sensuality and with her appearing alongside Robert Englund in “Strippers vs Werewolves”, there’s talk that she’s garnered a cult following.

Sarah Lassez in “The Dead Inside”

 alt=  alt=

We crave our quirky yet saucy characters in the independent scene and Canadian cutie Sarah Lassez certainly thrives in the horror-musical of “The Dead Inside”. She’s actually an author in real life having penned the acclaimed memoir, ‘Psychic Junkie’ and Sarah does indeed play one, a writer of a series of zombie novellas called, The Dead Survive, who slowly descends into a state of mental illness. Eating her from the inside, possession never look this eccentric until now! Known for being an excellent multi-dimensional actress, Sarah was once said to resemble a better-looking version of Julia Roberts. Anchoring some of the more thought-provoking roles, an enigmatic performer would be my choice of praise to describe her onscreen work. Her dedication to making everything she does authentic while in character is also praiseworthy.

Lynn Lowry in “Divination”

 alt=

One of the sexiest legends to ever grace horror, Lynn Lowry continues to be a dazzler of the big screen, seeing how she’s widely revered as a cult star. Pivotal in exploitation classics such as “I Drink Your Blood”, “The Crazies and “Score”, her nubile innocence yet uninhibited eroticism was perfect for some of the more steamy moments and she has always maintained her comfort with nudity. She’s someone who owns her role, treating it like an art form, hence her many polished performances over the years. In the creepy short film “Divination”, Lynn is a bogus psychic running fraudulent seances until a young woman becomes her latest client and threatens to expose her in deathly fashion. A scene stealer of her generation and many more after, now is the time to hold in high regard the exceptional Lynn Lowry.

Michelle Tomlinson in “My Undeadly”

 alt=  alt=

Michelle Tomlinson has a special place in our hearts and it seems that watching her in Zombie movies is equally intoxicating. All three flesh-eating dead features she’s been in couldn’t be more thrilling for the very reason that we get to enjoy Michelle’s hypnotizing presence. She was all sassy as the touch chick in the award-winning gorefest “Brain Dead” and was a standout in “George’s Intervention”, delving into comedic territory as part of a Zombie Help Group. In her latest tale “My Undeadly”, Michelle is a woman who unfortunately becomes the food of choice for a hungry, brain snacking reanimated corpse. She projects a real fear as the victim or is she one at all! There lies one of her many charms; threading between vulnerability and strength in many of her roles. She’s also a most genial Scream Queen, well-loved by both fans and peers alike.

Ginger Pullman in “The Millenium Bug”

 alt=

Watching those behind-the-scenes clips of Ginger Pullman discussing prosthetic vaginas and third nipples from her movie “The Millenium Bug” should be of intrigue to any horror fan. I was instantly hooked on how funny she can be. It really didn’t matter that those boobs on display were of a body double as she’s a bombshell nonetheless, although in this film, she’s rather creepy! As hillbilly clan member, Pearlene Crawford, she shows her villainous side under some macabre makeup and all this right before a humongous, bad-ass freak of nature starts chowing down on the unfortunate in this maniacal creature feature. For all the effects and gore, a monster movie does indeed depend on a talented cast and we get a taste of Ginger ably handling a stirring character. Aside from acting, we should also note that Ginger’s a mesmerizing fashion model.

Keiko Agena in “Road Rage”

 alt=  alt=

Keiko Agena may not be your traditional horror starlet having captured the hearts of so many as Lane Kim from “Gilmore Girls” but we’re still passionate for her no matter the genre. She stars in the short film “Road Rage” as a female driver with temperamental issues who gets more than she bargained for after crossing paths with a stranger. Seeing her bruise-covered face in an on-set photo, expect her to fans the flames of trouble and promptly dismiss the belief that Asians are a patient, sentient lot. All i can say, Keiko is an ageless beauty who has thus far shone in everything she’s done. In fact, I was disappointed that her stint on “House M.D.” was a guest starrer; Imagine the witty banter that could have gone on between her Dr Cheng and Dr House. Never one to be pigeon-holed, she’s proving to be wildly popular on her own terms.

Sexy Siren: Judith Benezra

 alt=  alt=

At ITVfest 2011, you’ll be able to watch JUDITH BENEZRA in the very first episode of the increasingly popular web series “DeVanity”…and why shouldn’t we when she’s 5 feet 10 inches of pure enchantment. As the crafty Kitty Crane, she directs tough questions at protagonist Jason DeVanity, cleverly trying to dig up dirt in the process. One can see how she relishes embodying a character that rubs people the wrong way. This summer, JUDITH has already shown how imposingly saucy she can be as Shoshanna in “Frents” aka “Friends For Rent” on Youtube. The statuesque actress tantalizes throughout (that she surely does even off set) and of course how can we not be transfixed on her deliciously buxom figure (watch the Pool Party episode and you’ll be wanting to give her a hug too..hehe). Things can only get hotter for JUDITH since she’s set to play a host of characters in “Electric City”, the highly-anticipated animated series from the brilliant mind of acclaimed actor Tom Hanks. Having also worked with established stars such as Chris Pine, Blair Underwood, Jayma Mays, Jenny McCarthy and Jane Seymour, isn’t it time for JUDITH to steal some of the limelight herself.

An esteemed comedienne, she’s performed at a slew of venues in Los Angeles and currently co-hosts Indiglo-An Alternative Comedy Show with Alison Becker every last Sunday of the month where funds are raised in support of a charity organization. Such a worthy cause from JUDITH brings attention to her generous soul. I’ll always adore her for remembering my birthday and in kind showering her with my loving support comes easily. Having made her presence felt on the net, we’ll be desiring this curvaceous beauty even more in the coming months.

Hot Blonde Of Summer 2011: Ginger Pullman

 alt=  alt=

Unofficially Summer arrived in the US with Memorial Day Weekend so it’s time to get excited as Dances With Films 2011 will showcase the most mesmerizing indie princesses. What better than to thrust Ford Model/Actress GINGER PULLMAN into the limelight especially since she’s appearing in “The Millennium Bug” which is making its World Premiere at Dances With Films. If you’re a fan of the Korean Hit “The Host”, this suspenseful movie will be right up your alley mashing the classic monster scares with servings of Hillbilly mayhem we as horror fans have been voraciously devouring over the years. GINGER plays Pearlene, the femme fatale of the sadistic Crawford Clan who may be the villains of the piece but even they can’t hold a candle to the terror that’s erupting from beneath!! It’s amazing to see GINGER’s character evolve as survival becomes the ultimate priority and the trailer (above) has more than enough chills; A delightfully Deviant Indie Creature Feature With Lots Of Bite! Early pics of GINGER in a blood-covered white dress cutting quite the menacing figure suggest we’re in for some freaky fun. However, if you prefer to see her more sensual side, pay a visit to the GINGER PULLMAN OFFICIAL SITE.

GINGER is also known for being a sexy vampire killer in the popular web series “Vampire Killers” and even in this thriller, there’s an unexpected twist!! It’s gratifying to see that the drop-dead gorgeous GINGER has essayed roles that tiptoe on the side of good and evil, keeping everything rather interesting. There’s early buzz that GINGER will be in MTVs scripted horror/comedy series “Death Valley” about an Undead Task Force tasked to rid San Fernando Valley of some unwelcome zombies, vampires and werewolves. Whether she’s a heroine or a villainess, rest assured this pin-up blonde is on hand to make you tingle…:)
