The month of May is turning out to be Love Canadian Actress Month and the charming Enid-Raye Adams amplifies our ardor. She guest-stars in the Season 4 Finale of “Bates Motel” as Dr Smith who is confronted by Sheriff Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) over the fate of her wife Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga). The most enthralling question of the episode ‘Norman’ would be whether Norma is indeed dead or alive. Enid is also appearing in the short film “Trying” that’s part of the Cannes Court Métrage, a story about a couple trying to conceive. The tagline ‘Getting Pregnant Can Be F@*#ing Hard’ should signal we’re in for a rousing rom-com. In fact, Enid is known for her comedic flair which she showcased as the host of the 2014 Leo Awards alongside comedienne Kalyn Miles and received plenty of rapturous ovation.
On the sleeper hit series “iZombie”, Enid was a revelation as Margo Shepard, a villainous sociopath who together with her husband kept girls captive in their tree house. Looks like we have another exponent of dark comedy in the dynamic and likeable Enid. Certainly, she’s popped up on TV quite a lot, having appeared as Laura Hoffman, the spunky neighbour of Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) when they were in the throes of early coupledom. Before that Enid was in “Artic Air”, “Supernatural” and “Backstrom”. She has steadily been making a splash on the small screen and we’ll be wanting Enid to enliven things up for years to come.
