Elena is so commendable as Mara, this woman who at her back of her mind knows her reunion with her husband is likely to be short-lived. Immersing herself into such a complex range of emotions, Elena’s performance couple with Kim’s heart-stirring writing ensures this short film will be well received during its screening at HollyShorts. Directed by a female film supremo and fronted by enigmatic leading ladies, “The End Of Mara” surely ranks as a must-see.
