One of the precious faces ever to enchant the screen, Akasha Villalobos is a beautiful talent whom many will find irresistibly enamored with. I did find myself trying to laud her as the Amy Smart of the indie world by virtue of her lovable appeal but Akasha stands on her own as a distinctive cutie. She is a Best Actress nominee for her performance in “Where The Red Fox Lies” at this year’s Hill Country Film Festival. Nominated alongside her co-star Rebekah Downs, both play sisters trying to bond once more after their relationship had gone sour. This compelling short film melds fantasy and suspense with stellar acting that’s certain to amaze viewers. Expect Akasha to be cherished as she’s truly endearing with her girl-next-door qualities aglow.

She can also be seen in the upcoming horror flick “Last Month’s Rent” as one half of a couple moving into a new home and soon finds it haunted by a benign spirit. The fast-paced trailer (above) suggests it’s not a straightforward haunted house tale and does indeed raise our curiosity to find out more! Akasha was also part of the viral SXSW hit “Mario” where she portrayed Princess Peach and she’s one of the reasons why the video has grossed past 2+ million views! An indie sweetheart on the rise, the lovely Akasha Villalobos is an actress that’s certain to mesmerize every time she takes to the screen.
