Ahh…..UK Ladies. We can’t get enough of them…their lovely accents, sophistication and so much more. Right now they certainly are conquering the realm of television! But who’s the fairest of them all in this Beauty Game Of Thrones?

1. EMILIA CLARKE As Daenerys Targaryen

 alt=

- She’s turning heads with her “Flying Eyebrows” fashion statement in every episode.
- Could she be playing the only other pure character as Daenerys on “Game Of Thrones” besides Sansa Stark?
- She recently went nude on stage for “Breakfast At Tiffany’s in an iconic role!

2. SOPHIE TURNER As Sansa Stark

 alt=

- At the tender age of 17, she’s already reached acclaim in only her first role…wow!
- It’s great to see so many fighting over one central female character and Sophie nails the magnetic appeal of Sansa Stark so dazzlingly.
- Her semi-posh accent is mesmeric as can be seen in the interview (above).

3. ROSE LESLIE As Ygritte

 alt=

- She puts the WILD in her wildling character, seducing Jon Stark while being stark naked!
- Her other claim to fame was from her days as the ambitious Gwen Dawson on the Brit Hit “Downton Abbey”
- A rapidly rising starlet, expect her to have a leading lady role soon or her own TV show!

British Vixen: Maude Hirst

 alt=  alt=

We adore UK actresses for their regal beauty and posh accent to the max that the debut of MAUDE HIRST on “Vikings” will be met with exciting fervor. Having amassed an unprecedented rating of 8.3 million total viewers on just its first episode, “Vikings” is one show we should be keeping tabs on. While the interest has been on intriguing aspects of the life of Nordic conquerors, the women who are in it should be lauded too for being represented as equals with emphasis on their fortitude and guile. The debut of Maude Hirst on the History Channel as Helga, an addition to the “Vikings” storyline would add more feminine dynamism to what Katheryn Winnick (as Lagertha) and Jessalyn Gilsig (as Siggy) have already exemplified. There’s limited info on how her character Helga will be introduced in the upcoming episode “Raid”so it means we’ll just have to tune in on 31st March to find out!

MAUDE’s other prominent role was as Kat Ashley in “The Tudors”, the King Henry VIII of England scripted period drama which was a big hit for Showtime. She is after all the daughter of Michael Hirst, the series creator and the doe-eyed actress also has a celeb best friend who is none other than Julianne Hough of “Rock of Ages” and “Footlose” fame. As evident from MAUDE’s Twitter, they’re pretty close pals; Julianne stating in an interview that she stays with MAUDE whenever she’s in England. Isn’t it amazing how interconnected the world is! Bonds are being form all the time between actresses and fans like me who at least have an avenue to contact the lovely ladies of the screen. What will ring true is my eyes is going to be glued when the captivating Maude makes her mark on TV.

British Vixen: Chloe Farnworth

 alt=  alt=

It’s truly one of the great pleasures in life when introducing a vivacious and foxy talent such as Chloe Farnworth who is destined for eminence. Possessing a similar sex appeal reminiscent of Jeri Ryan and Kylie Minogue, Chloe is herself a tempting hottie with ethereal fair skin. In addition to being gorgeous, the passion she has for her craft is boundless. Directors have praised her energy every time she’s on set and it’s that very exuberance that will have Chloe eagerly recognized by moviegoers. She did sizzle in the indie horror film “BackSlasher” as Aqua, one of the girls invited to model sexy sleepwear which also puts her on the crosshairs of a sadistic killer. Chloe is stunning onscreen and this blonde goddess should be considered essential viewing.

She so kindly updated me on her blossoming career with the news she’s been offered her first US movie. Playing the lead of Shannon Mathews a English nanny working for the Preston Family, it’s filming in Philadelphia later this year and here’s a link to the website http://constrictionmovie.com/ (She’s on the home page, looking a tad scary). The hits keep on coming with her wrapping up filming in the the lead role of Ange in “The Devil’s Bargain which will be released end of this year. Then “Get Lucky” comes out in Feb followed by the release of a horror comedy called “Crying Wolf “which will go to cinemas in the UK and US! Keep up with the latest updates by visiting the CHLOE FARNWORTH OFFICIAL SITE and since she’s moving over to LA in a few months time, her star is destined to shine brightly. Actresses with Chloe in their first name seems to be synonymous with success (e.g Chloe Grace Moretz and Chloe Sevigny) so look out Miss Chloe Farnworth to emulate their achievements and develop into one desired by devotees the world over.

British Vixen: Coralie Rose

 alt=  alt=

It’s an art to be both sweet and saucy, that most alluring of traits by which CORALIE ROSE can bring into play whenever she graces the screen. Paul Breuls, the producer of “The Devil’s Double” may have jumped the gun when he remarked how UK actresses are perceived as having a conservative reputation. He probably is not privy to CORALIE’s racy love scenes in “Rise Of The Footsoldier” thereby proving it’s a misnomer to suggest they aren’t as sexually adventurous as their counterparts from other countries. Pics of CORALIE in her stripper Red-Riding Hood getup wielding a shotgun from the upcoming “Strippers Vs Werewolves” should instigate excitement. As will horrormeister Robert Englund and the bevy of eye candy namely Barbara Nedeljakova, Ali Bastian, Adele Silva and a topless Gloria Savage. What mischievousness will the girls be doing I wonder but already Coralie’s character Brandi is said to be as wittily funny as she is beguiling. Known for her humor on set, she’ll perk us up any day of the week.

Following up on her vampish turn in 2010′s “Dead Cert”, she’s been stirringly wonderful in films coming out from both LA and London. Her multi-ethnic allure magnifies the sultry innocence of her looks and destined to be a crowd pleaser is CORALIE’s cosmopolitan appeal . It’s no surprise to hear she’s a beauty/features editor on the celebrated Positively Celebrity website. More than ever British Sirens are making inroads in Hollywood as entertainers from luminaries such as Emily Blunt and Rosamund Pike to emerging ones like Juno Temple. Favoring Miss CORALIE ROSE as another who’s all the rage is therefore customary.

Must Watch Hotties At The Toronto Film Fest 2011 Part 2

Simone-Élise Girard in “The Weight Of Emptiness”

 alt=  alt=

What better than to showcase the wonderful Simone-Élise Girard, star of “The Weight Of Emptiness” (Le Poids Du Vide) which is having its world premiere at TIFF 2011 on 12th September. She’s already given me a heads up on how intense the short film will be and the trailer (above) suggests an enigma well worth watching. One can tell it’s a bewildering allegory of the sometimes strained relationship between a mother and her child (Boy floats through the air while his mum struggles to keep him near). Simone herself is endowed with an endearing mystique that’s bound to add gravitas to the events that will unfold in the suspenseful tale. The amiable warmth of this French-Canadian Starlet is also another one of her many gifts which is always a crowd pleaser. Fall in love with this talent with the natural instincts to enchant.

Jessica Embro in “Good Boy”

 alt=  alt=

She’s been called one of the most authentic performers on film and as as a fan/friend of Jessica Embro, I wholeheartedly agree. The raven-haired beauty does invest emotionally in many of the characters she plays although she’s more subdued in “Good Boy”. It’s a story of a golden retriever who starts to lose the lovable attention of his owners, what with a bundle of joy in the family due to arrive and jealousy starts to rage within the dog! I’m inclined to affectionately call Jessica the Short Film Darling having garnered attention for her work on “Measuring Tape Girl” and now with “Good Boy”. She’s also set to be a scene stealer in the upcoming “14 Minutes” as a soon to be hitched American woman who meets with a Canadian stranger on a road trip and ends up questioning the very idea of marriage. Infatuated with her yet…well you must in a hurry!

Noureen DeWulf in “Breakaway”

 alt=  alt=

“Breakaway” is a Canadian film generating strong buzz with its upbeat Bollywood inspired musical set pieces, bouncy humor amidst culture clashes and blossoming romance in the confines of Hockey, Canada’s National Sport. It’s even bewitched Hollywood with Rob Lowe and Camille Belle making their presence felt alongside cameos by luminaries such as rapper Ludacris, Drake and Indian screen heartthrob Akshay Kumar. That’s all great but of course, red-blooded males can’t wait to watch the always luscious Miss Noureen DeWulf sizzle! Will the buxom actress get to shake her money maker in one of the many enjoyable dances? Having gone visceral as a burqa covered punk in “The Taqwacores”, Noureen is proving to be quite the impactful actress. Shattering the notion of being just a sexy,pretty face, she enthralls with ease.

Rebecca Hall in “The Awakening”

 alt=  alt=

While there’s still no trailer for the post-war thriller “The Awakening”, the intriguing images of Rebecca Hall looking all flustered in the role of a skeptical ghost hunter alongside co-star Dominic West would be enough to entice viewers. The busy actress is expected to dazzle TIFF 2011, promoting this haunting tale of apparitions and a woman whose a staunch unbeliever of ghost stories until an event drastically alters her perception! Lauded as a thinking man’s Sex Symbol and for portraying brainy women often with a nervous energy, one can say she has an unconventional foxiness. Comfortable as a dowdy plain Jane or a sassy Femme Fatale on screen, she does have a cultured poise that’s downright quaint and appealing. So intimately stirring in “The Town”, she did win a TV BAFTA for her shocking performance in “Red Riding”, showing us how much of a multi-faceted actress she can be.

MyAnna Buring in “Kill List”

 alt=

She was in two of my all-time favorite British films namely “The Descent” and “Doomsday”. It would have been three if the campy “Lesbian Vampire Killers” was regarded as a true horror movie…hehe. I’m refering to MyAnna Buring, the Swedish-born English Rose who is swiftly racking up them gritty roles. Her latest mystery “Kill List” however could rank as another gem as it opts for psychological terror, the kind that has people talking long after they’ve experienced the movie. Of course, rabid fans will get a helping of her as the “vegetarian” vamp Tanya of the Denali Clan, cousins of the Cullen Family in Breaking Dawn, the concluding double feature of the beloved saga that is “Twilight”. This delectable blonde with the cute dimple chin is rightly making a splash in Hollywood after memorable turns in lower-budget fare which she still continues to take on.

Sexiest Actresses At Film4 FrightFest 2011

Natalie Victoria in “Deadheads”

 alt=

As you might already now Natalie Victoria is in London for the screening for her movie “Deadheads” at this year’s Frightfest. They say love is undying and that’s how much her character Ellie means to one of the leading men (Mike played by Michael McKiddy) on this kick-ass zombie comedy…even after zombiefication, she’s still his infatuation! Oh and it’s not all puppy love as Natalie does get to rip hearts out in her second role as a vicious Zombie Bride. Get her on Season 2 of “The Walking Dead”…let’s perk up the melodrama with Miss Natalie’s winning smile as we already know she has bite…:) As sweet as nectar with a bombshell appeal, everyone should develop an addiction for Natalie in a hurry.

Shanley Caswell & Spencer Locke in “Detention”

 alt=  alt=

Why do i adore Shanley Caswell? Because she granted me an Exclusive Interview as soon as I contacted her via Facebook and her accommodating personality is to be treasured. Why do i adore Spencer Locke? Because she has an irrepressible cuteness that’s on par with Glee’s Dianna Agron. Together they may be the opposite spectra of youthful exuberance (or is it angst) yet the delectable duo shines in the slasher “Detention” that’s been called everything from visually trippy horror to a surge of teen culture and dark humor. While Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy were icons of the 80s thanks to The Breakfast Club which ranks as influential to certain scenes in “Detention”, Shanley and Spencer themselves are set to be role models for their generation.

Maya Hazen & Maria Olsen in “Vile”

 alt=  alt=

A film that’s inspired by “Hostel”…that’s the premise of “Vile”, a shocker that has a group of people taken by force and subjected to brutal experiments Nazi style! You would know that this very blog was borne out of my fascination with all things gorno and this has two ladies who have been exceptionally active on the horror scene. At the very start of the trailer (above), one of the hardest working women in horror Maria Olsen forebodes of the terror to come in a British accent no less. She’s an extraodinary character actress able to embody a diverse number of faces horror has ever seen. Maya Hazen is a Japanese American cutie with the charisma to spice up any feature most notably in the US remake of “Shutter”.

Sara Paxton in “The Innkeepers”

 alt=

Now here’s a busy actress that’s rapidly making a name for herself in the horror/thriller genre. Sara Paxton could certainly be the one to challenge Danielle Harris for the throne of prevalently dynamic Horror Princess…something we might never have expected from her seeing how she previously starred in much light-hearted fare such as a mermaid in Aquamarine. An intense turn as a rape victim in “The Last House On The Left” remake has lead to enthralling upcoming roles in “Shark Night 3D” and “The Innkeepers”. While the former sees her as the sexy bikini-clad eye candy with a tough mental exterior, the latter is all about her ability to illustrate charm under duress amidst the slow-burning eerieness crafted by the expert direction of Ti West.

Melissa George in “A Lonely Place To Die”

 alt=

Melissa George and her peers such as Anna Torv, Yvonne Strahovski, Rachael Taylor,etc. have been captivating our hearts for a number of years, showing both guile and exquisiteness we’ve come to covet. Add pioneering hotties such as Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts as well as a wave of new sweethearts such as Rachel Carpani (the lead of new show “Against The Wall”) and it’s clear the Aussie Starlet Invasion into Hollywood is at a high. Certainly Melissa George is quite the stunner and surely must have one of the most beautiful lips in the business! Her run of physically demanding roles such as the one in “A Lonely Place To Die” could have her lauded as an action star but she’s just as capable of showing an air of vulnerability in the quieter scenes.

Indie Princess: Lindsay Goranson

 alt=
 alt=  alt=

There’s a beguiling subtlety in the way LINDSAY GORANSON portrays various characters in her career yet she’s able to be considerably breathtaking each time. In the flesh of the seductress Estelle from “Sweets” which is said to be the most perverse segment from “The Theatre Bizarre”, LINDSAY is Psychedelic Horror’s leading lady enticing men into the arms of bloodthirsty cult of females. Just like Emma Roberts from “Scream 4″, don’t you love it when the females have the upper hand when it comes to wanton killing! Whether she meant to or not, seeing LINDSAY channeling the spirit of Bette Davis from the classic “Whatever Happen To Baby Jane” on the promo cover of the Montreal Mirror is both creepily impactful and jarringly bewitching. The pic of her in deranged doll make-up licking a bleeding heart (above) has disturbing brilliance written all over that will unmistakably leave horror fans eating out of her hands. Praises have come from many quarters for her instinctive onscreen talents.

The thrills keep on coming as LINDSAY is set to star in the survival horror of “The Blinds” set at a high stakes poker game as well the gripping “Caveat”. The latter, a classic battle of wits between five sisters over a family inheritance and the engrossing teaser suggests that LINDSAY could very well play the most maniacal sibling of them all. She has also kept me posted on a more revealing trailer in the works and that spookiness will be a huge part of this psychological thriller. The informative LINDSAY GORANSON OFFICIAL SITE is the best way to keep up to date on the many exciting films she’s part of. LINDSAY’s forays into features of compelling note will be watched with avid interest in 2011, what will be a busy year for this gifted actress.

Rising Starlet: Jessica Remmers

 alt=
 alt=

Projecting the sophisticated mystique made famous by French Wave goddesses such as Anouk Aimée and Anna Karina, JESSICA has those endearingly big eyes that glitters with sensuality. It’s apt that she’s cast in the horror anthology “The Theater Bizarre”, influenced by the Parisian Le Théâtre du Grand-Guignol and delivering shockingly gory imagery with the expressionist horror tones ala “The Cabinet of Dr Caligari”. JESSICA’s role as Antonia being one of a group of women belonging to a bizarre and murderous cult with a taste for flesh. While JESSICA has appeared in a series of plays, shorts and indie flicks, she’ll no doubt be a rousing factor alongside horror hotties Lindsay Goranson, Elissa Dowling, Erin Marie Hogan and Lynn Lowry who plays the evil matriach. Be sure to check our her incredibly popular Tumblr Page JESSICA REMMERS AND THE NEW WAVE where she shares her thoughts on the art-film movement. Brigitte Bardot whom I reckon is one of her idols is emblazoned on the front page, a nod to the exquisite feminine inspiration she feeds off as a performer.

In the experimental short “Savanna” (above), one can see how she belongs in features with an avant-garde quality, her refined beauty being such a joy to savor. THE VANYA SHOW is also one of her upcoming projects where JESSICA takes on her Russian alter-ego who has an intriguing allure waiting to be unveiled! So Look out for her in “The Theatre Bizarre“, one of the Main Films screening at Film4 FrightFest UK 2011 as we discover the blossoming sweetness of this inviting model/actress.
