When it comes to lovable accessibility, TAYA ASIMOS is living proof and she has always been an ace in the pleasingly genial department. In my opinion, when an actress keeps her fans updated on her latest projects as well as take the time to answer their Facebook posts (despite her busy schedule), she’ll steal plenty of hearts. That’s on top of her being comfortable in front of the camera and off it, her charismatic disposition the delight of many who’s worked with her as well as those whom she’s touched. Currently the enthralling TV host of “Best of the Bay” and “Best of LA”, she’s takes you to the most illustrious hotspots from San Francisco to LA. Well she did grow up in the suburbs of Burlingame, the Californian city known for its fine dining and shopping so you can say she was destined for greatness as a lifestyle hostess. Pay a visit to the TAYA ASIMOS OFFICIAL SITE and fall in love with her.
On the acting front, she first impressed in the supernatural short “The Wanderer” as a woman who believes her cousin’s death is not one of suicide but something more sinister. Then she went on to fulfill her comedic potential in several webseries which can be seen on “Funny or Die” and the humorously, under-rated “The Samurai of Strongsville, Ohio”. There’s 3 sweethearts in this one with TAYA joining Camille Mana and Abby Wathen, all of whom are a pleasure to watch. Actually, I first saw her in the erotic indie “Orgies and The Meaning Of Life as Samantha, the very first love of a lothario who can only perform in bed when he dreams of mass sex. Check out the scene (above) where one of his fantasies is re-enacted with every one of his conquests spelling out his bed manners in a steamy jacuzzi. Sounds more like a nightmare when all your dirty laundry is laid out to bare although no dude would mind having so many beautiful ladies in his presence and TAYA is indeed one to get excited about. When it comes to blue-eyed blondes who can fuel undivided fascination, TAYA ASIMOS is your gal.
Texan actress/model ELLE LAMONT is completely breathtaking when she pulls of the Classic Hollywood Look and there’s a bombshell quality about her that would make anyone swoon. Seeing her sizzle in the red bikini (above) reminds me of the memorable pool scene in “Fast Times At Ridgemont High” where Phoebe Cates titillated a generation of impressionable youth. If they ever remade that definitive teen movie, I reckon ELLE has to be a top candidate to reprise Phoebe’s role as the foxy Linda Barrett. Certainly an appearance in a sex comedy would be a departure from the troubled souls she’s been depicting thus far. She went to the extreme as a drug-addled mother seeking revenge on vampires who took the life of her son in “The Devil’s Gravestone. Excellently shouldering the darkness enveloping her character Jaq, ELLE is both beautiful and a tower of strength in spite of her loss as she embarks on her bitter vengeance. Recently she was part of the cast that was awarded “Best Cast Ensemble” Award at the Best Actors Film Festival in San Francisco for their sterling work on thriller “Strings”. Shining yet again as a wife of a perturbed musician whose life turns awry when he seeks experimental help to turn his life around, she conveyed such tenderness, moving audiences at a screening to tears.
ELLE LAMONT is a former Miss Texas USA pageant contestant as well as a Texas Bikini Team National Finalist, hence ELLE’s alluring photos are a must see at her Model Mayhem Page. The gorgeous olive-skinned features of this brown-eyed actress does mean she has an exoticness that has allowed her to be cast as either a Caucasian, Hispanic, Italian, Greek or Native American. Unquestionably bewitching onscreen, she backs it up with plenty of punch and dramatic flair. Watch out for this dazzler of an indie talent as she continues to be rousing in each role she undertakes.
REYNA YOUNG – Miss Misery and Hostess Of A Nightmare To Remember
You most certainly can call Reyna Young a Woman To Remember..:) Her passion has propelled A Nightmare To Remember, her film fest where darkness and seduction reign supreme to the forefront of independent horror. Having been the seductive hostess for this convention 4 years running, Reyna aka Miss Misery has been your enigmatic guide to all things terrifying that strike fear into our hearts. This year on June 18th, she has assembled a luscious group of special guests and a film selection that will cater to all your needs….the bloody and gory kind of course. Just like the Devil’s Pitchfork, Reyna has join forces with vixens Megan Franich and Debra Lamb to from the enticing threesome I affectionately coined ‘Trident Of Horror Hotties’. Reyna should be lauded for being an inspirational figure for giving us a night’s worth of wicked macabre.
MEGAN FRANICH – “30 Days Of Night” Fame and Special Guest
The ethereal doll Megan Franich is my first ever feature on a New Zealand Actress and what a thrill a minute she is…:) Renowned as Iris, the goth female vamp from “30 Days Of Night”, she conveyed the fierce animal instincts of a predator and a foreboding of terror that gets under the viewer’s skin. Even in her ghoulish form we felt sympathy as her character met an untimely end. Audiences were mesmerized by how scarily similar her portrayal in the movie was to the illustrations of Iris as depicted in the graphic novel. Check out her amazing reel (above) that showcases the onscreen potency we all know she has. Besides her comely accent, Megan’s flawless pale skin and minxish features are some of the attributes that make her so uniquely sexy. This attractive Kiwi champions being a chameleon and experimenting with extremes in her projects affirming her versatility as an entertainer.
DEBRA LAMB – Scream Queen Legend and Special Guest
Considered as one of the most striking B-Movie Queens of all-time, Debra Lamb has headlined countless films most notably her outstanding performance in the under-rated “Evil Spirits”. From post-apocalyptic tales to grisly slashers, it has been said that Debra exuded a kind of magic that was such a rush for the best part of a decade. The fact that she went topless in several softcore movies shouldn’t go unnoticed too as her sin-sational toned body and nubile sauciness made her the fantasy babe for many. She was after all, an exotic dancer and a Playboy Cover Girl. While I didn’t get as much opportunity to sample her sexy self (back in the day censorship when was rife in Asia), I can see why she’s revered for being an erotic force throughout her career. She clearly contributed to numerous defining moments in the horror genre. Presently, Debra is a well-known physic healer helping to relieve our stressed-up lives but plenty out there are clamoring for Debra to make her long awaited comeback with rumors swirling.
The delicious trailer for “Candy” is a must see as its leading lady Sage Hall amps up the sensuality in this sweetest of horror shorts. Unquestionably, she has her amorous ways to get us excited especially seeing how voluptuously slinky she is in those black camisoles. Playing an overprotective mother who has a penchant for baking goodies, she really has some tasty treats in store…:) While this feature smacks of invigorating nostalgia thanks to the brilliant Sage who functioned as both the director and star, it has a distinctive tone that stands on its own merit. Sage is a heady combo of blue-eyed blonde bombshell and enticing innocence. Don’t know about you, but there’s just something about sexy cuties like Sage that I can’t get enough of. Blossoming nicely into one of independent film’s newest prospect in front and behind the camera, this is an up and comer we want to hear more about. She possesses a drive to make her mark on the indie scene and it won’t be long before this honey has everyone eating out of her hands…:)
In the coming months, actress/producer/writer Brooke Lewis is going to be ever present in some of the most fascinating projects independent horror has to offer. Her fans already know her as Ms. Vampy, her alter-ego with seriously foxy bite that has became a huge hit. Taking on leading roles in highly anticipated features “Archaic Redemption” and “Mondo Holocausto” will surely see her popularity rise even further as she welcomes us into her luscious world. This Buxom brunette and photogenic beauty has tons of sass to captivate viewers for days on end. Having started her own company Philly Chick Pictures to produce entertainment with an attitude (in her words), she’s just as influential behind the scenes. Sprinkles is her newest short psychological drama/thriller that has her playing a High-priced call girl, Maura who has a seemingly chance encounter with a client, Gary (Don Danielson), while on a business trip that will take them on journey of dirty secrets, fetishes and revenge…WOW! Brooke has got me hooked!
Widely touted as a big reason why viewers watch “Reno 911″, MARY BIRDSONG is a first-class beacon of entertainment. A comedian, writer, and singer, MARY has embodied various noteworthy figures on both TV and Film. She was the publicist of Dr Loomis (played by Malcolm McDowell) in “Halloween 2″ and of course provided amazing comic relief as Deputy Cherisha Kimball of “Reno 911″ with her bumbling attempts at law enforcement. It’s the impressive way she creates these distinctive alter-egos with ease that highlights her remarkable ability to please a diverse spectrum of audience. One of her more engrossing ones being 99 Cent Whore which in her words is an off-Broadway musical, a film, an album and a band rolled into one. The awkward southern spontaneity she espouses while strumming the guitar is endearingly funny and packed with sardonic wit. Pretty soon she’ll bowl you over once again as the co-star of George Clooney in the bittersweet comedy ‘The Descendants”. In the trailer (above), she (as Kai) has to reveal to Mr Clooney (as Matt King) the identity of the man who committed adultery with his late wife. I’m envisioning lots of amusing banter between the two of them.
If anyone wants to know why I label MARY BIRDSONG as Sexy, one has to look at the numerous glam up photos she’s in that populate her Facebook Fan Pages. By the way MARY reads her fan mail in her bikini (see clip above) and that must surely encourage many to check her out in the coming Summer months. Don’t forgot to drop by the MARY BIRDSONG OFFICIAL SITE as she has some interesting morsels of information and videos to share. There’s an air of excitement as she’s appearing in Tales of the City. Running from May 18 – July 10 at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA, there’s a rumor she goes topless on stage as Mona Ramsey….I’m guessing right now you have a sudden impulse to find out…hehe. MARY BIRDSONG has more than pull off her accolade as “Hollywood’s Top 10 Talents On The Rise” and providing the delightful tonic we’ve been craving for.

10 QUESTIONS WITH VOLUPTUOUS HOTTIE ALEXANDRA ACKERMAN
1. You are one of the sexiest women in the world but what really defines being sexy in Alexandra Ackerman’s world?
A: Ha! So kind! I think being sexy comes from within..it comes from always knowing who you are. Ever since I was a child I knew who i was, my passions, and I have always stayed true to myself. I think when you are confident and know who you are and possess kind/good values that is truly sexy. Also, being an exotic mix hasn’t hurt my career either!
2. What made you catch the acting bug and what has been the most exciting part of your career?
A: Acting and singing have been my passions since a young age. When i was a child my grandparents took me to see live musicals – and I was hit with the acting/singing bug-so since a young age it has been in my blood. My father and mother are creative and talented so it was literally in my blood! I love live theater and singing and I also love working in film and television. I have pretty high expectations in every area of my life and I do with my career-I’d say the excitement never stops and I will let you know when i get to the “most” exciting part! I would love to be Broadway…..bet ya didn’t know that!
3. Can you tell us about your latest feature “The Brothers Cannibal” and what was it like working with Scream Queen Elissa Dowling?
A: Because I got to play the awesome character role of Maude – a gypsy woman who is sexually charged and lusts after the main character – it was very fun to play a character role for once! Elissa is awesome – we didn’t have any scenes together but we were both on set because she had a scene before my scenes. She is a really personable actress and pretty hot as well.
4. Having played pretty, seductive characters in the films “Interstate” and “My Confession”, what would your dream role be?
A: Dream role – I have never filmed a period piece – I think a period role would be fun. I do enjoy playing those seductress roles and edgy characters because even though these are parts of me I am a pretty non edgy and a non aggressive person..and def not a crazy seductress…hehe.
5. Is it tough to be in this industry and do you think women get enough recognition especially in the indie scene?
A: This industry is beyond tough. Especially because there is no security. I believe talent, skill, and dedication prevail. I love the indie scene because i want to be in character driven stimulating pieces. I like blockbuster films as well..but indie films tend to focus heavily on a few characters vs many plus action/visuals.
6. What are the fundamental differences in performing on film as opposed to modeling?
A: Modeling and acting are similar…when I shoot I try to embody a feeling or persona..I do the same with acting. With acting there is of course more research and in depth analytical work involved…but it is still emotionally based – its an essence you are trying to convey on film and in shoots. You want the audience/viewers to see and walk away with a feeling…
7. Which is your favorite all time movie and why?
A: I do not have a favorite movie – i enjoy so many, however I am a big fan of “Heavenly Creatures” with Kate Winslet and Melanie Lynskey. They are amazing actresses and the film was so engrossing, touching and titillating…and yes disturbing…I like films with imagination, grit, and fantasy.
8. Can you tell us more about your burgeoning singing career and the musical style you embody?
A: I have always performed in musicals and plays. I went to a performing arts high school which taught me how to balance. I had regular classes then drama and musical theater classes plus if I had a main-stage show-rehearsals. After high school i majored in theater arts in college and while in school i performed in community theater then regional theater. I was very fortunate to build my resume while in college. I am an LA native from Hollywood! So I am in LA and i have been in shows in LA, San Francisco and Nevada. I have also booked tours of musicals. I love singing and it is as much a passion for me as acting. I am unique as far as what styles i like to sing-no pop or rock for me although I do listen to pop and rock. I love to sing show tunes and jazz. When I am not in a show I fill my time with singing showcases and contests and open mikes to get that vocal release and experiment! I love singing with live musicians-its a rush.
9. How do you take the love and adoration from your fans even those that may come from distant countries?
A: Fans are the best support group around! i send my headshots all over and with gratitude. It feels great to know people appreciate your work.
