Actress Spotlight: Monique Ganderton

Stuntwoman extraordinaire and screen vixen Monique Ganderton is the rose among roses this week in one of Marvel’s biggest comic book adaptation yet. She stars in “X-Men: Apocalypse” as the Horseman of Death during the reign of the all powerful first mutant we know as En Sabah Nuh a.k.a Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) in Egypt. In the opening scenes during a transference ritual, this loyal lieutenant of Apocalypse exhibits her wealth of powers to save him from an early demise. Adorned in ancient Egyptian garb that’s bedecked in gold, Monique has a dangerously sexy look about her in accordance with her status as Death. She starts off “X-Men: Apocalypse” in enticing yet tenacious fashion which will be followed up by the advent of Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Olivia Munn (Psylocke) and Sophie Turner (Jean Grey). It’s every fanboy’s dream to see Monique and her fellow actresses represent such dynamic women, femme fatales or otherwise. She also recently did an interview and lingerie/fashion spread for Shape magazine with her toned physique a hugely enticing factor of that very feature. Check it out here:

Monique has been an accomplished stunt double for several years and will be standing in for Cara Delvigne who appears as Harley Quinn in the upcoming “Suicide Squad”. She is also notable for the guest-starring role on “The 100” as Aurora Blake, the mother of leading lady Octavia and as the formidable witch Serilda in “Sleepy Hollow”. She’s also joining the cast of “Unreal” in its 2nd Season as Brandi so expect to see more catfights because after all women fighting in the name of love makes for compelling drama, something which Miss Quinn King (Constance Zimmer) always strives for. Get ready for Monique to sizzle your world!
