Rising Starlet: Ashley Sumner

The delectably attractive Ashley Sumner is a name we’ll be hearing a lot and she’s already making a splash in the indie horror genre. In just a short time, Ashley has been cast in several intriguing flicks namely the devilish horror of “6 Degrees Of Hell” and the upcoming “Camp Dread” (formerly titled Dead.TV). The latter will be released through Image Entertainment and will probably have a red carpet. She’s playing Sarah, a lesbian who is one of the participants of a reality program that literally kills. Or could she be the killer of this smart and cheeky slasher? Her next feature “Zombie Killers: Elephant’s Graveyard” which is from the same production company has been amassing plenty of buzz. Certainly it’s riding on the the insatiable appeal for all things zombie and from the blood-filled trailer, it’s “Revolution” meets “The Walking Dead”. Honing their skills via paintball skirmishes, a disparate group of fighters protect their community from the invading hordes of zombies. For some, the biggest fear may yet lie within the confines of their gated salvation. Ashley joins Dee Wallace, Mischa Barton, Felissa Rose and Gabrielle Stone in what is an amazingly talented cast that’s extremely gorgeous!

The blue-eyed blonde currently resides in NYC and is in the throes of hitting pilot season so best wishes for her. Pennsylvania is where she’s from and we already know a bevy of popular actresses such as Tina Fey, Amanda Seyfried and Kat Dennings were born there. Just like them, Ashley has the magnetic smile that draws the eyes and makes it easy to adore her. She’s also been doing a lot of commercial work and shot a Purina Waggin Train commercial this week which will air on National TV soon. There are truly exciting times and what better than to follow the work of the fetching Ashley Sumner.
