Philadelphia Independent Film Fest 2014 Spotlight: Indie Queen Elise Rovinsky

Having been lauded as a tremendous actress, it’s a sure sign Elise Rovinsky has gained the approval of audiences and she’s quite the attraction. Her quirky charm on and off screen is to be relished as she’s played everything from a lesbian to even a vampire! Check her out in “Wallabout” which screens at the Philly Indie Film Fest which is yet another unconventional story of colorful characters. Elise herself is the epitome of an effervescent talent and it shows through her work whether be it on film or the stage. Before moving to New York she actually studied Drama at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Since then, she’s been seen in a number of projects spanning web, film, tv, print and the commercial arena.

The ELISE ROVINSKY OFFICIAL SITE is a great resource to discover the many creative endeavors of this lovely lady. Having done all kinds of theater in New York, she’s had rave reviews for being a fascinating watch. She’s able to switch between kookiness and emotion-filled instances which we know Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, etc. have channeled so elegantly. I envision Elise on a show like “Parks and Recreation” where she’ll impress fans across the board with her off the wall flavor. Plus she has the distinctive features that makes her an original, someone who enchants in her own special way. It’s time you get to know and appreciate the wonders of Elise Rovinsky too…:)
