It’s awesome to highlight actresses doing the film festival rounds and the charismatic BUFFY CHARLET is in line for recognition from fans. Due to the fast-paced fluidity of SXSW 2013, I couldn’t get insider news from BUFFY in time for this article but having connected with her is already amazing in itself. After all, she’s appearing in the riveting thriller “Holy Ghost People” as Liz, the woman who becomes the enigma of the story as the world of Snake-Handlers of Southern Appalachia and those from the outside converge. Having vanished mysteriously, her sister Charlotte decides to infiltrate the religious commune only to discover a darkness she would never see coming. BUFFY re-unites once more with Joe Egender, her co-star from indie comedy “Lurking in Suburbia” and moves into a different territory as opposed to her comedic parts in the past. At this year’s SXSW, we’ve seen Jane Levy of “Suburgatory” fame who moved effortlessly into horror with the R-rated “Evil Dead” and the genre bending continues with the talented BUFFY.
“The Buffies” is her successful web series with fellow actress Caroline “Buffy” Rich who has sizzled up this blog before. Their “Cum-N-Go” skit on the wonders of having sperm readily available without the need for men is hilarious so check the video out (above). BUFFY is endearingly good when it comes to the funnier side of life and with her venturing into contrasting roles, this could be the time for her big break.
If it’s her alluring green eyes that have got you hooked then KATY FOLEY can certainly do so for hours on end. Have you seen her in the music video “My Apology” (above) by Aussie Singer/Songwriter Penny Hewson? Her appearance is one of haunting captivation befitting the ethereal texture of the melody and I have to say the vid is a new addiction for me (brings back memories of my fascination with Cocteau Twins). KATY is in her element as the song reaches its climax, her pained expression towards the end is so beguiling. In addition, she’s heating up the red carpet at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival with the premiere of her comedy short “Hairball”. She plays Clarissa who is seemingly the perfect blind date until the man who a thing for her discovers some unusual flaws of the physical kind. Let’s just say it’s sort of a hairy situation between the two lovebirds! The quirky performance by KATY should warrant a wave of adoration from indie fans.
That warrants a visit to the KATY FOLEY OFFICIAL SITE where you can view more of her videos. KATY can be sexy, funny and also display varied nuances in her performances with the impact being a sustained interest. Enthralling her way into our hearts is on the cards and we can’t wait for more. I’m due an interview with this up and comer of the film industry, so watch this space for more on the very lovely Miss Katy Foley…:)
With the advent of the Twin Cities Film Festival comes a bevy of stunning faces and the temptingly captivating REBEKAH GRAF is bound to have admirers in tow. She’s been described as an exceedingly hot female lead in the motorcross drama “Bro’“, a take on the sinful pleasures one experiences after being introduced to the world of women, drugs, and motorcycles. As the ravishing Stephanie, she does lead the film’s protagonist Johnny somewhat astray by introducing him to the immoral side of moto-x riding. Already an actress recently remarked how I have the know how to make a girl feel good which is a huge compliment and I’m definitely going the distance in doing so. With REBEKAH having found my blog, pointing out how completely adorable it is and that she would love to be featured, there’s enough reason to shine the spotlight on her via this feature.
REBEKAH did appear in the music video “Almost” by pop punk band Mest and her other role of note was as a High School hottie in the slasher “Savage County”. Lavishing praise on her comes easily when one notices just how attractive she can be. She may be at a relatively early stage in her career yet you can feel she can grow into a popular actress in time. “Bro’” screens this Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 9:30pm so remember to watch her impress audiences.
Funny and quirky has always been a charming combo, traits with which ZOE FARMINGDALE has successfully entertained in an array of mediums. Notably will be her appearance at the LA Shorts Fest 2012 in “This is Caroline“, a story of how a bizarrely risible incident can force in this case, the lead Caroline to acknowledge real feelings of loneliness. ZOE takes on the role of 16-year-old Gabby, who can relate to Caroline on a number of levels. According to her, it was a wonderful experience taking part in the film as she got to perform lots of comedy. and it came from a different but very real part inside her to be able to play an intelligent young person tackling her own struggles. Add her exposure on a myriad of music videos, recently shooting for new artist Arcane Converter which will be the 4th she’s done in the past year and you have a compelling talent who will receive ardency from everyone.
So without further ado, I’ll let ZOE unveil more about her imminent projects.
In her words:
1. I have been doing a lot of shooting this summer for programing that will be coming to you on your XBox. I’ll be playing parodies of some of your favorite pop culture figures alongside comedian J.B. Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm).
2. I have worked for The Onion a couple of times, including in “Nation’s Girlfriends Reveal Economic Plan”, which was featured on The View.
3. I have a lot of live performance, especially comedy! I perform twice every week at the PIT, one of the premiere improv theatres in NYC– Wednesdays with my improv team Family Haircut, Thursdays with my musical improv team THEM. I also write and play music in my own comedy variety show, The Zoeshow, which is growing in popularity! (you can find some clips online if you google The Zoeshow Zoe Farmingdale)
4. I am co-writing a musical called “Preschool!”. We performed the 15-minute version this summer at the West Village Musical Theatre Festival and swept the awards in our category, winning Best Score, Best Lyrics, Best Book, Best Song (The Peanut Butter Song– which my character sang!), and Best Show. In addition, I won BEST ACTRESS of the entire festival for playing 4 year-old peanut butter-obsessed Marty based on audience and industry votes! We can’t wait to develop the show more and hope to produce it in 2013! I also performed in a production of Legally Blonde last month with Harrison Summer Theatre/ The White Plains Performing Arts Center.
5. I will also be performing in an upcoming modern dance piece with choreographer Kimberly Gair. I have also performed across the country with keila cordova dances.
If any or all of the above arouses interest, make sure to drop by the ZOE FARMINGDALE OFFICIAL SITE as well as the ZOE FARMINGDALE OFFICIAL BLOG. ZOE is all about dreaming up lively characters, even fusing a succession of dance styles into her brand of comedy. She could just be the newest sweetheart in what could be a prosperous year ahead.
MINDY ROBINSON undeniably represents the essence of hotness and her curves are an integral part of her immensely enticing personality. If you remembered Ali Larter announcing herself to the world with her whipped-cream covered body, then MINDY with cupcake cream over her bare essentials (see sizzling pic above) would be just as breathtaking. Now wouldn’t she be a dream date and that’s just what this single girl is espousing on George Lopez’s dating show ‘Take Me Out’. What we should know it’s she’s quite the intelligent hottie who gravitates towards brainy guys thus shattering any stereotypes we might have…:) Plus, MINDY is well-versed in the horror genre, recently appearing in the scarefest “The Haunting Of Whaley House” as well as filming the upcoming TV pilot series ‘Hell Hunters’.
With such an adorable face, MINDY was always tailor-made to be a comedienne and she’s going the funny route in “American Lie” as an aspiring Scream Queen. Add her numerous exposure in music videos such as on LMFAO’s ‘I’m Sexy and I Know It’ and she’s been a dazzler on almost every media platform. Seeing how she’s granted me an online interview, I might just take up her offer soon! Just like me, many more are expected to be mesmerized by this Sex Bomb.
What better than to kickstart the Comic Con 2012 Actress Features with JENA SIMS who commands both admiration and ardor. Headlining “Attack of the 50ft Cheerleader”, her popularity will flourish mirroring the role she has as college cheerleader, Cassie Stratford. In character as CASSIE who aspires to make the cheer squad, she grows uncontrollably after taking an experimental drug. That’s the ever increasing effect JENA is set to cultivate when she graces the jumbo screens as the gigantic temptress at San Diego. I am contemplating starting another blog focusing on 2 or 3 hot women I’ve met or seen in a day and seeing JENA in such a saucy light has certainly sealed the deal. Her luscious legs are desirable in their perfection ensuring plaudits from writers and viewers the world over.
JENA’s seductive figure is yet one more facet we’ll be raving about and the music video “Crazy As I May” (above) sees her teasing us with a sensual dance routine in tiny blue bikini bottoms. Doesn’t she intrigue us to visit the JENA SIMS OFFICIAL SITE where we’ll discover she’s prominent as an actress/model/beauty queen and most significantly as a philanthropist. On top of moviegoers, the impact she’s making is being felt by recipients of the charity work she’s undertaking. A true beauty in every sense of the word and with her compelling personality, JENA is keeping us enthused for years to come.
Lindsey Haun in “True Blood”
Her highly anticipated return on Season 5 of “True Blood” is bound to set off another round of adoration. As Hadley Hale, Lindsey embodies the country jailbait persona with verve and thus we are more than willing to plant love bites on her…;) With the release of her debut music video ADDICTED and its riveting imagery, the ravishing blonde is showing yet another dimension to her work as an entertainer.
Stacey Oristano in “Bunheads”
It’s highly likely her scene-stealing moments on the new series “Bunheads” is going to get everyone talking. Playing Truly Stone who is a whiz when it comes to clothes, hers is a role richly peppered with complicated feelings stemming from being resentful of leading lady Michelle (Sutton Foster) and having to bite the bullet by being her friend. One way or another, Stacey is keeping us engrossed as she has so often done…:)
Grace Bannon & Natalie Lander in “The Middle”
Time to hand out awards to these 2 cuties who have dazzled on sitcom “The Middle” this past few months. Grace appears as the extremely religious Ruth who happens to be in the wrestlerette team while Natalie guest-starred as the abrasive cheerleader Debbie. Not only does the two of them have a knack for comedy, both have an everlasting lusciousness we can’t stop raving about.
A lady who truly beliefs in her craft, JUDY CERDA is living proof that independent actresses rock! She can be seen in some very cool stuff for instance the nostalgic music video “The Summer Place” from famed group, Fountains of Wayne, playing a 1970′s housewife. You already know I adore blondes and with retro swinging back into our modern era with such aplomb, JUDY is doubly fabulous. It’s such a joy to be in contact with her after learning she’s in “Boxed Up” which recently premiered at Dances With Films 2012. She’s in the role of Pauline, a new neighbor who is wary of a killer prowling her neighborhood. While the version that screened at the fest was a trimmed down one, she’s in the full version which has done well at theatres.
One of the nicest actresses on the planet, she so kindly send me useful insider news for me to champion her work. Check out the JUDY CERDA OFFICIAL SITE and you might start tagging her as the Empress of short films due to her impressive catalog. This sparkling hazel-eyed blond is also considered a “Scream Queen”, attaining the label after a series of features involving scenes where she’s being terrorized. She even played a victim being chased by zombies in a Doritos commercial! Soon, many will start noticing just how passionate an actress JUDY is and that warrants a measure of recognition.
