A must-watch film by a talented female director Julia Leigh and fronted by the eroticism of Emily Browning.
Not one to follow the teenybopper turn fashion diva lifestyle of her sisters, Elizabeth Olsen is becoming an indie princess on her own terms. I did see her go glam at Cannes so it’s a matter of time before she goes voguish. What’s up with the abundance of nudity over there! Elizabeth disrobes in the creepy “Martha Marcy May Marlene” playing a torn woman who can’t quite escape the cult she’s in. Chilling yet strangely compelling.
When talking about sexiness and cuteness in the same sentence, there’s one lady that represents the finest of both. Yet again, we are deprived of a trailer to feast our eyes on the luscious Katy Mixon. But i reckon she will make you love her in her upcoming short film “Take Shelter” which has won the Critics Week Prize. She’s been called God’s Gift to Men thanks to her curvaceous body yet her child-like innocence is utterly hypnotic.
While Director Lars Von Trier has infamously gone stir crazy with them Nazi rants, I choose to focus on the amazing work of Kirsten Dunst in “Melancholia”. Obviously we’re not gonna stop thinking of Kirsten parading in her birthday suit…:) News just in Mr Lars has been kicked out of Cannes but don’t let that tarnish the riveting existentialism of the epic “Melancholia”. Bring on the drama even before its premiere…HOW CLEVER of the Von Trier camp!!
One of the most twisted tales ever brought to screen, “The Skin I Live In” deserves a cult following be it in Spain or overseas. The vivacious Elena Anaya plays a woman who unwittingly becomes a tool of vengeance in a mad scientist experimentation by the revenge-seeking plastic surgeon (Antonio Banderas). The Spanish Nutty Professor needs his muse and saucy Elena Anaya proves she doesn’t need any surgery to stir our loins.
