Euro Vixen: Lidia Vitale

 alt=  alt=

LIDIA VITALE is the epitome of a Screen Goddess known for being one of the most sensual women to have captivated audiences in Italy, the US and around the globe. With Italy being a Dream Destination of mine, the very alluring and classy LIDIA just made my decision that much easier. I would be gushing if I got the chance to meet LIDIA who is an absolute Bella. Back in 2009 in the romantic thriller “La Doppia Ora” aka The Double Hour, she played one of the lovers of a man who resorts to speed dating to find sexual partners. She did flaunt her luscious body in a rather steamy scene with the lead actor and showed the world her enigmatic comeliness even though it was a supporting role. It’s significant in this day how effortless LIDIA can project such a tempting facade and in the US, she is fondly remembered for her one woman show “Solo Anna”, a characterization of the legendary actress Anna Magnani. She proved to be a creative force on stage, bringing lots of fun, humor and a touching performance. If you’ve watched her reels (above), she’s replicated all that whenever she takes to the screen, every bit the professional taking our breaths away!

Enough reason then to visit the LIDIA VITALE OFFICIAL SITE and lead any reader on his or her way to appreciating this wonderful Roman Leading Lady. She does have the best of two worlds, able to shuttle between English and Italian-speaking roles, her attractiveness very much stems from her sincerity in the features she’s done over the years. Soon you may find LIDIA joining the likes of Loren and Bellucci, distinguished European talents with the undeniable Sex Appeal.

Canadian Vixen: Caroline Redekopp

Some actresses are entrancing from the first moment they grace the screen and CAROLINE REDEKOPP is instantly eye-catching. Never underestimate the smile of a woman and CAROLINE wears it in such a ravishing way, we are pleasantly mesmerized. When I first saw her in this year’s Franco-Canadian thriller “Territories”, she left quite a hold on me, leaving me pretty much intrigued. Away from the torture-porn and political heaviness (Gulf War syndrome and terrorism fears) of the flick, it’s nice to have a quieter reflection on life which CAROLINE ponders over as the waitress Doris. If you were all alone in a diner (as the scene above plays out), wouldn’t you want to be greeted by such a flirtatious charmer. Discern CAROLINE’s naughty/nice appeal which this festive Month of Christmas certainly celebrates. Surely it’s observable how she bears an uncanny resemblance to one of the hottest woman ever to grace TV Land (Go on, take a guess!). Hey Mister Casting Director you seem to have missed out on a Gem! Didn’t you make out CAROLINE’s resemblance to both Lynda Carter and the legendary comic heroine that is Diana Prince? In no way will an actress obsessor (moi) resort to knocking Adrienne Palicki’s take on TV’s ill-fated Wonder Woman although CAROLINE would have certainly made a fabulous Amazonian Princess.

Ensure a visit to the CAROLINE REDEKOPP OFFICIAL SITE where you will discover she’s already prevalent on television. You may have seen her as Karen Caldone, mother of Kay Panabakar’s character Samantha in “Cyberbully”, the ABC family drama that hits a raw nerve when it comes to depicting abuse on the internet. She’s also set to headline the TV Movie “September Runs Red” as woman who is beset by the condition aquaphobia that could have a deadly impact on her life. An enthralling premise with an equally fascinating leading lady is why we’ll find the time for some CAROLINE REDEKOPP devotion has indeed arrived…:)

Sizzling Cutie: Jen Dance

 alt=  alt=
 alt=

Mesmeric model turned aspiring actress JEN DANCE is set to provide numerous thrills in her commendably, gritty debut as the leading lady of “Down The Road”. As Jenn, an emotionally unstable girl only just released from hospital who by the end of the movie would have wished she never left. At the behest of her friends, she joins them on a trip that unwittingly change their lives for the worse. As one of the posters from the slasher states “You Will See These People Die” but can JEN endure till the bitter end to be the eponymous Final Girl. The Festival teaser (above) that implores us to explore Braiden Woods is clearly more hard-hitting in the shivers department than the other trailers that’s been released so far. We get to see juicy glimpses of a disheveled JEN in what is a battle of survival against a madmen with diabolical motives. Such is the fragility of life and JEN has the requisite air of vulnerability to shine as a women of torment, in this case one bearing mental scars and encountering those of the blood-soaked, physical kind at some point. One of the stills from the movie, shows her being wheeled by Veteran actor Clint Howard at the hospital and she perfectly emotes her character’s troubling state.

“Down The Road” is a Best Feature nominee at Shockfest happening this weekend and we’re in for backwood horrors that might spring a surprise or two. It’s a great occasion to catch this buzzworthy slasher and of course the delectable female cast of JEN, Chelsey Garner and Nikki Bell. I feel blessed to be in touch with all 3 of these pleasant ladies, dazzling beauties in their own right and whom have been pleasantly accommodating. In her very first feature, the strikingly photogenic JEN is unmistakably a Belle, her lustrous long blonde hair contributing to her appeal that’s set to grow by the day. Estella Warren and Malin Akerman had degrees of success as models transitioning into actresses and with the emergence of fresh-faced JEN, we hope the trend continues.

Sizzling Cutie: Alicia Anthony

 alt=  alt=

Future stars are so often unearthed on the independent scene and ALICIA ANTHONY could very well be the newest with a debut that has aroused keen interest. Some like Amy Adams had to slog for years to get to where she is while others like Jennifer Lawrence struck big thanks to a resonating performance (Winter’s Bone) and the winsome ALICIA has more than shown her enchanting credibility onscreen at the first time of asking. She’s the leading lady of “Wuss” in the skin of Maddie, a student with an undesirable past who by the hand of fate crosses path with her teacher Mitch. Let’s just say she’s the polar opposite of most high school students with an inherently dim view towards teachers, an anti Tracy Flick if you will. Not the type to join in the bandwagon of ridicule on her weakling of a teacher, she uses her infamy that’s seeming striking fear on all sides of the school population to shade him from the abuse. Wanton bullying in institutions has been around for ages but to have it happening to an educator with such brutal fashion as in “Wuss” is an eye-opener. Inevitably. revenge is set in motion by the inappropriately attached teacher-student duo, each with their own demons to purge. ALICIA impeccably handles every bit of the darkly humorous material courtesy of Writer/director Clay Liford. Audiences can catch the movie’s run from November 6-7 at the AFI Fest 2011.

For ALICIA, it must have been a moment of serendipity as she was discovered by the film’s producers at a Taco stand where she used to worked. Mesmerizing as the reticently complex Maddie, they were spot on their choice of ALICIA in the integral role. I’ve read that she has an aura and a smile that’s saliently captivating…ahhh….more reasons to love her. It’s also great to see Arianne Martin (a fav actress of mine) in the cast of “Wuss” and I can foresee ALICIA becoming an indie sweetheart in her own right.

Sex Bomb: Susie Abromeit

 alt=  alt=

Ravishing Blonde SUSIE ABROMEIT is quickly becoming an industry trailblazer and she’s sharing screen time with some very big names. 50 Cents, Margo Martindale, Patrick Wilson and Julie Benz are some of the illustrious company she’ll be starring with on both film and television. You’ve probably come across her Maxim shoot (above) that has her in revealing swimsuits that emphasizes her curves and unmistakably teasing her way into our lives. Inevitably a knight in shining armor deftly comes to her rescue albeit on celluloid and it’s TV Veteran Brian Austin Green as a vigilante crime fighter imbued with ancient powers in actioner “Cross”. His reward is a canoodling session (above) with Susie’s liberated damsel Sunshine and it’s abundantly clear she’s the spicier of the two…:)

It’s interesting to note that she went to Duke University on a tennis scholarship and she gets to parade all the right moves in the new TV series “Gifted Man” as well as the upcoming romance “16-Love”. Ever since she caught the eye in the rowdy comedy “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell”, she has gone on to dazzle in several indie flicks and will be prominent in the Bruce Willis/Ryan Phillipe vehicle “Setup” that saw her gaining superstar rapper 50 Cents approval! By far her biggest exposure was on “Battle: Los Angeles” proving that aliens weren’t just the biggest draw for that blockbuster….somewhat takes me back to the day when starlet Isabel Lucas announced her arrival in that other explosive alien saga Transformers! There’s quite a discernible resemblance between SUSIE and Isabel I must say, the runway-worthy looks for instance. The “Pirates Of The Caribbean” meets “Robinson Crusoe” fish out of water tale “The Mysterious Island” adapted from the ageless Jules Verne novel is yet another fascinating film with SUSIE as a leading lady. Unquestionably on a roll, she’s steadily bringing her foxiness to every corner of the globe.

Blonde Bombshell: Kiersten Hall

 alt=  alt=

There I was today reading about the Glamorous Leading Ladies of Yesteryear such as Mae West, Kim Novak and Lana Turner who certainly reached the heights of feminine seduction during their time. Evoking the glittering Hollywood Sex Symbols of yore is the stunning actress/model Kiersten Hall who herself has been called a charismatic blonde goddess. If you’ve seen her tempting photos at the KIERSTEN HALL OFFICIAL SITE you’ll be inclined to agree that she could effortlessly belong in the Golden Age Of Hollywood. Emulating the pin-up appeal made famous by numerous starlets of that era, KIERSTEN’s own striking features are spellbinding! Be it her potently seductive eyes or the lusciously bee-stung lips, there’s an old-world heavenliness about her completed by magically fashionable modern day elegance.

Besides being a Video Vixen in singer Steven Kellog’s “Sweetest Goodbye” music video, you may have caught sight of her as a sexy Southerner in the spooky horror flick “Fear House”. In the upcoming “Venice Heat”, a Reno 911/Pacific Blue mashup comedy about Beach Cops, I’m sure she’ll add some extra spice…after all, she’s starring alongside fellow Blonde Babe Jennifer Lyons. While this Hot Actress continues to grow in her craft, there is no doubt that Kiersten has all the divine qualities to transcend being just a pretty face. Her goal in life is to excite people and so far, she’s on the right path to take our breath away.

Aussie Vixen: Georgina Symes

 alt=  alt=

Australian actresses are always dear to my heart and my fondness for them grows tenfold watching fantastic talents like GEORGINA SYMES shine in absorbing projects. She definitely caught my eye in the ultra-violent trailer of “Bad Behaviour” (above) particularly at the end when she got plastered by the huge geyser of blood spewing from a dude’s face!! In the spirit of a classic such as “A Clockwork Orange” which this year incidentally celebrated its 40th anniversary, “Bad Behaviour” itself has some pretty disturbing moments, pushing the boundaries of taste yet keeping that chillingly Australian twist. For sure, this Aussie gore fest and its amazing cast would receive plaudits if ever Malcolm McDowell himself came across it! It lives up to its billing as a Serial Killer Thriller from start to finish. With industry circles likening GEORGINA to a blend of Claire Danes and Cate Blanchett, don’t be surprise if she’s the next emerging starlet from OZ. The fact that she’s a Queensland native, I’m throwing my weight of support behind her for as you know I was a resident there for a good 3 years that it felt like home. Furthermore, “Bad Behavior” was screened at CANNES ensuring plenty of exposure for this wondrous upcoming talent.

GEORGINA is also considered one of Queensland Theatre’s most cherished leading ladies having wowed audiences in the Shakespearean satire “The Alchemist”. She’s expected to do so once again in “FEFU AND HER FRIENDS” playing at Parade Theatres on 6-14 August that is if you are in Australia or plan to pay a visit. Her elegantly styled blonde hair heightens the sassy confidence she projects on film and stage and with such an engaging glow, we can’t help but be charmed. When it comes to GEORGINA, there’s can be only good things to come from her and she’ll be on our radars this year and beyond.

Hot Blonde Vixen Of Summer: Jenn Gotzon

 alt=  alt=

When talking about Impact Performers, there’s one lady generating tremendous buzz, so much so her name was ranked #2 on IMDB’s Starmeter only a few weeks ago. I’m referring to the delectable JENN GOTZON who also captured the #1 spot above Natalie Portman in a ranking of top actresses based on search results of her name. As we know, popularity on the IMDB site can be fleeting but it is a wonderful achievement for JENN who industry insiders compare her onscreen presence as on par to a young Meryl Streep. JENN most certainly has that endearing likability that befits a blossoming star in the making. If you’ve already a fan of hers on Facebook, you already know JENN is appealingly sweet even commenting how cool it was that I was featuring her here. For an actress of her stature to interact with fans is invaluable..isn’t it any wonder my huge affection for blondes keeps increasing exponentially…:) This week alone, two trailers of her upcoming films were released which will exhibit her divine loveliness and charming versatility. On the strength of her upcoming feature “Doonby”, JENN GOTZON is at her sassy best as a worldly daughter of a wealthy doctor who becomes weary of life’s trappings until an enigmatic drifter brightens it up. The mysterious man in question is played by John Schneider of Smallville fame and his gruff yet laid-back exterior kind of reminds me of Michael Landon from the TV series “Highway To Heaven”. I can’t wait for the sparks to fly between JENN’s delightful character Laura Reaper and John’s Sam Doonby, the outsider seeing how the two of them have boundless chemistry!

She’s primed to leave you smitten in a host of features such as the French/Indian war drama “Alone Yet Not Alone” and an intriguing cyber-war thriller “Dragon Day”. Be sure to keep up with her latest exploits at the very informative JENN GOTZON OFFICIAL SITE. Stirring turns in “Frost/Nixon” and “Stained” launched her as a sought-after screen siren and her consistent ability to bring out the emotional depth in complex roles is quickly becoming a crowd-pleaser. With no-less than 30 indie films under her belt, she’s living the dream and is encouraging others to do the same via her motivational mentor-outreach program, “Inspiring Audiences”. She’s the irrefutable sparkle in our lives, elevating movie-watching into an absorbing medium which everyone can relish with gusto.
