One can never stop emphasizing the finest aspects of onscreen darlings and the perky CHANTEL FLANDERS is indeed a burgeoning talent. You may have seen her in the comedy feature “Vamp U” as Lorainne, the prissy Sorority Girl in charge who will cross path with an out-of-control vampire played by Julie Gonzalo. Julie’s character Chris is actually the creation of an impotent vampire (Yup, he can’t seem to bare his fangs) who unwittingly creates a bloodsucker who unleahses hell on campus. Check out CHANTEL’s reel (above) and watch Julie give her a bite in rather brutal fashion!. Wow! That must have been so fun to film being so neck-to-neck close with Julie. As we know Julie is a mega-star thanks to her being a leading lady on Dallas and the exposure CHANTEL is getting from the release of “Vamp U” may just gain buzz for the lovely blonde. CHANTEL deserves a spot in the limelight and her pleasant nature will go a long way in getting her treasured by viewers.
When I first told her of my intention to have her as a dazzler on this blog, she was genuinely magnanimous. So often we don’t see this endearing side of actresses and being gracious is something I envision CHANTEL having for a long time. She’s also an adroit comedienne and stars in the 11-episode web series “Crash Pad” where the humorous set pieces are entirely up to the improv skills of the actors. If digital is the current wave in comedy then having CHANTEL engage us with her sprightly presence while dispensing the laughs is a joy! It’s so cool to be funny and CHANTEL does have the sparkle to make her the jewel in our eyes.

In her new show “The Mindy Project”, Dana Delorenzo plays a self-assured Jersey Girl who is indifferent to Mindy, always knows where the cool parties and carries a torch for one of the leading man. It’s going to be mighty interesting to see how the relationship between these two gals evolve. Dana of course is well known as an Amy Winehouse impersonator with her tribute band House Of Wineshouse. Now she steps into the spotlight with a role that could turn her into one an emerging starlet everyone should starting talking about.

Her sensational entrance into the world of “True Blood” as Lilith is as breathtaking as it is bloody. Kudos to British actress Jessica Clark for going all the way and full frontal in portraying a majestic force of the Vampire Goddess. As she has shown previously on the TV drama “Chemistry”, she has the confidence to carry a scene that requires nudity and Jessica does indeed have a lithe, alluring figure to enchant a generation of viewers. Just like how she hypnotized the legion of vamps including Bill Compton and Eric Northman, so will this exotic temptress sizzle in the coming months.

She’s already been irresistible once before in the horror flick “My Bloody Valentine” and now Betsy Rue turns everyone on yet again as the costumed vigilante Libra on “Femme Fatales”. This Blonde Bombshell does look super hot in the body-hugging super heroine outfit and Besty can certainly deliver all the right moves. If they are working on choosing the sexiest women list for 2012, Miss Betsy is deserving of a spot on it. Not only is she overwhelmingly saucy, she’s also known as one of the nicest actresses to talk with, proving her desirability on all fronts. As I scanned her IMDB Page, it struck me that KRISTIN SUTTON has a starring role opposite one time Sexiest Woman Alive Minka Kelly. Now Minka has always been a favorite of mine since her “Friday Night Lights” days and having two hotties together is most gratifying. I’m talking about the upcoming comedy “Searching For Sonny”, Sonny being “Heroes” Masi Oka who goes missing in this mind-boggling mystery set at a high school reunion. This just in from Miss KRISTIN SUTTON herself; the character Cynthia Schubert whom she essays in “Searching For Sonny” is going to be a bitchy, snobby type…bring on the nastiness, GIRL! She has taken on the prissy persona before in the amusing “Wonderville” Pilot, a sarcasm-filled look into the crazy lives and sometimes disgusting habits of a motley group of theme restaurant employees. If you’re a fan of shows such as “The Office” or “Parks and Recreation”, you’ll appreciate it’s mockumentary humor. Some may also recognize her distinctively high-pitched voice as KRISTIN has done Voice Over work for Cartoon Network’s Power Puff girls, several English-dubbed animes as well Barney and Friends. Kudos to horror maestro John Carpenter for showcasing the hottest young ladies of the modern era in “The Ward”. Sure it has two of the sauciest sirens in Amber Heard and Lyndsey Fonseca but we should remember the foursome featured here that are just as delectable. First off is blonde cutie Sali Sayler who appears at the very start as Tammy and could just be the cause of the ghostly happenings plaguing Kristen (Amber Heard). Danielle Panabaker and Laura-Leigh are two mental patients, Danielle being the attention-seeking prima donna Sarah while Laura as Zoey is the nervous wreck in schoolgirl outfits. As Alice, Mika Boorem provides the twist of the story. The attractively nubile emsemble of “The Ward” is to be applauded for being so convincingly rousing in the roles they’ve been entrusted.

Having lived in Australia for 3 years, I’m thrilled to include a gorgeous Australian actress on any and every Hot List I’ve concocted. And since I’ve already seen the sights of Melbourne, it’s fantastic to feature “Summer Coda” which is set in Murray River, one of Melbourne’s pristine locale. The film’s leading lady is none other than the stunning Rachael Taylor whose understated sexiness permeates the Aussie Romance; she has a nude scene in the bathtub after all. A remarkable breath of sunshine in her role as Heidi, the Aussie gal returning to her homeland from the US to re-connect with her estranged family but ends up finding love in the unlikeliest of places. Refreshing takes on romanctic flicks are much welcomed and Rachael is a must-see in this one.

Don’t you miss Kristen Kreuk when there was a huge gaping void following her departure of Smallville. Sorry Teri Hatcher but Kristen trumps you in the Lana Lang stakes; don’t you miss the will they won’t they hook-up storylines with her and Tom Welling’s Clark Kent. While we got to satiate our Kristen Kreuk fix by shamelessly supporting her Chun Li phase in Streetfighter (where were the buns and sexy outfits??), one has to admit her best work has been on TV. At this year’s SIFF Film Fest, she delves into indie territory as a suicidal women falling prey to a teacher with a thirst for blood. Somehow he finds a way to fall in love with his victims before killing them. A premise with shock value and rumored scenes of ingenious drawing of blood should have us returning to our obsession for the lovely Miss Kristen Kreuk.

It’s almost like looking in a mirror when talking about Jennifer Connelly and Isabelle Fuhrman from the star-studded dramedy “Sunset Boulevard. From the off, it is their similar bushy eyebrows and alluring chiseled features that would hypnotize viewers into submission. Jennifer Connelly is an Academy Award winning actress who’s risen above her sexpot image to become a celebrated dramatic actress. Isabelle Fuhrman is a teen sensation who’s about to top everything she’s done having scored the pivotal role of Clove in the much-discussed upcoming flick “The Hunger Games” with Jennifer Lawrence. It doesn’t matter if critics dismissed “Sunset Boulevard” as unfunny or disparaging Pierce Brosnan’s insane preacher as over the top; Give me a taste of Jennifer and Isabelle any day of the week!
