Screen Sweetheart: Bridget Gabbe

Bridget Gabbe is a face we can’t wait to be in awe of, her charming grace a joy for many to appreciate. She stars in the drama “Big Stone Gap” headlined by Ashley Judd and Patrick Wilson, a tale of love at a small town nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Just like the song “We Are The Youth” by electro-indie band Electric Youth, this is the era when the young talents are parading their acting finesse to the world. I liken Bridget’s adorable factor to a young Brit Marling or even Brie Larson, that affable purity with touches of spunk so easy on the eyes.

Here’s Bridget giving us an insight of her experience working on “Big Stone Gap”:

Working on Big Stone Gap is something I’ll always cherish. I don’t think I’ll ever have another experience quite like it. We filmed in the actual town of Big Stone Gap and I actually stayed with two amazing locals. Two years later, we’re still incredibly close and check in with each other every few months.

It’s a beautiful film. Adriana Trigiani has so much heart and it’s all over this movie. She wanted it to be as authentic and true to the town as possible. Some of the locals even play important roles in the film.

True to form, she’s also been on TV, in the show “The Following” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”, proving that the small screen is the zenith of fascination. Her ability to channel a soulful serene-ness is ostensibly giving us much incentive to follow her work.
