Take a liking to the beguiling TESSA MUNRO who this week has hasten the adoration that’s coming her way. On the new series “Perception”, she appears as Jolene Gray, a woman with an obsessive shopping habit (watch the scene above) who happens to be a murder suspect. She’s amazingly exquisite on television and I had long wondered how actresses simulate the welling of tears, something which TESSA depicts admirably. The female quotient in the criminal drama on TNT is a treat for the eyes with TESSA joining leading ladies Rachael Leigh Cook and Kelly Rowan on the second episode “Faces”. Such is the appeal of TV sirens of the modern era that we’ve constantly can’t stop praising their comeliness.
Being exposed to this array of talented women right up till today is a boon especially when they’re so approachable as TESSA has been. People still keep asking me how I’ve managed to contact actresses online and thanks to social media, I’m constantly grateful for the opportunity to touch base with them. Seeing TESSA reciprocating with a message of thanks for supporting her spurs me on even further as an Actress Lover. It’s worthwhile to keep TESSA in our sights for she’s likely to be one of the screen sweethearts we’ll be yearning for…:)

Tipped to be a blossoming leading lady, RACHEL ALIG has a red-hot sexiness that’s unforgettable. Just as her blissfully sweet performance in “Bikini Spring Break”, RACHEL goes beyond being a sex bomb onscreen and genuinely shines in the light-hearted moments of the raunchy comedy. Granted her curves are 100% delectable in or out of a bikini, the stunning brunette possesses the versatility to portray sentiments from funny to the more vampish. One may say we’ve been fed our share of band camp sex romps and the foxy women in them yet RACHEL offers a freshly humorous spin on her kooky character Alice. While “Bikini Sping Break” is reminiscent of say “Revenge Of The Nerds” seeing how the ultimate geek Robert Carradine guest stars, the film is a love affair we can’t stop indulging in.
A lot of credit should be shown to RACHEL and the largely female cast for affirming there’s entertaining stories to be told even if the sight of boobies are now commonplace. You will be vividly enthralled with RACHEL’s upcoming role as Becky Rooks in “Officer Down”, a young female rookie cop who experiences a loss of control during a routine traffic stop where she is assaulted. She’s stepping up her game in an emotionally-charged dramatization of the human frailty of life when things can often go sideways. You can almost perceive a big part is due to fall into the lap of one as talented as RACHEL…:)

Angelic and sexy KIMBETTE FENOL possesses the sassy factor to enliven things up both on and off set. This Filipino/Chinese/Portuguese babe who hails from Boston has been on both sides of the camera, steadily enhancing her craft. Active in a host of independent films, she’s about to excite viewers in “Early Grave”, a dark tale of vengeance. Early signs point to a film that’s generating buzz and could very well be the rise of KIMBETTE as a terror hottie. In fact, she has opened up about making her mark as a Scream Queen!

SUSANA GIBB has always brought depth to the myriad of roles she’s undertaken, leaving us with a sense of wonderment each time. Her ability to develop the complexity of characters defines her as a performer. Be it as a damsel in distress or as a perky housewife, she instills a soulfulness that’s consistently riveting. Could it be those ravishing green eyes of hers that keeps viewers coming back for more? With her snagging a part in the upcoming TV Series “Dallas” (continuing the tradition of classic soaps), watch for her to rise in prominence pretty soon.
SUSANA deserves praise for her portrayal in “The Other Side Of Paradise”, a gem of the independent scene. She added much offbeat charm to the road comedy starring fellow actress Arianne Martin. By far in one of the best indie stories I’ve seen, to be in awe of SUSANA’s is alluding to the bundles of talent she displays onscreen. On a day when i received close to 200 Birthday greetings where SUSANA was one of the first to post on my facebook wall, she deserves some love in return with this feature. She has also appeared in the much vaunted film “Earthling”, the trippy tale of aliens donning human form and proves yet again how comfortable she is in a host of genres. Accolades should be just around the corner for SUSANA…:)

Thanks to the much-talked about horror flick “Cassadaga”, we’re treated to upcoming actress Christina Bach whom we will be openly enamored with soon enough. The dedication she shows for her role as Gabriella is to be commended, having gone through the arduous 6-7 hours of makeup to get into character! They have even depicted one of the disturbing moments she has onscreen on the “Cassadaga” teaser poster (above)…yes that’s right, the woman being strung up like a puppet is really Christina in all her blood-soaked glory. If you didn’t manage to catch the world premiere of “Cassadaga” at ScreamFest, the supernatural thriller is showing at Bram Stoker Film Festival on the final week of October coinciding with Halloween of course and another chance to catch CHRISTINA. Her passion and knowledge for the horror genre itself is unparalleled and on a recent podcast, she waxes lyrical about her love for the old school terrors of George C. Scott’s “The Changeling” and the heart-pounding suspense of “28 Days Later”…well, her latest feature “Two Headed Shark Attack” does combine both those aforementioned elements although of a feral, nature gone wrong kind. It’s not just the double-cranium Mutant Shark taking center stage as CHRISTINA stars alongside Brooke Hogan and Carmen Electra, the foxy threesome flaunting their curves while kicking some monstrous fish’s ass! Could we see the rise of riveting female action stars in the mold of “Jaws” alumni Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss??
CHRISTINA has also shown her potential in the indie arena with Sean Hackett, her director on the drama “Homecoming” praising her for possessing an absorbing emotional intelligence as an actress and for her ability to create a rapport with audiences. I did manage to catch snippets of CHRISTINA realizing her promise on hit shows “The Glades” and “Army Wives” even if those appearances were brief. She’s eye-catching, enthusiastically talented and best of all a true sweetheart.

There’s something about Latin or part-Latin actresses that regularly has us gushing over them and GINA LA PIANA is endowed with an unmistakable magnetism. You must have seen “Colombiana” like I did recently whereby Zoe Saldana was all highly-charged raciness. Then I came across GINA with her foxy mix of Italian, Spanish and Puerto Rican and I was equally hooked. Her arresting Latin-European looks and delectable curves provoking a different kind of fascination as opposed to the slinky hotness of Zoe. When Esquire comes calling for a photo shoot, it’s no surprise that GINA is ranked as one of the sexiest women alive joining the illustrious company of Katrina Bowden and Minka Alley before her. Even though rumors still abound that she had a ‘lesbian tryst in the shower’ scene in the gripping thriller “30 Days To Die”, she did shed a little of her Sex Bomb image as tough chick Sophia and going toe-to-toe with a George Bush masked killer.
She does however get involved in some sexy high-jinks in her upcoming film “Black Widow”, a tale of massage and murder with Jennifer O’Dell, Rachel Hunter, Janine Turner and Joanna Pacula rounding off a delicious cast.
