1.Kim Poirier

 alt=  alt=

- Becoming sought after in the horror genre even though Kim is famed for her work on both television and film.
- Our soft spot for Canadian actresses has a lot to do with Kim Poirier because she exudes so much sex appeal!
- Memorably saucy in “Decoys” as well as in the Zombie re-imagining of the classic “Dawn Of The Dead” (her titillating sex scene of course)
- Set to kick Zombie ass in “100 Days of Death” adapted from the fascinating Graphic Novel of the same name.

2. Jessica Cameron

 alt=

- Jessica is a rapidly blossoming Canadian Terror Hotties with several projects lined up in 2013!
- She was one of the first actresses that captivated me thanks to her being such a blonde bombshell and being ever so approachable.
- Recently appeared with Malcolm McDowell in the gorefest that is “Silent Night”
- Horror may be her forte yet Jessica is comfortable in dramatic and comedic features.

3. Felissa Rose

 alt=

- Felissa Rose is considered as a legend of horror and a cult figure.
- “Caesar and Otto’s Deadly Christmas” and “Dead.tv” are features that will return her to the pinnacle of adoration by horror fans worldwide.
- She loves to explore the different psyches of a person which has kept her in good stead when she delves into those dysfunctional characters.
- Forever iconic as Angela in “Sleepaway Camp”, she’s a firm favorite at every horror convention.

4. Ashlynn Yennie

 alt=

- “The Human Centipede” was her claim to fame and her brilliance in such a controversial role was key in getting her lauded.
- Expect Ashlynn to entice opposite Elish Duhsku and Katie Cassidy in “The Scribbler” as a woman with the inclination to run around naked, a result of her mental illness.
- Has handled a variety of intense characters and does it with compelling ease.
- Billed as the One To Watch this year, she also has the naturally sexy personality to win viewers over.

5. Lisa Wilcox

 alt=

- Lisa Wilcox together with Heather Langenkamp are two of the most revered leading ladies of “A Nightmare On Elm Street” franchise!
- Her appeal lies in her ability to be vulnerable yet deliver a tough veneer onscreen.
- Till Today, Lisa is one of the most ravishing women ever to grace the film world and her everlasting sweetness is to be admired.
- Watch out for Lisa in the upcoming supernatural thriller “The Church”.

Asian Vixen: Aoni Ma

 alt=  alt=

Actress and Martial Artiste AONI MA is an all-round captivator, potently beguiling and equipped with the pugilistic skills to rouse your senses. If you’ve seen the myriad of photos floating around the web, AONI has the perfectly svelte body and killer looks (as cliché as that may sound). It’s appropriate to showcase the sexy AONI since we are after all in the throes of Chinese New Year 2013 and in the celebratory mood for admiring Asian hotties. After watching her in the intense Spike Tv Scream Awards Promo 2009 which she headlined with Caity Lotz (who is a fav of mine), I’m instantly drawn to AONI’s prowess on camera. Having gone on a FitBox cum martial arts training at Zen Martial Arts recently, stunt women such as AONI really make it look so easy when in fact it’s really punishing for you. The best part of it all is they are so beautiful and elegant when executing those dynamite moves. Check out this site : http://www.alivenotdead.com/Aonima to see her wielding a long blade and exuding sensuality from every pore.

In an interview, she talks about telling stories though body movements be it if is in a photo, feature film or even dancing in a music video. Soon you’ll be able to catch her in “Project Purgatory Beijing”, a Zombie Apocalypse horror tale with elements of gaming thrown into the kick-ass mix. AONI is a natural for the high-energy themes and ideal playing Grave, the cold, bitchy assassin. This is one Action Diva we could get attached to for quite some time. Thanks to AONI, don’t forget to visit http://www.zombiekillersmovie.com another amazing actioner full of girls killing zombies and endless fun for fans of the Walking Dead!

Rising Starlet: Kyra Zagorsky

 alt=  alt=

KYRA ZAGORSKY has an incredible glow of sexiness that’s both delectable and yet intrigue us to build an affinity for her. Her roles certainly been some of the more interesting ones, fulfilling audiences and me alike. Anthology films are a firm favorite of mine and KYRA so happens to star in “The ABCS of Death”, a thrill ride of 26 tales of gory fun which also includes some grisly claymation. She is the leading lady of the the segment directed by Kaare Andrews (Altitude) which is set in the future, combining elements of sci-fi and horror. Playing Lainey, an accomplished officer of the law whose dedication in life and career is leading to the day she creates a family of her own. That’s until she gets a surprise she never saw coming! She is the consummate action starlet in “The ABCS of Death” where the fast-paced scenes are a passion she always looks forward to. She is continuing her dexterous ways only this time facing zombies in the soon to be released flick “Toxin”. KYRA’s athleticism and toned figure does advocate her desirability as well as being so commendable onscreen.

In 2012, she sizzled up the small screen in the hit show “Supernatural” as Randa Moreno, a Mayan Goddess with the ability to rip out hearts. KYRA was super foxy throughout the episode and no wonder she’s described as a heart-breaker, alluding to the immense charismatic allure she has…:) Yet again, I’m blessed to be connecting with KYRA as she’s been in so many hit TV shows such as “Fringe”, “Stargate” and “Smallville”. Her diverse body of work is one to savor with “Twist Of Faith” being another feature she’s part of, premiering during Black History Month! on Lifetime this Saturday. A multiple-genre actress, the ravishing KYRA ZAGORSKY is set to be a temptation for all seasons…:)

Sizzling Cutie: Bridget Devlin Burke

 alt=  alt=

Popular Webzine Rogue Cinema rated “Cannibal Cheerleader Camp” as an indie film with probably the most beautiful women and that compliment holds true when referring to the slasher’s leading lady BRIDGET DEVLIN BURKE. It’s prevalent to equate cuteness with being sexy and BRIDGET is a dollface due for affection from all comers. Even as Cindy, Final Girl of “Cannibal Cheerleader Camp”, her likability never wavers and for a thriller lasting 18 minutes, the twist (there’s a Zombie!) is as riveting as her portrayal. Another term of endearment I can attach to BRIDGET is her congeniality as this week, she joined a group of actresses in giving kudos to me with the ultimate praise of ‘You’re The Best!’. It has always been a blessing to be in touch with such kind ladies and another piece of good fortune, they usually have juicy updates to unveil.

She’s kindly given me the heads up on her upcoming project “5678” which is on the fund raising trail via IndieGoGo. A mix of war themes, one not so blissful homecoming and in BRIDGET’s words, some kick-ass dancing paves the way for what would be an interesting watch indeed. She’s also shooting a short film coming up called “Empty or Missing” written and directed by Ian Albetski. Furthermore, BRIDGET is slated to join the cast of Cabaret for Port Tobacco Players’ upcoming production. Notice that she’s acted alongside fellow hottie Jenna St. John in several features, the aforementioned “Cannibal Cheerleader Camp”, “6 nonsmokers” and the fascinating “Virgin 2.0″ where they both played women who lost their virginity to a smooth talker. Joining forces, they put a stop to the lecherous lothario…painfully that is! Check BRIDGET out at her most adorable in the video (above) and she even shone in her other part as the cranky yet wise mother figure. A born performer spanning across many genres (her mother was an actress too!), BRIDGET is gaining a foothold in the industry and heading for a breakthrough role.

7 Hot Actresses At Shriekfest 2011

Audrey Walker in “Rage”

 alt=

http://vimeo.com/14394554

She’s in one of the most brutal home invasion movies ever seen and Audrey Walker delivers a roller-coaster of emotions as Crystal, the wife of a man targeted by a dude called ‘The Biker’. The physical and mental torture dished out by the nasty invader on her will be one of the most talked about scenes and in my opinion the most intense she’s ever done. This could indeed be the role that puts her on the map thanks to its unsettling tone. Be it the darker subject matter or otherwise, she’s glowingly relatable on every level and one will find that she’s just as wonderful doing comedies. She once said she never feels more at home than she does on set and that’s precisely why she has the ability to connect with viewers. I feel blessed that she sent me her autograph as Audrey could very well be a gem of an actress in our midst.

Barbara Nedeljakova in “Isle Of Dogs” & “The Hike

 alt=

Euro Vixen Barbara Nedeljakova has seen her star on a meteoric rise ever since she burst onto the horror scene back in 2005. This year alone, we have seen the Slovak cutie in “Children Of The Corn:Genesis” and is primed to thrill audiences in two features screening at Shriekfest. Well we may always remember her as duplicitous temptress from Hostel, her turns in “Isle Of Dogs” and “The Hike” will see her as a victim of circumstance. Whether she’s a trophy wife of a cuckolded husband or a hiker whose vacation in the woods turn deadly, she’ll be enticing every step of the way! I believe her husky voice may have something to do with her sensuality and with her appearing alongside Robert Englund in “Strippers vs Werewolves”, there’s talk that she’s garnered a cult following.

Sarah Lassez in “The Dead Inside”

 alt=  alt=

We crave our quirky yet saucy characters in the independent scene and Canadian cutie Sarah Lassez certainly thrives in the horror-musical of “The Dead Inside”. She’s actually an author in real life having penned the acclaimed memoir, ‘Psychic Junkie’ and Sarah does indeed play one, a writer of a series of zombie novellas called, The Dead Survive, who slowly descends into a state of mental illness. Eating her from the inside, possession never look this eccentric until now! Known for being an excellent multi-dimensional actress, Sarah was once said to resemble a better-looking version of Julia Roberts. Anchoring some of the more thought-provoking roles, an enigmatic performer would be my choice of praise to describe her onscreen work. Her dedication to making everything she does authentic while in character is also praiseworthy.

Lynn Lowry in “Divination”

 alt=

One of the sexiest legends to ever grace horror, Lynn Lowry continues to be a dazzler of the big screen, seeing how she’s widely revered as a cult star. Pivotal in exploitation classics such as “I Drink Your Blood”, “The Crazies and “Score”, her nubile innocence yet uninhibited eroticism was perfect for some of the more steamy moments and she has always maintained her comfort with nudity. She’s someone who owns her role, treating it like an art form, hence her many polished performances over the years. In the creepy short film “Divination”, Lynn is a bogus psychic running fraudulent seances until a young woman becomes her latest client and threatens to expose her in deathly fashion. A scene stealer of her generation and many more after, now is the time to hold in high regard the exceptional Lynn Lowry.

Michelle Tomlinson in “My Undeadly”

 alt=  alt=

Michelle Tomlinson has a special place in our hearts and it seems that watching her in Zombie movies is equally intoxicating. All three flesh-eating dead features she’s been in couldn’t be more thrilling for the very reason that we get to enjoy Michelle’s hypnotizing presence. She was all sassy as the touch chick in the award-winning gorefest “Brain Dead” and was a standout in “George’s Intervention”, delving into comedic territory as part of a Zombie Help Group. In her latest tale “My Undeadly”, Michelle is a woman who unfortunately becomes the food of choice for a hungry, brain snacking reanimated corpse. She projects a real fear as the victim or is she one at all! There lies one of her many charms; threading between vulnerability and strength in many of her roles. She’s also a most genial Scream Queen, well-loved by both fans and peers alike.

Ginger Pullman in “The Millenium Bug”

 alt=

Watching those behind-the-scenes clips of Ginger Pullman discussing prosthetic vaginas and third nipples from her movie “The Millenium Bug” should be of intrigue to any horror fan. I was instantly hooked on how funny she can be. It really didn’t matter that those boobs on display were of a body double as she’s a bombshell nonetheless, although in this film, she’s rather creepy! As hillbilly clan member, Pearlene Crawford, she shows her villainous side under some macabre makeup and all this right before a humongous, bad-ass freak of nature starts chowing down on the unfortunate in this maniacal creature feature. For all the effects and gore, a monster movie does indeed depend on a talented cast and we get a taste of Ginger ably handling a stirring character. Aside from acting, we should also note that Ginger’s a mesmerizing fashion model.

Keiko Agena in “Road Rage”

 alt=  alt=

Keiko Agena may not be your traditional horror starlet having captured the hearts of so many as Lane Kim from “Gilmore Girls” but we’re still passionate for her no matter the genre. She stars in the short film “Road Rage” as a female driver with temperamental issues who gets more than she bargained for after crossing paths with a stranger. Seeing her bruise-covered face in an on-set photo, expect her to fans the flames of trouble and promptly dismiss the belief that Asians are a patient, sentient lot. All i can say, Keiko is an ageless beauty who has thus far shone in everything she’s done. In fact, I was disappointed that her stint on “House M.D.” was a guest starrer; Imagine the witty banter that could have gone on between her Dr Cheng and Dr House. Never one to be pigeon-holed, she’s proving to be wildly popular on her own terms.

Rising Starlet: Debra Harrison-Lowe

 alt=  alt=

It’s a brand new week and what better than to exhilarate its start with Sporty, Fresh-Face DEBRA HARRISON-LOWE. The actioner “House Of The Rising Sun” may be a vehicle for WWE Superstar Dave Batista yet you know you’re going to be hooked on the immensely foxy DEBRA. That’s because she has a rather steamy scene in bed with Danny Trejo…is he a lucky guy or what always getting himself into situations to cavort with sexy actresses now and again. First it was a romp with Latina Sex Bomb Mayra Leal in “Machete” and now he’s in the throes of passion with DEBRA who plays the devious Priscilla Zello. Attraction comes in many forms and while DEBRA is emphatically sultry, she has sweet features that elevate her sensuality even more. Many a man must be wishing he was in the shoes of screen lothario Danny Trejo right about now…hehe. Oh and I believe DEBRA is a British Vixen and she’s managed to do the American accent so eloquently. Next up is a flick called “Final Girl”, I presume a nod to the last woman alive to confront the killer in slashers that could see DEBRA (the leading lady) join the ranks of much beloved horror heroines…unless of course there’s a plot twist somewhere! Have a glimpse of DEBRA HARRISON-LOWE ON MODEL MAYHEM and you’ll be smitten!

As you can see from her diverse beauty as a model in the photos she’s taken, it’s yet another asset of hers that will augment those that she already has as a performer. She’s been in “Face-Off”, the TV reality series on the world of special effects where she was covered in terrifying zombie make-up (check them pics out at her FACEBOOK Fan Page). DEBRA also has as a supporting role in “Transmorphers: Fall of Man”, the indie sci-fi which clearly has Michael Bay’s “Transformers” and “Terminator” as it’s source of inspiration. Spot her in the amusing bloopers clip (above) giving the middle finger! She’s been described as humorous and full of friendly warmth so why don’t we return the fondness by showering her with our love.

Watch These Sultry Scream Queens At Days Of The Dead 2011

HEATHER LAGENKAMP & AMANDA WYSS

 alt=  alt=

As an impressionable young boy watching “A Nightmare On Elm Street” for the first time, you latch on to the first images that came your way. They were of blonde teen Amanda Wyss as Tina Gray in her nightdress being stalked by the razor-fingers dream master Freddy Krueger. That ignited my fascination with blondes ever since! Then the focus shifts to cutie Heather Lagenkamp as Nancy Thompson and the memorable bath tub scene that sees Freddy’s sharpened gloves ominously head towards her. That’s when the desire in me to save adorable girls started…hehe. So it’s sensational to see a reunion of this inspirational duo at Days Of The Dead 2011. I won’t be the first nor the last in exalting the influence Heather and Amanda has given the horror world and they remain such endearingly awe-inspiring figures.

ASHLEY C. WILLIAMS

 alt=

Since bursting onto the scene as one-third of “The Human Centipede”, Ashley C. Williams has enjoyed a meteoric rise that’s seen her attain cult-like devotion. She may have been the middle part of that monstrosity but her cringe-worthy performance caught the attention of a worldwide audience and launched her to epic heights. Now headlining the survival horror feature “Empty”, Ashley gets into the skin of another disturbing role set during a gas crisis. Ashley stars as Piper who faces the moment of truth in a dire situation; Will she survive in an unknown landscape under severe duress? Raved for her singing in Spellbound- A Musical Adventure, her dynamism extends beyond the screen. It’s no wonder we are hypnotized by Ashley’s intense beauty, rousing aura and down-to-earth nature.

With the leading lady role of Elizabeth in “Frankenstein: Day Of The Beast”, the re-imagining of the beloved monster classic, fast rising indie horror starlet Michelle Shields is set to be the intriguing girl to watch. Gone are the days of damsels in distress, as more and more we see stronger interpretations onscreen highlighting the emergence of a meatier, more dramatic female presence in horror. Michelle is easily one of the sexiest emerging talents in the genre and she’s not just dazzling the independent scene, having been a core member of Comic Book Divas as a series of colorful characters. Here’s a versatile actress who is not restricting herself, dabbling in sci-fi as well as comedy in her upcoming features. Fans can look forward to more delightful surprises from this busty brunette.

GINGER LYNN ALLEN

 alt=  alt=

Yup she’s a pornstar who took a hiatus but returned to reinvent herself as a B-movie actress as well as sizzling the MILF genre which has taken the adult industry by storm. Best remembered in the dream sequence for vigorously humping Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) in violent serial killer thriller “The Devils Rejects”, Ginger Lynn Allen is the epitome of cougar-liciousness. Metallica even featured her in their video “Turn the Page” where she portrayed an aging stripper struggling to raise her child. The invasion of adult film stars into the mainstream is now commonplace with degrees of success. She was notoriously known as the one-time paramour of ‘Mr Tiger Blood’ Charlie Sheen but as you can see, Ginger is still doing her saucy thing.

Sexiest Scream Queens At The Full Moon & Tattoo Film Fest

Kitsie Duncan in “Lethal Obsession”

 alt=  alt=

Here’s a lady who has a sumptuous sophistication as red-hot as the gorgeous locks on her. Kitsie Duncan stars in “Lethal Obsession”as the owner of a popular web-cam site glamorizing scantily-clad girls via live streaming. It all goes south when they are killed while performing their sensual acts and she’s suspected of being the murderer. This movie is a wet dream for anyone who has a voyeurism fetish, especially when it’s the sexy performance of Kitsie Duncan fueling those fantasies.

Nikki Estridge in “Cyclone”

 alt=  alt=

Nikki Estridge provides two of the most memorable moments in the indie film “Cyclone” in which she plays a woman seeking revenge for wrongful imprisonment. Firstly, she displays remarkable athleticism as she faces off with a huge dude in a lengthy and brutal fist fight. Secondly, we see her cleaning her blood stains in the most steamy of ways highlighting the enticingly toned, olive-skinned body we know she has. She’s one sexy gal with the flair to stir your senses.

Kristina Klebe in “Zone Of The Dead”

 alt=

When I first saw her in “Halloween” being downright flirty and dirty, I knew I would be forever hooked on the immensely luscious Kristina Klebe. Even though her calling has been horror, she keeps things interesting by essaying TV Roles as well as dabbling in comedies and romantic dramas. If you want a kicks ass zombie killing action heroine, Kristina pulls out all the stops in “Zone Of The Dead” which is screening on May 14th. Call her the excellence of elegance..:)

Katie Bearden in “Monomaniacal”

 alt=

http://vimeo.com/23352259

Festivals and conventions are regularly an awesome experience as we get a chance to watch some of the best emerging actresses on show. Katie Bearden may be a newcomer but she already fulfills the exciting promise of a blossoming indie horror talent. Check out the twisted short film “Monomanical” for her strenuously intense portrayal of a woman fleeing for her life from a killer. Katie was so wonderfully convincing, she left me on the edge of my seat as the eponymous Final Girl.
