The divine women of the small screen are consistently impressing us and this week Toni Trucks makes her entrance in dynamic fashion on TV. She guest stars on “NCIS: New Orleans” as the sharp witted CGIS Agent Joan Swanson who kicks ass from the start of the episode as she’s jumped by goons while investigating a moored vessel. It turns out the bad hats are the captain and the crew member who are on a smuggling run possibly financed by Javier Garcia a known criminal. The twist is when Joan discovers his fiancee Eliza West is on the boat and also happens to be a dear friend of Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula).

Toni has loads of spunk as the steadfast Joan who teams up with Dwayne to take down the cartel head Javier but their efforts do come at a deadly price. She’s reprising her role as Joan who first appeared in the 2nd Season finale episode “Sleeping With The Enemy”. She has appeared as the law previously on “Grimm” as Deputy Janelle Farris who requests aid from Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) with a highway-crime scene. Just as she did on “Grimm”, Toni shines on “NCIS: New Orleans”, instilling a resilience that’s befitting of law enforcement officers. This year, she’s already been seen on shows such as “Lethal Weapon” and “Pure Genius”.

Lauded as a chameleon thanks to her varied guises on screen and stage, Toni bring refreshing takes on stirringly dynamic women. She has also been a guest on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” which pretty much means she’s very much desirable as the wily old Craig has an eye for talented actresses. All the more reason to whip up support for the gorgeous Toni to headline her own TV series. Her mesmerizing smile that’s so full of warmth surely warrants a devoted fan base.
