She is continuing her dexterous ways only this time facing zombies in the soon to be released flick “Toxin”. I’ve been waiting a long time to feature her and finally found the opportune moment to be caught in SHELLY’s web and so should you. After all, she is one of the stars of “Spiders 3D”, the newest creature feature to crawl up your skin this Halloween. The sci-fi terror tale is screening this Friday at the Freakshow Film Festival 2012 in Orlando, Florida and early buzz indicate it’s going to be a monster movie to enjoy. Seeing how those huge spiders descended from outer space setting itself apart from the chemically mutated ones in the 2002 horror comedy “Eight-legged freaks”, they’re gonna take some stopping! Plus Scream Queen Christa Campbell is in the cast with SHELLY who together will be more than just eye-candy amidst all the nasty web-crawling carnage.
SHELLY was previously seen in another Syfy original “Morlocks”, the fantasy flick of monstrosities running amok after time-traveling their way onto Earth. Her recurring role as Sandra Bell on “Alphas” sees her as the overprotective mother of Gary who we all know is extraordinary yet behaviorally flawed. The mechanics of her relationship with her son is both plausible and complicated in light of his autism with JANE putting across her emotional dichotomy as a concerned matriach impressively. We hope to see even more developments regarding her story arc as Sandra on “Alphas” although viewers can catch more of JANE in her guest appearance on the new medical drama “Saving Hope”. Certainly, it’s on television that her presence is steadily anchored having also appeared in other sci-fi shows such as “The Listener” and the Katie Holmes fronted mini-series “The Kennedys”.
