Sizzling Cutie: Samantha Lee

Lauding the fresh faces on film is paramount and with the glowingly beautiful Samantha Lee coming into view, it’s a pleasure indeed. She stars in “Trace”, a suspenseful supernatural thriller which reminds us it’s never safe to mess with things we don’t understand especially when it comes to invoking demons. As the evil grows exponentially, so does the body count as everyone grapples with trepidation.

Here’s Samantha giving us the lowdown on her role in “Trace”.

I play Rebecca, the girlfriend to the film’s lead, Nick. As a “new addition” to this established friend group, Rebecca is the outsider. Because of this, and the director’s vision, my character is somewhat separated from the turmoil – and represents the “light” among these dark events.

Just like when Bruce Campbell’s Ash together with his friends unwittingly summons The Evil Dead, Rebecca and her friends invokes the devilish entity known as Abigor via static signals. There’s even a nod to the many demonic possession movies we’ve accustomed to with its appearance being preceded by the surrounding suddenly turning cold. Be sure to stay riveted till the end to find out her character Rebecca’s fate as the demon does not let up when it comes to putting the fear in people.

She also happens to have ties with Asia; Samantha was actually born in Yokosuka, Japan and is actually 1/8 Japanese which is just sweetness. She has the potential to shine with ebullience in the indie scene and having delved into the horror genre, it’s an excellent platform to win plenty of ardor from viewers.
