It’s a bonafide pleasure to feature the women of television as it’s quickly becoming my overwhelming passion at the moment so here’s putting the spotlight on the luminous Gwen Holloway. She guest-stars on the 2nd Season of “Lopez” as the mother of Olly (Hayley Huntley) who we know as Lopez’s social media savvy manager. With Lopez visiting their household we get a glimpse of the background of Olly that throws up a few surprises including the revelation she’s immensely smart! It’s a short and sweet stint for Gwen in the premiere episode but rest assured she’ll be returning to partake in the many fun moments of the show that sees George Lopez sandwiched between 2 classes.

Gwen has portrayed a collection of diverse woman on TV, having appeared on “The Mindy Project” as a hippie nanny who Mindy interviews and has a hilarious punchline. She’s was also on “Pretty Little Liars” as a nurse and has appeared on “”Criminal Minds”. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on the lovely Gwen as the sophomore season of “Lopez” progresses as she’s set to add her affable luminosity all the way to the finale.

If you’re a horror fan be sure to watch Gwen in two terrifying features “Havenhurst” and “Bornless Ones” (check out the scary trailer above) which are not for the faint-hearted. In the “Bornless Ones”, she again plays a mother but this time her daughter is in a much darker place as evil supernatural forces threaten to consume her. We love women who thread the dark and light subject matter and Gwen is giving us glimpses of her favorable performances that’s to everyone’s liking.
