It’s time to shower an affluence of love for up and coming indie actress Denise Milfort. She stars as voodoo priestess Agrona in “Dead On Arrival” which is written and directed by Stephen C Sepher who also wrote Heist which starred Robert Deniro. We’ve certainly missed our voodoo fix ever since the days of Angela Bassett’s Marie Laveau in “American Horror Story” and it’s wonderful to see Denise reawakening the magic once more. In another first, I’m honoured to be featuring Denise who is the first Haitian-born talent featured on this blog. Look out for her to put us under her spell on “Dead On Arrival” as all voodoo priestess have done throughout the years!

Denise is also starring in the horror short “The After Party” alongside Rachel Amanda Bryant who is very much adored and is currently attending this year’s AFM. Denise plays Madison (above), one of four mysterious women who chanced upon Rachel’s character Skye, a social media queen. Denise is certainly stunning in this noirish take that will be of enticing note. She’s also guest-starred on the historical drama “Roots” and the web series “The Gunrunner Billy Kane”. Having shared screen time with Academy award winning actor Forest Whitaker in “Repentance”, Denise is slated to star opposite Garcelle Beauvais in “Lalo’s House” which is set in Haiti. I’m sure the global audience will be drawn to Denise in droves as she charts her path to success.
