Next up is “The Red House” where in this one, psychological horror is more apparent as a young woman invites her friends to her inherited home only to encounter madness and a sadistic murderer. Expectedly the red in the movie’s title refers to the copious amount of blood that will be shed and this is another thrilling flick that has YVETTE in captivating mode. It’s endearing to know she also advocates the importance of education within the craft of acting, imploring those around her to learn as much as they can. Her moment in the spotlight is now and she could soon be the IT Girl of her generation.

With Chinese New Year a few days away, let’s instill some Asian flavor by having ELAINE LOH enchant us right here. For those in the know, ELAINE is actually of Hispanic and Asian heritage, a very alluring combo indeed, those almond shaped eyes, kissable lips and the soft hair very much desirable facets. This up and comer has just scored a role in “The Mentalist” where she’s currently having a ball on set. She’s acknowledged the cast may be the nicest people she’s had the pleasure of working alongside and I have a feeling Simon Baker may have something to do with those friendly vibes. “Californication”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “Chuck” are some of the other shows where ELAINE has displayed her glowing lissomeness. For me, the immensely luscious lips of MELANIE CRUZ is instantaneously striking and we’ve already been treated to her beauty on television more than once. Having scored a guest-starring role in the pilot of “American Horror Story”, widely expected to be hauntingly impressive when it premieres, the prominently fetching MELANIE should be capturing hearts soon enough. You may have spotted her on hit shows “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” and “House” on both occasions playing a doctor. In the final season of “Big Love”, she was Bishop Benedict, the voice of reason trying to convince the disenchanted Barb (Jeanne Tripplehorn) to switch churches albeit unsuccessfully. It’s an eye-opener to watch MELANIE comfortably depicting an understanding authority of religion as the bastion of male dominance is slowly extinguished, making way for feminine presence. Or in my case put the reverence for this Venezuelan-born Stunner down in words. This week, it has been so gratifying featuring a Bevy of Hispanic Cuties and continuing the Hottie Trend, it’s time to turn our attention on the delectable YENIFFER. Known for steaming up the soap opera “General Hospital” as Marianna, she was Ric Lansing’s love interest who somewhat tempers his revenge-seeking ways. The soap star then took the indie route, depicting a spicy energy in numerous films such as “Hollywood Whores” and “Frozen Kiss” and in recently released thriller “Decisions”, showcased her dramatic chops as Serena, a woman on the wrong side of the law. This was the very last film of the late Corey Haim and was a poignant reminder of how people can leave us at the most unlikely of times but their spirit remains. I’m eagerly awaiting for the DVD release of “Decisions” on August 15th as it has YENIFFER in a fascinatingly edgy performance which i gathered from watching the trailer (above). If you think she’s eye-catching, wait till you see her at a premiere or an event if you ever had the chance…the photos proving she’s an Illuminating Siren, the genuine article…:) There’s also that unmissable detail of Miss YENIFFER and her voluptuous curves that has so many calling her ‘Chica Bonita’. Slated to appear in Season 4 of sci-fi series “Torchwood” starring John Barrowman, she’ll be craved just as much as the shows’ newest evolution. This “Americanized” version has Los Angeles as its epicenter of events and has the population of the world suddenly turning immortal. If you can’t wait for yummy Veronica to sizzle on TV, check her out in the Western “The Gundown” (see the video above) which has been released on DVD. She’s famed for steaming up late nights on TV in “Zane’s Sex Chronicles” as the man eater Trinity; Intoxicating men and leaving a trail of broken hearts, LIANA was massively beguiling…would have love to see her in more than just the 10 racy episodes! She was playing against type of course, having affirmed that she adores men and that us guys were born to please women…Nice!! Jocelin Donahue projects that old-school cuteness which she used to brilliant effect in the throwback to the 80s horror “The House Of The Devil”. Slow-burners may not be to everyone’s taste but Jocelin proved stirringly adept at carrying the movie, even getting bound and gagged for the tense satanic ritual scene. Although her latest feature, the Indie Spirit Film Fest entry “Wes and Ella” is more of a lo-fi drama, she still manages to make a strong impression. Hey, she even spoofed Mischa Barton(The OC) back in the day!!
