Indie Sweethearts To Crave @ Sunscreen Film Festival 2016

Tara Westwood in “Detours”

– Tara is the personification of exquisiteness in entertainment and judging from the first time I featured her on this blog where she garnered passionate buzz, she’s a Screen Goddess.
– As the leading lady of the dramedy “Detours”, she’ll have you hooked from start to end in the role of Jennifer Giraldi, the newly singleton trying to reconnect with her dad (Carlo Fiorletta).
– Tara’s also set to sizzle at Cannes as her short film “Priceless” about the haves and have nots in Modern America is part of the Festival Corner.

Shani Salyers & Amy Locicero in “Murder On Frog Pond Drive”

– When darlings such as the beautiful Amy and Shani who both star in “Murder On Frog Pond Drive” and are respectively entrancing, it calls for perpetual admiration
– Delectable redhead Shani is absorbingly fascinating as Myrna whose not too ethical inclinations may just be the death of her.
– Ever the sumptuous cutie, Amy glows as Sandy, the private investigator who forewarns Myrna of the consequences of her actions.

Murisa Harba in “F#@K I Love U”

– Murisa is a stunning blonde bombshell who can shine in a myriad of roles very much in the vein of actresses such as Charlize Theron.
– In the web series “F#@K I Love U”, Murisa stars as Angie Winston, a wife who while desiring a happy family with her husband inadvertently causes tension with him.
– With her likely to enchant in the upcoming horror flick “Deadly Crush”, most of us will already have a healthy obsession for the gorgeous Murisa.

Christina Schimmel in “Capture Kill Release”

– We can’t help but fawn over the curvaceous Christina, the Canadian indie starlet who is as radiantly pleasant as she is talented.
– Don’t miss the sexy Christina in “Capture Kill Release”, the Bonnie & Clyde of slasher films that sees a couple at odds when one has a bloodlust that goes unabated.
– Christina does have a wonderful finesse when called upon to tackle dark roles and in 2016, she’s upping the ante with striking resonance in a collection of must-see films.

Alesandra Assante in “The Missing Girl”

– Alesandra is the daughter of acclaimed actor Armand Assante and is currently making a name for herself on the independent scene.
– She’s in the mystery caper “The Missing Girl” which centers on a comic book store owner who fantasises that the woman he admires most vanishes when in fact she’s out of town.
– With Alesandra producing and starring in “The Babysitter” as Katie Seger, a young woman suffering from a mental breakdown, this film may establish her as a favourite Scream Queen.

  1. I love Tara Westwood! I have been following her career since I saw her in Cashmere Mafia with Lucy Liu and then went to a play she did in NY. Detours looks great (I also LOVE Richard Kind/BING BONG from Inside Out!) and hope to see it. Do you know when it will be released? Armand Assante’s daughter is so pretty.

  2. Great article on a truly wonderful actress and a beautiful person. I was Tara’s producer on a film called ‘The Karma Club’ that we just wrapped principle photography on
last weekend. It was an absolutely fantastic experience to be set and watch Tara bring her character ‘Regina’ to places that we could never have imagined. Quite simply, amazing.
