LA Shorts Fest 2013 Spotlight: Euro Vixen Elena Talan

The spotlight certainly falls on Russian temptress ELENA TALAN who is on course to make quite the impression in LA. She is the writer, producer and actress of “Paper”, the short film of a Russian immigrant hoping for the American Dream. This is a story close to her heart having been a transplant from Russia herself and speaks of experiences gathered of people far from home trying to make ends meet in the US. Not shying away from making its point that the promise of a better life in America can often come up empty, ELENA stars as Mashka who after escaping a massage parlor faces the great unknown. Without a passport nor money, she’s almost lost until she has to make a decision on doing anything to get her documents. Almost angelic at times ELENA does ever so well to make Mashka a sympathetic character and we can relate with the grim situation she’s in. You have to watch the LA Shorts Fest Filmmaker Interview with Elena (above) as she talks about her experience working on “Paper”.

It’s also interesting to note she’s added some comic flavor alongside pre-MTV, raunchily twerking Miley Cyrus in an episode of “Hannah Montana”! Of note, ELENA has even played Mia Farrow in a biopic about Roman Polanski’s life called “Polanksi Unauthorized”. Proving she’s no one-genre actress, there’s still plenty more to come from this most fetching of faces. I came across an interview who praised her a woman with integrity and intelligence to match her beauty and as you can see this rings true. Elena is of course most well known for her starring role as the sexy, exotic Sasha, in Cinemax’s steamy “Sin City Diaries” and we can’t wait for the second coming of the delectable Miss ELENA TALAN.
