Standout stunners are constantly celebrated on the Actress Obession Blog and the visually alluring MINNI JO MAZZOLA can definitely spark a healthy devotion. Famed for her role as Natalie Ludgate, sister of April Ludgate played by Aubrey Plaza on “Parks and Recreation”, she caught the eye even if her character spots a dour demeanor. One can tell there’s a unique physical attractiveness about MINNI, a rock star temptress who will never fail to stir our senses. She can be seen doing just that on the new sitcom “Second Shot” premiering on April 5th. As Ty, a street smart girl who bats for the same side, her fashion sense is as beguiling as her surliness on this witty show. Love that starlets such as MINNI and her peers (think Krysten Ritter) are reeling us in with their captive beauty.
Being multi-talented, MINNI has some powerful pipes which has seen a fan on Youtube even calling her the female version of Morrissey, the former Smiths frontman! Her musical skills even extend to her abilities to play the flute, guitar and bass as well as appearing as a video vixen. She’s also a trained ballet, modern, and jazz dancer. Enthrallment is something MINNI can muster on consistently prompting us to readily await her next desirable appearance. She’s just informed me that she’s in a metal band! WOOT! Call her one of the most ravishing women on this planet and ROMINA D’UGO would fall in the category of beauties to be idolized. The Toronto-born actress is a Goddess thanks in part to her Italian heritage and she also has some serious talents, making her an all-round sizzler. ROMINA can certainly do it all whether as a singer, actress and even dancer where she was in the top 20 dancers on “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”. One of the accolades bestowed upon her was her Gemini nomination in 2011 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series. It was for her leading role as Zoe, a struggling dancer looking to become a star in “Turn The Beat Around” with David Giuntoli who we all know has achieved fame on the hit series “Grimm”. If you needed any more proof of how enticing she can be, watch ROMINA as the thief Natalie Hurst on the latest season of “Republic Of Doyle”. It’s a performance that’s both saucily eye-catching and peppered with an audacious cheekiness.
As the foxy robber/killer Natalie, ROMINA does play the seductive card effortlessly and gave the men on “Republic Of Doyle” quite the run-around. As the femme fatale on the series, ROMINA has mentioned that apparently the publishers for the French Curriculum text books across Canada think she’s appropriate to be featured in one of the chapters of the book. Now students across Canada will have to read about her career as part of the curriculum…wow! It’s no coincidence that the more you watch ROMINA the more you’ll be yearning for her, the bewitching effect she has on viewers is without question. In the drama about “Mile a Minute Harry”, the man who built a retail empire, Josephine is every bit as chic as she is in real life. Best known for being the centre of attention in one of Agent Provocateur’s sauciest video to date, the Parisian beauty oozes a confidence bordering on the sexual. She does indeed look good in skimpy lingerie, something everyone hopes she will entertain thoughts of posing for our eyes once more.
I love how she remarked that one doesn’t have to be an object of desire but instead work on surpassing that. Listening to her sweetly seductive French accent, Josephine has more than enough charm to woo us. That would include her vocals as one-half of Singtank, the dream pop band she started with her brother. Besides being insanely gorgeous, she has an intelligence many will find to be refreshing. Rising Starlet: Olivia Henry

It’s been a while since I’ve done an online interview with a beguiling talent and OLIVIA HENRY happens to be an actress/singer who can drive you wild. Her devilishly sexy eyes are certain to have an hypnotizing effect and she has the desirable looks that would dazzle in a role of any era. So without further ado, I’ll let her enthrall as she talks about starring in “Werewolf In a Girls Sorority” screening on October 15th and how she prefers to essay dark roles as an actress.
1. Give us a little insight about your role in “Werewolf in a Girls Sorority” and what was it like working on the film.
Donna Sommers was Andy’s “clumsy girl” of the film. I think he likes watching me fall and make a fool out of myself. Ha. I’m pretty good at it. Working on the film I would liken to having a BBQ pool party with a bunch of awesome people while having great conversations over drinks. It was so much fun! Never feels like work.
2. How stoked are you that “Werewolf in a Girls Sorority” is screening at the Twin Cities Film Fest 2012? Will you be dazzling up the red carpet?
I’m so stoked! That’s actually just the word I would use too… It’s fantastic! I’m so thrilled to be a part of what Andy is creating! His ideas and execution of his work is so different then anything that I have worked on in the past, or anything that’s being done today for that matter. I wish that I could be there for the red carpet, but unfortunately I won’t be able to make this one. Maybe next year if I’m so lucky.
3. What would be your dream role?
That’s a hard one to answer, I have so many dream roles! But the first thing that comes to my head is I’ve not yet seen an amazing biopic on the incomparable Maria Callas. I spent many years training as a classical vocalist and it would be my dream to pay homage to one of my biggest idols. It’s said she died of a broken heart.
4. Who is the one actor you can’t wait to star with and why?
I know so many people say this but its obvious why, Jim Carrey. He’s fucking brilliant. But if we are going to go a little bit of a less transparent route I’d say Vera Farmiga. Her subtleties on screen make my head spin. I love her, I love everything she does.
5. Your focus has shifted to music recently. Can you tell us more about life as a singer?
I actually started as a singer. It was my first love and closest to my heart. People often ask me which I would rather do, and my answer is always both. It all stems from the same place, performance is performance. For me though it is much scarier singing my songs then acting in anything. You put your soul on the line when you write your own music, and there is a rush you get when you perform those songs in front of a live audience. I’ve become addicted to it. I’m also going to be releasing my first E.P. by the end of this year! I’m super excited and terrified of course.
6. I read that you’re a gamer and did some voice-over for 3D games. What’s the most fun aspect of that experience?
I am! Voice over is a blast, and one of my favorite things to do. I worked on a project by Square ENIX a bit ago called “Front Mission Evolved”. I played Adela, Wizard and Gloria for voice over and I did the motion capture for those characters as well. I can’t tell you enough how much fun it was. You get paid to make up crazy voices for different characters in my case, and play “make believe” with little glowing balls covering your body. What’s better then that?!
7. Actors regularly live out the different facets of a character. What are the type of roles that get you excited?
Dark. Twisted. I like to dig deep for roles, playing characters that are very different then myself. Villains for example. These characters tend to be more multifaceted, so that gives me a lot of room to play and plenty for a director to mold with. I’m also a big fan of period pieces, dialects are my forte and my look tends to lend itself well to the past.
8. Any juicy updates on your future projects?
Well, I’m excited to say that my album is nearly complete, which means performances and a possible tour. A film noir piece is in the works with KJ Downes as well as a beautiful, heart breaking Indie called “The Fifth Season” by up and coming writer David Trisko. Sandra McCoy and I (who is also in Werewolf) are also going to be in a new Web Series together. I don’t think I can say the name quite yet, but it is in the works.
9. If given the choice, which is the one country besides the US you would want to spend time filming a feature?
Italy. Hands down. I unfortunately have not been over seas yet, but from my own studies and friends stories, I think it might be one of the most beautiful places on the planet. I want to go there.
10. Finally, is there anything you would like to tell your fans and admirers out there?
Thank you so much! I’m unbelievable grateful and humbled by your support and I’ll keep putting stuff out there for your viewing and listening pleasure! And please check out my music and like me on the OLIVIA HENRY FACEBOOK PAGE. Thank you again!
