The amiable spirit of TV actresses is what drives us to adore them in droves and the genial Bronwyn Reed is certainly lovable. She’s been ever present on “Law And Order:SVU” as Lucy Huston, the babysitter for Olivia Benson’s foster son Noah. In the first episode of Season 17, she makes a return as the beloved nanny with effervescent grace and let’s hope she’s going to be around for the long haul. Especially in light of the prickly situations that Mariska Hargitay’s Olivia often gets embroiled in, Bronwyn’s Lucy provides some much needed calming influence. After the hectic days of featuring the women of film festivals, it feels great to shift the spotlight on refreshing up and comers such as Bronwyn. She does have an authentic presence that’s suited for the gritty tone of SVU.
Bronwyn is also slated to appear in Sean Penn’s new film called “The Last Face” and is in a scene opposite Charlize Theron in her very first feature no less. She’s actually of Irish descent but will be portraying a young South African woman which will pique significant interest. Bronwyn may be at the cusp of something big on both film and television so keep a watchful eye on her progression as a blossoming performer.
