In the comedy short “Anti-Muse”, the eternally cute Lauren Lakis stars as Jules, a depressed girl who instills a sense of positivity in a man who is prepared to take his own life. Viewers will soon be acquainted with her irresistible appeal on either side of the lens as Lauren is truly bewitching in every sense of the word and her reel (above) is a must-watch. Most would agree she has genially, inviting features and it’s apparent Lauren has been ever present on this blog, more so when she’s so lovable in person. One of the canniest actresses in the biz, she drew on her talents to become the ultimate seductress in “Poison Ivy: The Secret Society”. While we do remember how Drew Barrymore and Alyssa Milano steamed up the screens in previous installments, SHAWNA excelled as the manipulative student Azalea who’s willing to do anything to get ahead. She does disrobe for the camera mirroring the inclination of her character to pursue her every desire at any cost. She’ll be the object of fascination once more in The upcoming horror flick “Lizzie”, a surrealistic meeting of two incarnations of Lizzie Borden, the infamous figure in a supernatural tale where past and present collide. As you know, the still unsolved Lizzie Borden murders seem to have an effect on many people till this day with theories on the mysterious killings a subject of great debate. With suggestions of the supernatural, the trailer for the film “Lizzie” (above) reels you in from the oft.
SHAWNA has previously shown her flair in intense roles, one of which was as the captive of a madmen in “Cyrus”. Caged like an animal, SHAWNA depicted the strains of predicament with such realism, it’s obvious we’ll be feeling empathy for the suffering realized onscreen. SHAWNA is a sexy lady indeed but she does have a degree of fragility etched on her face which she can use to great effect. It came to my attention how the photo of her skin-revealing pose (above) is quite similar to the one of Mary Louise-Parker’s which served as a promotional tool for “Weeds“. As you can see, SHAWNA has all the lusciousness of an emerging starlet. An underrated actress with bags of potential, she could find herself in the spotlight come 2012.

The spookiest week in October has arrived and what better than to showcase the beautiful faces who are a big part of some very eerie features. Let me introduce JENNA JOHNSON, leading lady of the supernatural short film “The Graveyard Shift” who will ostensibly inspire great affection. She fondly recalls “The Graveyard Shift” as her druggie debut and since it’s screening at the New Orleans Horror Film Festival on the 28th of October, we’ll be able catch her gripping performance. The teaser clip of her character foaming in the mouth after a drug overdose is as mysterious as the circumstances that led to her predicament and will leave you wanting answers in a hurry. Written and directed by April Wright who has won numerous awards for her work in independent cinema means its a must-see! Women in-front and behind the camera are a one-two punch that’s pretty irresistible. That might also have something to do with JENNA’s telling cuteness…:)
It used to be Helen of Troy had the face that launched a thousand ships back in the day but being enigmatic should have been in the reckoning too. JENNA’s demure smile is one to treasure and if you’ve seen her retro photo shoot, you’ll acknowledge that she would have been a perfect embodiment of exuberant beauty in whichever era. I would love to see her cast in those comedies where coyness were the order of the day, harking back to the time when Doris Day used to enthrall audiences, particularly when JENNA herself is endowed with delightful girl-next-door qualities. In “The Clinic”, the latest episode of “Femme Fatales” that aired recently, STACEY proves why she belongs in the list of irresistible women coming to the fore on TV. By now you should already know there’s going to be flashing skin, actually quite an amount and STACEY herself is in a love making scene right at the start. She plays Jessica, the doting girlfriend of a man suffering from a rare disease who unfortunately finds out the true meaning of giving his heart to a loved one. Without giving too much away, let’s just say it’s not all black and white as she has a secret you won’t see coming until the end. It’s great to see STACEY driving the story and opening up surprising twists along the way. It’s about finding the right balance and STACEY portrayed the different shades of her manipulative character impressively. Don’t forget to check out the 37th Saturn Awards Interview (above) as STACEY and her “Femme Fatales” gal pals reveal more about their saucy sometimes evil roles.
“Iron Man” devotees will recall that she was the woman in the sexy black number who blows on the hand of one Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in the casino. She has also guest-starred in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” as well as “Rules of Engagement” and her run on “Femme Fatales” continues with two more episodes in the pipeline. Her work on TV could be the launching pad to bigger things….Aren’t you by know enchanted by her pearly whites? With the sumptuous smile she wears be it on the red carpet or onscreen, there’s plenty of reasons to get an eyeful of STACEY in the months ahead.

The new series “Love Bites” about the ups and downs of being single might just leave you with a hickey, that is if you were watching with your significant other. After her mega-bitch scene-stealing turn in “Ugly Betty”, Becki Newton was tapped to star as one of only two unattached women in a group of friends. There’s an open concept behind the show with Becki (Annie) and Jordana Spiro (Frannie) central to the vignettes of love mixed in with a revolving door of characters that have issues with romance. Pamela Adlon and Jennifer Love Hewitt are set to have recurring roles that are thoroughly delicious (don’t miss the trailer above). Shifting from her dirty days as Betty-Hating Amanda Tanen to her now pristine innocence as virginal Annie, she’s got us enamored all over again. Who is a virgin these days anyways…and on the strength of that premise alone, viewers are expected to follow “Love Bites” for the inevitable “Breaking Her Cherry” conclusion to Becki’s chaste character!
