Sizzling Cutie: Julia Aks

When it comes to adorable features, it’s a slam dunk when admiring the many virtues of the inviting Julia Aks. At Slamdance 2015, she’s starring as Kelsey Peterson in the horror-comedy “Clinger” who cynically advises her sister Fern to break up with her boyfriend. He soon loses his head in a Guillotine accident but the only problem is his return as an extremely needy ghost setting up for some gruesome fun!

Here’s Julia dishing out a juicy behind the scenes story from Clinger:

There were days when we were soaked, and I mean SOAKED, in fake blood for hours and hours. At the end of the day, I’d try to baby-wipe myself clean, but it was usually hopeless. I ended up just driving home wearing trash bags.

If I were lucky enough to be on that set, I’ll probably be laughing along with her at her humorous predicament. With 2 screenings of “Clinger” on JAN 24 and JAN 29, that’s double the pleasure for fans to catch Julia the burgeoning indie starlet as she is attending Slamdance! In the film, she is joined by esteemed Scream Queens Debbie Rochon and Lisa Wilcox who are very much cherished themselves. Certainly with Julia making her presence felt in the indie arena, there’s bound to be fans around the world praising her name in the days ahead.

Fanboys would have seen her cosplaying as Jean Grey from X-Men in “The Meme”, a short film and as Scarlet Ruby Müller, the romantic lead in the romance novel transmedia project (the first of its kind) called The Elements Club. She’s also an accomplished Mezzo Soprano opera singer and has shone when she performs Shakespeare and in musicals. Julia has the in-born sparkle that one so often beguiles and she does it across mediums, echoing her covetable versatility. Would love to see Julia in something along the lines of Amy Adams grifter gal in a “American Hustle” type feature as she’s one who can imbue herself in retro deliciousness. Expect her to make a play for all of our hearts.
