Canadian actresses are regularly becoming some of the most sought after ladies onscreen and one such starlet Mandie Vredegoor could soon be on the rise. A natural sweetheart, she’s likely to win hearts in the upcoming thriller “Cut Bank”.
Here’s Mandie revealing more about her appearance in “Cut Bank”:
‘Well, as far as my role in “Cut Bank”, I star as Teresa Palmer’s idol, Chandra Blueford, a local news anchor (who is just too chipper to report for major news stations). That being said, My character is determined to break a big story. When tragedy strikes our small town, Chandra Blueford is hot on the case.’
Besides Teresa Palmer (incidentally one of my idols) who plays a Pageant Queen, there’s several luminaries in the shape of Liam Hemsworth, Billy Bob Thornton and John Malkovich. Yet another feature worthy of mention at this year’s LA Film Festival despite there not being a trailer yet! Especially since “Cut Bank” is reportedly filled with twists that you won’t see coming. Seeing how Mandie was lauded for guest-starring in the TV movie “Heartland” opposite Jane Seymour as a captivating talent with offbeat charm, she could be inundated with adoration after the premiere of “Cut Bank”.
Her upcoming features include recently starring in the feature film “Painkillers” about a group of mercenaries who mysteriously lose their memory while out on assignment. She played Nurse Keller, the aid who helps restore their memories bit by bit. The director is aiming to have this film premiere at TIFF in Toronto which Mandie reveals to be a dark little number. It co-stars the talented Colm Feore and Tahmoh Penikett. She’s also a writer and currently in development on a little sitcom called “And Me is Three” with incredible Liz Levine, producer with Random Bench. Let’s start having a love affair for Mandie as this Canadian Hottie garners praises from all corners.
