We so often swoon at the splendid bewitchery of the fairer sex and JILLEAN TUCKER is a blossoming young actress with mesmeric qualities. If you have a thing for Emily VanCamp (of “Revenge” fame) then JILLEAN is yet another honey from Canada to start having a crush on. Of course, she’s a beauty all her own and has proven to be a desirable lady. When a director lauds her as being a cinematic joy, it does add credence to the consideration that JILLEAN can indeed be a scene stealer. In “Truckstop Bloodsuckers”, she’s literally a vamp as Kolby, one of two gorgeous waitresses working in a remote diner who have quite the bite! Things get bloody and messy when a small time drug dealer discover their secret.
JILLEAN has an approachable vivaciousness that would no doubt attract more than a fair share of attention. Enough reason to make the JILLEAN TUCKER OFFICIAL SITE a must-visit to keep updated on her projects. An upcoming one called “Deadly Punkettes” will see her as big shot record producer Sicily Mane who presides over a hot all girl band. There’s supernatural elements thrown in with all the drama as the band soon gets terrorized by the ghost of a former member. In addition to this dark comedy, she will also star in the horror movie “Two Faced” joining fellow vixens Jacqui Holland and Erin Marie Hogan who have both graced this blog with their presence. If congeniality is the ‘New Sexy’ then JILLEAN has ample pleasantness to make us pine for her which is exactly what many will be doing in 2014.
ScreamFest may be coming to a close but I’m glad to be able to showcase one more gorgeous up and comer in MELANIE RICHARDSON. She is one of the stars of the fantastical indie horror flick “The Demon’s Rook” which has demons, the occult and a conflicted anti-hero with ties to the devilish dimension. It’s the old-school FX effects that’s a stand out harking back to the days of classic Italian horror with the over-the-top splatter-filled guts and entrails. Also watch out for those naked chicks with blood oozing from their gaping eyes pushing viewers into this freakish vision that somehow is strangely fascinating. Kudos to the horror genre for religiously featuring some of the most beautiful women and with her mix of Caucasian, Hispanic, African American as well as Asian, MELANIE is quite the enchanter.
She also has another feature of the terror persuasion coming up only this time it’s a short film. While MELANIE is steadily growing into her own as an actress, the horror genre could be the very platform that gets her recognize and on to juicier roles.
