Falling in love with our beloved indie actresses is such a joyous event and Latin American actress Brigitte Kali Canales will have us cherishing her in no time. She stars in “Thumper” alongside Eliza Taylor of “The 100” fame who plays a high schooler crossing paths with the leader of a local drug ring (Pablo Schreiber). Brigitte has already dazzled up the red carpet at the “Thumper” premiere at Tribeca and we’ll get to see her enliven things up on the big screen too. Add in “Game Of Thrones” Lena Headey and we have a thriller that’s going to be full of bite.
In the action thriller “Baby Driver” which screened at this year’s Sundance, Brigitte had a supporting role as a young mother. She has previously appeared on the acclaimed series “Bloodline” which will return for its 3rd season this year which is the final one. Brigitte is also notable for being the voice of Alejandra in the video game “Overwatch”. In the short film “Lezz Be Honest”, she’s such a charmer as Ingrid, a woman who is struggling with her desire for affection from other women despite having a boyfriend. With her serenely beautiful features, viewers will agree Brigitte has the innate potential to be a shimmering sweetheart of the film world.
