Vintage has become the hottest thing to hit TV Screens since “Mad Men” and this jet-setting new series aims to be just as sensational. The nostalgic female-centric plot lines are a welcome sight with an attractive cast who comfortably wear their sex appeal as all stewardesses often radiate. There’s a group of fresh faces such as Aussie Margot Robbie, French-Canadian Karine Vanasse as well as the fetching Bettina joining Christina Ricci and Kelli Garner, in all likelihood leaving audiences feeling as if they’re been on Cloud 9. Many must have seen the on-set photo of Bettina in a patterned red dress embodying 60s glamor and she does have the sophisticated beauty to look the part. Together with the swanky series “The Playboy Club”, retro revival is flying high!
The iconic Marilyn Monroe once said “I think that sexuality is only attractive when it’s natural and spontaneous.” and chancing upon an interview BETTINA gave, I found that she too subscribes to the spontaneity and flexibility of life. After all, she’s also a casting director and being on both sides of the fence has indeed been beneficial for her as an actress, allowing for a very meaningful insight into the casting process. BETTINA has been in several independent movies and in 2012 can be seen in the dark drama “Surviving Family” about a woman who meets a half-sister borne from her father’s infidelity. Let’s start appreciating this telegenic lady for she has every chance of being a star on the horizon.

Blondes have and will always be a recipe for infatuation that I continually find hard to resist. Am I lucky or what to be an acquaintance of not one but two lovely ladies who exudes sexiness as well as a very pleasing congeniality. I’m of course talking about the delightful duo of Kimber Leigh and Danae McKillop. Together they have pool their impeccable talents to give us the enjoyable short “Sweet Connections” which is premiering at Phoenix Comicon on May 28th during the Local Comedy Block. I’m truly indebted to Kimber for sending me her luscious collection of autographed photos and elated that Danae included me in her ever growing droves of fans. Blonde Bombshells in their own right, both should be amorously adored…;)

For me, Clare Kramer will always be fondly remembered in the under-rated flick “The Thirst” as the drug-addicted terminally ill woman recruited into a vampire cult. Recently, I saw her in the indie thriller “Endure” as a kidnapped woman tied for days on a tree for the pleasure of a demented killer….yet again the blonde siren is at her riveting best. Away from the camera, Clare has been called Smart and Funny, a testament to her bubbly, warm disposition. If you’re a fervent devotee, there’ll be a Clare Kramer Spotlight come Saturday May 28th at Phoenix Comicon…that’s Unmissable!
Many of her fans probably can’t wait for Fall to arrive after finding out that Horror Princess Deneen Melody was cast as one of the Original Bunnies in NBC’s pilot of “The Playboy Club. From an early photo, the curvaceous Deneen epitomizes the sumptuous traits of a Playboy Bunny we’ve come to love..:) It’s been a booming year for her with Slices Of Life, Rose White and the remake of “Don’t Look In The Basement” expected to evoke avid reaction. She’s also starring in the award-winning web series “Western X” ensuring her blend of enigmatic delivery, acting versatility and pin-up allure will have us constantly addicted.

KRISTIN BAUER in “True Blood”
It’s easy to fathom why couch potatoes have an ardent hunger for Kristin Bauer. If you’re talking about seductiveness in the shape of a female vampire then Ingrid Pitt would be the icon of such temptation. As Pamela Swynford De Beaufort in “True Blood”, Kristin has a similarly lust-inducing appeal that Ingrid herself would be proud of if she were still alive. No doubt she’ll be steaming up the Phoenix Comicon and I have a feeling convention attendees would want that to continue over more than just 3 days she’s allocated…hehe. The cunning sophistication and ballsy attitude she has embraced as Pam in “True Blood” will keep us entranced for ages.
