Scream Queen: Carmela Hayslett

It is start of the month when Halloween reigns so the spotlight falls on CARMELA HAYSLETT who is quickly whipping up avid interest in the Horror World. Possessing the compelling elfin-like appeal, she stars in the backwoods torture flick “Deer Crossing” as Olivia Brice, a specialist dealing with kids who have suffered through trauma. From what I’ve read, “Deer Crossing” has gain loads of positive feedback and could very well head into cult-film territory. The grittiness and violence is intense ensuring fans get a taste of genuine terror. The Cenobite Hellraiser King himself Doug Bradley leaving his mark in the thriller is indeed a great coup! CARMELA is slated to reprise her role in the second installment “The Legend of Carvin County” which will throw up interesting questions on how her character will evolve. She has also just finished a small part in a World War 2 film, a closely guarded secret for now and soon embodies a serial killing lesbian in “Apocalypse Kiss” that starts filming this winter also done by the same company that did “Deer Crossing” (Potent Media).

Reminiscent of the natural penetrating allure ala Misty Mundae, she’ll subtly but surely captivate you at first glance. Acclaimed as famed horror hostess Roxsy Tyler, she delivers her version of funky frightening fun on the show “Carnival Of Horrors“. Her Steven Tyler/Mad Hatter disposition is all eclectic individuality and having proven her worth in just a handful of features, CARMELA is bound to get her share of admirers.
