If ever there was an upcoming starlet to take note of, LEXI GIOVAGNOLI would definitely be one to evoke admirable glances from viewers. She has a lovable appeal and seeing how she was ever so nice to provide me with some behind the scenes news, here’s me giving her a shout-out! “Bloody Homecoming” is one of her intriguing films in what is billed as “My Bloody Valentines” meets “Prom Night”. Let’s hope LEXI’s the Final Girl in this slasher as she’s adorable and deserves to make it to the film’s end. The other big project she’s a big part of is the Campfire horror “Varsity Blood” as she’s cast alongside horror icon Debbie Rochon (who plays her mother), appearing as Hannah Wallace who together with her fellow cheerleaders are targeted by a maniac wielding a lethal fighting ax and a bow and arrow. She just wrapped “Varsity Blood” although the director and producers are mulling over a title change because there are interested distributors. What’s amazing about LEXI is that she’s juggling her film schedule and school which is clearly tough. Speaking from my own experience, you almost feel swamped and yet you soldier on so it’s highly respectable what LEXI is doing.
She has also delved into comedy with a little bit of magic called “3 Times A Charm” and will be in the drama “1 Chance 2 Dance”. In the latter she recalls one of her favorite bloopers: In the movie there is a cafeteria scene involving Gabby (her character) and her two new friends Dana and Jude. They’re giving Gabby the lowdown on the “Neapolitans”. Anyway during this scene, Teresa (who plays Jude) is explaining the girls’ background in a mini monologue and she was getting it perfect every time, per usual. When the girls had quite a few wonderful takes the director Adam, decided that the word slut might be too much for our PG rating, so he asked Teresa to say poop instead for one take. The next take started like all of the others, but when Teresa got to her script change, she started laughing hysterically. Well hearing Teresa, a comedian in her own right, was cracking up, LEXI couldn’t help but do the same. It took them about 20-30 minutes to be able to stop laughing. Every time they would calm down and start again, Teresa would break at the same spot.
She may be living the life as a student actress yet LEXI is getting a number of leading roles. This cherubic beauty has already made her mark in independent films which could propel her to even bigger roles in the future.

A future star in the making, CHRISTINA HOGUE has such lovable features it would lead to countless infatuation. Seeing how she’s in the first round of auditions for a possible pilot on the CW which sources say is a reference to Wonder Woman, CHRISTINA could very well be in the running for the role made famous by Lynda Carter. CHRISTINA’s wondrous fair skin are luscious as are those mesmerizing blue eyes of hers. If you’re wondering if she’d look good good in the trademark bustier and short-shorts of the beloved Amazonian heroine, have a look at her reel (above) around the 2:28 mark. The scene from the TV movie “Evan and Gareth Are Trying to Get Laid” give us a look at her voluptuous body and alluring presence assures us of her credentials to fill the shoes of a sexy comic book icon. She’s also shot a pilot last year for Nickelodeon called “Sam & Cat” in which she will play Melinda, a young dancer mom with three zany kids getting into mischief. She will star alongside teen idols Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande which could be her ticket to the big league. Other eye-catching moments she’s been part of include guest-starring on “Gossip Girl” and “Law & Order:SVU”. Don’t you love that she manages to quash the romantic hopes of one Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively). Besides possessing an ebullient beauty, CHRISTINA is ever so gracious, praising me for my energy and calling me a kind soul. As we’ve seen how Jessica Chastain has risen to acclaim, there’s every chance in the world for CHRISTINA to reach those same heights for as we know being nice in this industry does pay off.

Comediennes do have a way with words and the delightfully gorgeous MEGAN HEYN has all the right attributes to be a comedic maven. She caught the eye on “2 Broke Girls” as the dreadlocked, zen-like boulangerie owner Semhar who gets on the nerve of both Max Black (Kat Dennings) and Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs). Check out her reel (above) for the priceless scene as the 3 get into some verbal discourse that tickles me every time I view it….:) Megan gave as good as she got and has the natural flair to be the next Amy Poehler. They did star together in “Freak Dance”, the satire of dancing films such as “Footloose” and “Step Up” with Amy playing her mom. Megan plays the rebellious rich girl with a thing for street dancing and is a fetching gem who also dazzles in the singing department.

It’s been a meteoric rise for both as they went about enthralling us with their portraits of feminine archetypes. Fiona’s chemistry with Elijah Wood and Jason Gann (her shaggy man-dog) makes “Wilfred” tick and as Jenna, the driven girl-next-door, she sparkles with her charismatic sereneness. Holland opted to infuse her sexy character Lydia Martin on “Teen Wolf” with a calculative intelligence and multi-layered disposition, her rendition of the popular girl with a difference most absorbing.
