We do love the sweethearts of the independent scene and NATALIE has a refreshing geniality that beguiles. Her role as the daring skeptic Andi of a ghost hunting team on “Episode 50″ is memorable for being genuine and tense. Plenty of jump scares and eerie atmospheric moments which some have liken to being just as scary as those from “Grave Encounters”. With the cast being made up of several guys, it’s always great to see a female figure we are compelled to take a liking to and hope survives the ghostly experiences. Natalie is thoroughly fetching to the eye so it’s a given for viewers to watch her unscathed until the last frame…:)

Ever since she wowed audiences on off-Broadway in “Rock Of Ages”, it’s been a fruitful progress for her, culminating in a dramatic guest-starring part on “A Gifted Man” with Patrick Wilson recently. In fact, KELLI had previously appeared alongside Patrick as his wife in “The Switch” and he has only glowing words for this lovely brunette. She’s also had supporting roles in “Mr Popper’s Penguins”, “Confessions of a Shopaholic” and played a girl ‘Mr Twilight’ Robert Pattinson tried to pick up at a bar in the drama “Remember Me”. Now if said passion was for the telegenic KELLI, she’s destined to have a mad rush of admirers which will likely raise her profile even higher. Especially since she’s set to bring a saucy mystique to MTV’s new dramedy “I Just Want My Pants Back” as Jane, who happens to tumble into a one-night stand with the show’s leading man. In the wake of the lust at first sight, she leaves him lovelorn and very much pantless, awakening him from the slacker existence to search for the lost pants and of course his dream girl. With those sexy bangs, flirtatious brown eyes, and the requisite range needed to be enthrall viewers, KELLI is in prime position to be a sought after actress.

Indie Queen: Mary Mackey

Endorsing captivating women on Film/TV are a staple of life and the very classy MARY MACKEY effuses a stunning glow to treasure. Previously, a successful runaway model for the bigwigs of fashion such as Donna Karan and Yves Saint Laurent, she can be seen in a host of television shows as well as independent features. Mary has not only touch lives with her beauty as a performer, she’s also inspired confidence in people as an acting and life coach. Using her experience in various areas of entertainment, she’s imparted crucial know-how to help aspiring actors achieve their career goals. Mary also teaches a class on Hope at the Los Angeles Detention Center (LAMDC) which can be exhaustive and yet her perseverance in the most difficult of environments is laudable.

MARY is a lady of many gifts which brings me to her evolution as an indie starlet. In the psychological thriller “Sensored”, she was the voice of reason as Victoria, the psychiatrist of a disturbed serial killer who tries to halt his murderous instincts which proved futile and ends in a shocking climax!! Accessing the comfort level in fleshing out her role was key in depicting such a calm, non-threatening demeanor onscreen. MARY does subscribe to the notion of being comfortable in one’s skin as an actress as she has demonstrated starring alongside Don Johnson and John Schneider. Sizzling Cutie: Amy Locicero

What a way to end ScreamFest by frightening the living daylights out us with the World Premiere of “Cassadaga” and right here I’m featuring the hotties who make it all happen, one being the dazzling AMY LOCICERO. She has a pivotal role in this thriller which meshes the classic slasher with a demented serial killer and revengeful paranormal activity from the grave. You may have stumbled upon those promo pics on the web of AMY as Jennifer Eastman, the avenging female spirit, her devilishly sinister appearance formidably terrifying. As one of the victims monstrously murdered by the ‘Human Marionette’ slayer, she wreaks havoc upon a young woman by the name of Lily Morel, consequently setting off a gruesome chain of events. For someone so glowingly photogenic, kudos are to be handed out to AMY for what will be a haunting performance under some very revolting make-up or in her words truly creep-tastic! A visit to the AMY LOCICERO OFFICIAL SITE reveals she’s pretty busy on the acting front. I learned that she was in the running for “Charlie’s Angels” which has not surprisingly been canceled and faster than you can say ‘Charlie Who?’, AMY’s scored a role on MTV’s upcoming series “The Inbetweeners”.

Couch potatoes will know this is the American remake of the hit UK sitcom that reveled in its crude humor of gloating sexual conquests and British middle-class youthful awkwardness. Just as how Shameless (the other UK series that was re-imagined) gained a popular following, “The Inbetweeners” could yet be another gem and we can’t wait for AMY to sparkle, having done so before on “Drop Dead Diva”. AMY is quite the dainty beauty with a cultivated sumptuousness and research has shown women who tenderly beam are undeniably attractive at which point I allude to AMY’s fetching smile. This actress/model/host is well on her way to becoming a fixture on those perennial ‘Sexy Lists’ and she’s doing it without ever needing to be a tease.

Sizzling Cutie: Melissa Paulo

Many would have already found rising starlet MELISSA PAULO pretty scrumptious after catching her in the McDonalds McRibs Commercial way back in ’08. Her yummy status is set to thrive in 2011 since she’s spicing up both the television series “Femme Fatales” and MTV’s “Death Valley”. She did mesmerize at the recent Comic Con and from the photos I’ve seen, MELISSA is hands down a Living Doll. A model from Hawaii, her ethnicity comprises a bewitching mix of Japanese-Filipino plus slivers of European nationalities; let’s just say MELISSA is too bewitching not to be thoroughly captivated. She uses that very sexy quality to great effect on the episode “Girls Gone Dead” from “Femme Fatales” as a sorority girl who gains the ultimate revenge on a porn mogul, an obvious nod to sleazy Girls Gone Wild head honcho Joe Francis. MELISSA may have played the bookwormish Erida but there’s something dangerous brewing when the black-rimmed glasses and clothes come off. Clearly MELISSA is a delight from the get-go, at first as the innocent, smart girl and revealing her true colors as the seductress/killer. And just like she says in one of her scenes, we men can’t resist her and that’s so true even when she’s out of character.

All this means we have to keep our eyes peeled for this honey in the first two episodes of “Death Valley” premiering August 29th. In the meantime you can catch her in two web series, the Angels vs Demons “Soul Fire Rising” and the 4-part pilot “House Of Heather”. MELISSA’s gorgeous, come-hither brown eyes and tropical exotic look without question adds to her mystique. I must admit the coyness she displays in her roles is so fascinating. It’s always nice to feature striking personalities of our era and MELISSA has done her bit in getting us gushing over her.

Sexy Siren: Caity Lotz

By coincidence or not, it seems like a blonde fest so far this week and I’m continuing in the same vein with CAITY LOTZ who has already left men drooling with her tempting Esquire shoot. Be it the sly nipple exposure or the flash of her pert derrière, CAITY has the assets to sizzle! She’s also starring in the upcoming MTV Series “Death Valley” as Kirsten Landry, an excitable Undead Task Force agent and having watched the trailer, she amazed me right from the start with the astounding spinning kick! Beware Vampires, Werewolves and Zombies as you get schooled by the Princess of Hard Knocks. Check out the video (above) of CAITY teaching us how to defend against them pesky Undead horde. This girl can do some seriously high impact stunts including parkour…huge props to her athleticism and flexibility she’s honed through the years as a dancer. After all, she has toured with mega star Lady Gaga and bust those dance moves on the film “Step Up 3D”. Slated to grace the massive 2011 Edition of Comic Con in San Diego, it’s pretty much guaranteed fans will come in droves to the “Death Valley” panel to cast amorous eyes on this blossoming TV Hottie. Have you seen the pic of CAITY pursing her lips…downright Sultry! To be able to combine intense physicality and appealing sauciness is breathtaking so much so I would love to see her in “Kick Ass 2″ be it as a supervillain or an ally of Hit Girl/Kick Ass.

Remember her as Stephanie in “Mad Men”, Anna Draper’s niece who despite her desirable status doesn’t subscribe to the norms of society in the 60s, a time when women were objectified. It’s great to see for once Mr Casanova Jon Hamm unable to get his hands on an enchanting lady. We’ve seen it all before; vamps,werewolves and zombies biting for screen time (Dylan Dog comes to mind) yet MTV is hoping fans come on board in droves for its reality TV-like grit involving an Undead Task Force, pop culture humor and of course the bevy of hotties…:) Renowned for her dramatic turns in “Godspeed” and “Hamill”, she’s now spicing up Summer TV. Courtney plays Natalie who partakes in ‘Turning’ parties where blood is drained as impressionable girls turned into vamps!! Looks like Ravishing Redhead Courtney could become just as much a temptation as Deborah Ann Woll from “True Blood”.

“Femme Fatales” is undeniably one of Cinemax’s stirringly raunchy skin fests to date and it’s great that the show let the women wield the power of seduction. As protagonists with tons of feminine wilds, a host of talented actresses dish our sheer captivation usually wearing little clothing. One such yummy performer is none other than Nicole Moore who stars in the film-noirish episode “Haunted”. Miles away from the meek ladies of “Boardwalk Empire” which was an unfortunate product of that bygone era, Nicole is devilishly delicious as a woman possessed who brings death to idealistic men! The babe-heavy “Sorority Row” introduced this sexy brunette and from then on, NICOLE has left us in awe of her stimulating aura that any real-life Femme Fatale would be proud of…:)

Polly Shannon is a devastatingly gorgeous charmer that recently was a scene stealer in “Shattered” as the kooky mistress Naomi of MPD-afflicted detective Ben Sullivan. This time around in the new season of “Rookie Blue”, she plays Tori, a sassy bartender who’s a suspect in a drug smuggling case. She once admitted in an interview that she doesn’t have the boobs and the butt for some of the racier scenes but it’s likely her fans would collectively disagree. By the way in the episode “Might Have Been” (see above), Polly has a saucy kissing scene and surely by now you’re drawn to her distinctively foxy eyes that are so hypnotic! A recent review of the horror flick points to the fine screen presence of Jessica who’s the female lead. Watch out! She’s no stereotypical Miss popularity as the sensual Lydia in “Teen-Wolf” who also happens to be the brainiest student out of the whole school population. Every year we are treated to a TV show that’s unlike anything we’ve seen before. Enter the kooky comedy series “Wilfred” starring Elijah Wood and the vivacious Fiona Gubelmann. Setting up nicely for sparks to fly between the two is the strange connection that seems to draw them together. Elijah plays Ryan, the dude with suicidal tendencies, perceiving the dog owned by potential love interest Jenna (Fiona) as a man in a dog-suit (played by Jason Gann, the creator of “Wilfred”). Bizarre and hysterical situations are the order of the day. Australian accents, oddball escapist humor and of course the comely Fiona Gubelmann ensures interest for “Wilfred” will be huge. Fiona’s engaging presence as the girl-next-door will endear herself to viewers everywhere.

I’m referring to the upcoming series “Alphas” which has the always enticing Azita Ghanizada in a starring role as a woman who has the ability to heighten her senses to exceptional levels. There’s no ‘Save the Cheerleader’ campaign here; “Alphas” is more akin to CSI but instead of insight and deduction, crimes are solved with the help of extraodinary gifts. Azita herself is one of the Special Ones, mesmerizing us with her exoticness and captivating us with her dramatic flair. While she faced ups and downs during her career, Azita has now pushed into the forefront, quickly making her mark and building an ever-growing fanbase.
