Rest assured that on the independent scene, there’s a bevy of up and comers such as the stunning AVA BRUNINI who exudes such an enticing persona. She stars in the newest slasher called “Into The Woods” which is survival horror set in the outskirts of LA and chances are AVA may just be the Final Girl! A natural at projecting the captivating facets required, she’s a dream girl in our eyes. It’s also great to see her plying her trade in interesting genres such as those of the terror persuasion.
In the sci-fi horror flick “Solid State”, AVA rubs shoulders with esteemed Scream Queens Debbie Rochon and Suzi Lorraine. There’s zombies and mayhem as an American Rock Band encounters a meteor which is the source of chaos in this tongue-in-cheek satire. AVA’s character Cynthia is a cross between a saucy cowgirl and hippie chick, pulling off the look with consummate ease. In fact, she’s been lauded as being notably beautiful onscreen by Miss Suzi Lorraine herself and we couldn’t agree more. AVA also into the thick of the action and who doesn’t want to see a very hot girls with huge guns shooting them zombies! Check out the cool video (above) of both AVA and DEBBIE in a first-person-shooter sequence…:) AVA could herself be heading towards fame as a blossoming Scream Queen and we’ll be there to watch it happen.

Brainy, beautiful and unquestionably stunning, YVETTE YATES is adept at steaming up the screen as she is beguiling us off it. The accolades also keep coming for this luscious Hispanic actress who has firmly entrenched herself into the hearts of viewers. From a string of high profile roles to being called hotter than Megan Fox by the man on the street, YVETTE is en route to a period of sustained fame. She will be starring in the upcoming revenge thriller “In The Blood” alongside mixed martial artist Gina Carano and Danny Trejo as well as in the drama “Free Ride” with Anna Paquin. But before that, she is making a splash in two new horror features which has some of the sexiest women ever assembled. In “Sorority Party Massacre”, Yvette takes on the persona of ballbuster Sloan who is the dominatrix among the 5 girls competing in a competition to win a grant. There’s also the foxy Marissa Skell and Eve Mauro, both of whom have already made their presence felt in varying forms of media and on my blog. Certainly, YVETTE will do likewise and remind everyone of her hypnotic allure.
Next up is “The Red House” where in this one, psychological horror is more apparent as a young woman invites her friends to her inherited home only to encounter madness and a sadistic murderer. Expectedly the red in the movie’s title refers to the copious amount of blood that will be shed and this is another thrilling flick that has YVETTE in captivating mode. It’s endearing to know she also advocates the importance of education within the craft of acting, imploring those around her to learn as much as they can. Her moment in the spotlight is now and she could soon be the IT Girl of her generation.

ANDREA DEPAUL is one ravishing cutie we’ll be gushing about with vociferous passion. The olive toned actress of Portuguese and Guyanese descent is immensely appealing and if there’s an inclination towards her stunning facets, it would be so appropriate. She can be seen in “The Boy Who Smells Like Fish” at the Miami International Film Festival 2013 which has just kicked off. There’s some unique and heavenly faces in this dramedy namely Zoë Kravitz, Adriana Gil and of course ANDREA who each have their merits for such a quirky feature.
Here’s a snippet from ANDREA herself about “The Boy Who Smells Like Fish:
“This project was a project I really enjoyed working on. Its a Dark comedy that touches on the issues of what its like to be “different” and how society perceives the people who sometimes struggle with it. My character Denise has a nervous issue…. thats the best I can say without giving it away. The crew and cast were so lovely. The hired character actors and I learned a lot from them. The scenes are actually so funny that while we were shooting, the cast and crew would break out laughing and then we would have to reshoot it.”
ANDREA has also been prevalent on television, appearing in a number of hit shows such as “Beauty and The Beast”, “Covert Affairs” and “The Firm”. The camera absolutely loves ANDREA and there will be a succession of viewers quick to extol her attractively exotic traits.

“I live in Toronto, so working here is great, very convenient. Beauty and The Beast is the best set and cast to be on. As being part of an ensemble cast in this particular episode we were all so pleasantly surprised as to how well we got along while the cameras were not rolling. I was working directly with Kristen Kreuk, Nicole Anderson, Nicole Steinwendell and Rachel Skarsten. We had such great chemistry and we genuinely all liked each other I think that really worked to our benefit while we were shooting our scenes.”
“I really enjoy working on American productions because I get the opportunity to work with actors I wouldn’t normally get a chance to work with. Toronto has a small community of working actors. That means you often times work with the same people on different productions They bring in american actors to work on these US productions and I just benefit as an actor from working with them. When I did Covert Affairs I worked closely with Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes) and he was so lovely. He gave me some great advice and was so professional and courteous. Probably one of the nicest actors I have had the pleasure of working with.
“The most star struck I have been on set was working with Callum Keith Rennie on The Firm. I am a big fan of his work. So I was very nervous to work with him. He intuitively sensed that i was nervous so we rehearsed our material for 30 mins before we shot it. He was very kind.”
ANDREA has also worked on a web series called “Off 2 Kali” where she plays Sabrina in the episode called “I think I know you”. She’s ever so comfortable in the comedy genre and we can’t wait to see more. Being photogenic, she shot a series of pics with the Amazing Director/Photographer TJ Scott (from Spartacus). He is actually creating a coffee table book called “In The Tub” which will feature potraits of Actors/Singers/Artists with a common them of being “In the Tub” The book will be published late May and be available for purchase in stores in North America as well as online at Amazon. The profits of the book are being donated to Breast cancer research and ANDREA is very excited to be part of this charitable project. With her being visible on so many platforms, ANDREA is going to be sought after in no time!

With only 6 days more before the Palm Springs International Film Festival 2013 ends, I realized that I almost miss the glitzy affair and the movies which showcased the talents of actresses around the world. If there’s one actress that embodies the glamorous look of classic Hollywood then DALILAH has the allure from a charismatic era. Having seen her pics where she gave tribute to bobbed-hair 1920s Louise Brooks, she pulls off the free-spirited exquisiteness of the raven-haired icon to perfection. The casting of DALILAH in “Joshua Tree, 1951: A Portrait of James Dean” is a master-stroke especially when she is stunning from every angle. It goes without saying she’s an international model, gracing high profile publications.
Does it matter that “Joshua Tree, 1951: A Portrait of James Dean” is in black and white as DALILAH paints a pretty picture in the role of Violet, a downcast actress who dispenses advice to Jimmy Dean himself. In this time of beautiful women, TAYLOR ORCI is significantly beguiling and a comedic actress to take note of. She kicked off Season 2 of the Adult Swim series “NTSF:SD:SUV” with her appearance as Whitney, a cheerleader who gets into a feisty tangle with the undercover Piper (June Diane Raphael) over a boy. Strikingly exquisite is how I would exemplify JOANNA KE and having come across photos of her at the premiere of “Find Me” at the Hollywood Film Festival 2012, she’s 100% beguiling. The industry needs more stunning, diverse faces like hers and when she graced the red carpet alongside Cristen Irene, another actress who I admire, it exhibited her passion for the independent scene. I first saw her in the horror flick “The Crypt” where she was part of a beautiful group of thieves hoping to cash in on jewelry hidden in the catacombs underneath their hometown. Of course they find out there’s a deadly price to pay with ghouls demanding their version of deathly repayment for the sacrilege. Notable as the panic-stricken tomb raider Adriana, JOANNA acquitted herself competently in the role.
